News today is that Beto has quit the campaigning.
One fewer bodies on the debate stage. He did throw some support Tulsi's way during the Hillary thing (I wonder if they told him to get out after that?!?). But, he is a corporatist to the core.
No tears from me.

The empty suit, Buttigieg seems to be getting a big push from the establishment media. He has been getting large donations from the establishment already and now it seems as though the media is pushing him. This is all about splitting the delegates going into the convention. He was with intelligence in the military so I wonder if he is still with intelligence now.
As a supporter of Tulsi, I have been seeing and even getting some real vitriol from some Bernie folks about her. They want her to drop out now, and that pisses me off to no end. We need to have her continue to shine the light on the MIC, amnesty for whistle blowers, including Assange, and now she is advocating for the release of 9/11 documents. None of the other candidates, including Bernie, are touching these issues.

I couldn't quite put my finger on why Bernie supporter are critiquing Tulsi the way they are. Hmmmm...I guess if you believe the PTB will actually let Bernie become the nominee, you'd approach his candidacy in a "strategic" way. Me, not so much. I am supporting the voices of both Bernie and Tulsi speaking the truth about the military and sucking the tax payers dry supporting it. It's about as realistic as I will allow my "hopes" to become these days...

and actually campaigned with her. I know he promised to support the nominee and I defended him here from people who wanted him to run third party, but he really went over the top.
So he shouldn't be attack8ing others. I fear he will roll over agin.
As HST said, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Yeah, nobody likes HST, I'll take him over Trump, Clinton, and Obama any day.

and she is having trouble everywhere. But then it could be cuz the media is treating her differently than Warren, but somehow there is still sexism and misogyny in there somewhere, somehow.... not sure how that works in their minds, but it does. Might be that lots of people don't like what she did during her tenure as AG. This is my biggest beef with her. She just posted a video where kids are asking her questions. The tweet that introduced it to me was "the kids whose parents Kamala locked up want to know why she did."

Last time I looked, her black support had bottomed out.
But African American voters have coalesced to a greater degree behind Biden and Sanders — a dynamic that stands out because of their influence in the early stages of the primary and because they’re not behind Harris or Booker.

Of course, it's also politico, so take with a grain of salt--but I have no idea why politico would use its propaganda platform to disrespect Harris and Booker to benefit Biden and Sanders. the more I’ve thought about it, it’s the typical “where else are they going to go” attitude the Dems have had towards the African American voter. But Mayo Pete is a bit more problematic than that. I’m not claiming to be an expert but it seems to me his police issues and race relations in South Bend are going to hurt him with the younger people. As for the older AA voters, who I think normally would vote blue no matter who, I’d be interested to see how the idea of a gay president would work with them. Last I’d read, attitudes were still very conservative among the older AA population.

I spoke to some hard core black Dems today.
They thought Bernie was too sick to vote for, so they were asking me my opinion on Warren!
They REALLY appreciated my position of being an FDR/Socialist voter, and even said I was right about Obama.
