And just wanted to say thanks for all that you're doing for the campaign.
I also bring good tidings back after just having come from a very well-attended Team Bernie NYC meeting tonight at a bar in Brooklyn.
Probably 50 or 60 folks, with lots of enthusiasm and raring to go. A couple of campaign folks spoke to us, and said a lot more were coming to town. Very positive praise for all the grassroots work done already by volunteers here, saying it's the best they've seen in the country. Though I would have liked to have heard that they had already opened a campaign office in the boroughs, alas not yet. Imminent, someone on hand told us; mentioned the Bronx for sure. Also that there was a parallel meeting of African-Americans for Bernie going on in Manhattan at the same time. Tomorrow another one for labor, meeting at the 1199 union hall on W. 43rd st. Canvassing will be the focus, utilizing all the voter data info, especially the use of contacting potential Bernie voters by cell phone and text, to ensure a big GOTV.
Nothing would please me more, in the current moment, than to see Bernie beat Hillary here.
I'll be doing as much as I can, subject to the responsibilities that come with a three month old in the house.
