Joe!

Infreaking incredible.

I present our "front runner"

A little creepy or floppy, Maybe?

They’re SO mad! Joe Biden under fire (AGAIN!) from libs/media over a ‘dad joke’ he told in Iowa

Joe Biden meets a voter’s granddaughter in an Iowa coffee shop and asks her age. She says she’s 13. He addresses her brothers. “You’ve got one job here, keep the guys away from your sister.”

When I have a staff I hope they don't f me up like Joe...

Yup, Botox Biden is the one.

I hate Biden because of where he stands on the issues.

It's similar to Trump, in that the MSM hates him for all the wrong reasons.

@gjohnsit

because I've always liked Biden because of his gaffes, meaning, I really liked his saying our problem in Syria was our allies:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-29528482

7 October 2014

… "Our biggest problem was our allies," Mr Biden told students at the Harvard Kennedy School.
"The Turks… the Saudis, the Emirates, etc, what were they doing? They were so determined to take down (Syrian President Bashar al) Assad and essentially have a proxy Sunni-Shia war, what did they do? They poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens, thousands of tonnes of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad."

This was a pivotal moment in what could have been a strong antiwar movement in Congress and beyond. But no. He was forced to apologize. He didn't, but the media covered it as if he had.

So I've always held out hopes he would stand up to the mob. But he's caved on so much else that he appears to be an integral part of the problem, whereas in the leadership positions he's held he could have generated solutions.

So in agreeing with you, I also think his particular affectionate hands-on approach to women and girls is rightly described as creepy. And what's creepy about it is that it's about power, about putting your hands on people and controlling their movement in circumstances under which it would be a big embarrassment for him and everyone at the event or on the podium if you moved away. That's a creepy way of demonstrating and establishing power.

He may not even be conscious of it. It may express for him a joie de vivre, but it's definitely a joy in controlling people from the position he is in, which is enormous in terms of national and international power.

About 10 years ago I realized that our modern politics is similar to High School. It kind of scared me.

I got a look at it when the Cheney's made fun of Kerry for being "orange" in 2004 and the media ran with it. Since then it's gotten worse. It wasn't long after that, a few years, when I came to the realization that EVERYTHING is High School. Pop culture and personal experience creates the destination and the methodology for leadership.

Pop culture and personal experience are what these assholes like Netanyahu, Hillary, Bush, and Creepy Joe Biden here base their leadership and policy upon. It's a meritocratic popularity contest for us public schoolers, moral accounting pegged to bank accounting for the trust fund kids, or a philanthropic reminder for the kids who have wings and buildings named after their daddy.

Any Established authority is working from the hymnal of pop culture and personal experience.

Since having this epiphany, I don't think any one "gaffe" hit the nail on the head like this one. What planet is he on where that would be the moral chit chat. Creepy Joe and the people running the planet are complete anachronisms.

But how do we throw them out? AOC fits this mold - new boss same boss as the old boss / 4 legs good and whatnot - in her political style. She's riding on pop culture and personal experience from the meritocratic end, but she's NOT an anachronism. She's the new generation of Student Council / Prom candidates.

I do think that Tulsi steps outside the box, and thought Bernie did until he allowed his voters to be cheated at the polls and then allowed the white collar criminals who did it blame the Russians with global political consequences.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this "nothingburger", as I'm sure many will see it. While it may not be a Creepy Joe Biden level gaffe, it surely puts him out of place and out of step with the 21st Century.

His creepy advances on women and power plays in public as mentioned above paired with the "protect yer sister, kid - I know what I'm talking about..." is a TERRIBLE look on him and only helps make him seem more of an anachronism.

It really hits on that HS narrative for me.

He really should run as a Republican. They like that shit.

If Biden winds up getting pushed in, (2nd round of Primaries? Superdelegates?) it should be obvious to all that a great political realignment has happened. It won't be, but it should.

@EdMass @EdMass

it's a nothingburger, and I'm glad you posted it. The struggle women and men are having over Biden's behavior is very important.

Biden meets a voter’s granddaughter in an Iowa coffee shop, and he goes there. He doesn't ask the Iowa voter what he's concerned about with respect to farm prices or the floods or ground water or Main Street businesses. He states the boys' job is to keep the guys away from their sister because, clearly, he noticed how attractive she was.

He went there. I didn't. Those women and men who are saying this is just a Grandpa joke are still in denial about his behavior. Biden is still in denial about his behavior. And the worst thing about this is that he's so much like Trump, behaving like anything he says carries no consequence, as if pronouncing the fact that he's attracted to 13 year old girls is OK because he says so and because the Grandpa in question isn't likely to stand up to him in front of the cameras.

IF elected president...

“I’ve worked so hard in my career, that I promise you, if I’m elected president you’re gonna see the single most important thing that changes America, we’re gonna cure cancer,” Biden told a crowd in Ottumwa, Iowa on Tuesday.

Whoa.

how to defeat ISIS, but he won tell us unless we elected him. If ByeDone thinks that he can cure cancer in just 4-8 years when no one has in forever why would a great American withhold the information?
