Remember when the DKos straw poll got media coverage?

Back in January and February the news media took this straw poll as serious news.
Then suddenly it stopped being news.
Coincidentally, Bernie started dominating those straw polls at the very same time.

I wonder if there is some sort of connection between Bernie winning and the sudden disinterest in these polls?

by refusing to list Tulsi.
Benie's number would not be as dominating with Tulsi siphoning off votes.
Just goes to show the DNC strategy of flooding the field with pseudo progressives simply means the real progressive stands out even more.
One of these days they'll figure it out. Hopefully sometime after the convention.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

Well, I voted over there
and I voted Other plus made a comment that I wanted my Other voter to reflect a vote for Tulsi Gabbard. I got six recs for that comment, so there must be some over there that feel the same about the poll being skewed. IMO, any poll should reflect ALL declared candidates and should not include anyone who has not yet declared.

It's because Internet polls are completely unreliable!
Because as everyone knows there are no REAL people on the internet, just Russian Bots pretending to be real people.
You can tell which ones are Russians by which ones don't support Neo-liberal policies. All humans support giving money to people who already have it. And if you don't you're not only a Robot, but a sexist, racist and possibly religious bigoted Robot. (Surprisingly sounds a lot like the old monster of the "Commie Fag Junkie" that the conservatives used to be scared of...)
Therefore, any poll that doesn't support neo-liberal policies... was ruined by robots.

Bernie winning the DailyKos strawpolls, or Kos having his stupid poll discounted. Either way we win, and in the process, we also released the Belguim. Bernie people are coming out of the orange closet.

Markos long ago acknowledged
he had connected with the CIA back in the early years of last decade. This connection may have lasted 2 years, or more. He claims he had to decide whether to fully sign on with the Agency or go work for the Howard Dean presidential campaign and went with the latter. But it could be speculated that the spooks would find it very useful to have a reliable agent in place in a growing campaign like Dean's, and to have someone as well-situated to monitor and gate-keep the Left with his growing blog, which perhaps the Agency itself helped start. It would be a very useful twofer in fact, both for the Agency in controlling and advising the Left from a CIA-friendly perspective, and for Markos, to satisfy his strong desire to work for an agency he considers overall to be a positive force on the world stage.
Certainly his statements and pro-CIA attitude over the years, as well as his hostile attitude towards Tulsi, the anti-MIIC candidate, are entirely consistent with such speculation. This is my best guess as to how Dkos started and what drives Markos today.
