We've entered the five stages of Russiagate Grief
Stage One: Denial
Let me be clear, I CONCEDE NOTHING! If #MuellerReport didn’t look into Trump’s business ties with the Russians before the elections and didn’t look into his secret meetings with them after the election, then this is an epic debacle that looked into the exact wrong things.

In light of the very concerning discrepancies and final decision making at the Justice Department following the Special Counsel report, where Mueller did not exonerate the President, we will be calling Attorney General Barr in to testify before @HouseJudiciary in the near future.

Stage Two: Anger (mostly reserved for leftists)
Government: Hussein has WMD's, here's a summary intel report
Greenwald: I DONT BELIEVE IT, SHOW ME HARD EVIDENCE
Government: Trump didn't collude/obstruct, here's 4pg summary
Greenwald: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AGREEING WITH MY NARRATIVE

Can we focus on the Golan Heights, Venezuela and Yemen? Or are we gonna waste more time on victory laps?

I can summarize GG’s world view in one tweet: “US bad, Putin good, Hillary bad, Bernie good, Fox good, MSNBC bad, Trump Presidency not dangerous, Brazilian Presidency very dangerous and dogs are more important than people”. Did I miss anything?

Stage Three: Bargaining
Possible that Mueller is preparing to hand dozens to a hundred sealed indictments to regular offices when he unseals; the Attorneys on his team are appellate specialists, I believe. E.G. Dana Boente at EDVA obtained the sealed indictment on @Trump (covering @realDonaldTrump)

Stage Four: Depression
A popular podcast called “Mueller, She Wrote,” which is streamed up to 200,000 times a week, calls its Russia-obsessed fans Muellerites. One of the three hosts, a California comedian who goes by A. G. and has a tattoo of Mr. Mueller’s silhouette on her arm, said the community was in what could only be described as a collective state of muted shock.“I’ve had to talk a couple people off the ledge,” she said.
One fan of the podcast, Anne Craig-Tillmond, said she wants to see the full report before she’s “completely deflated.”
“I’ve been emotionally invested from the start, and was I let down by what Barr said? Absolutely,” Ms. Craig-Tillmond said. “Was I let down by what Mueller said? I don’t know what he said.”
The Facebook page of the Robert Mueller Fan Club says on its “About” page, “All hail Robert Mueller — through his work we shall be delivered from this ignorance and evil we suffer.” Barbara Llewellyn, a retired real estate agent from Naperville, Ill., had written “Hallelujah” on the page. But by Monday, she had changed her tune.

Fantastic piece!
I know many people going through these stages as I write! LOL! Thank you!

As long as there's a dime to be squeezed out of this...
Honestly, I'm shocked how long they're staying in that Egyptian River...

I'm sure Bill and Hillary would agree...

I can't think of anything more appropriate

Neurological effects of media saturation
While some people are more susceptible than others, the willing participant of the media's "shaping the narrative" can actually experience having their brain patterns "shaped" as well, which then manifests itself in behavior not characteristic in that person prior to the persistent participation in media saturation.

Well done gjohnsit.

Excellent essay, gjohnsit
I am so angry that this charade has been perpetuated upon the American people for over two years with the net effect of sucking all the air out of real and meaningful issues. It has also brought the US and Russia into a new Cold War and closer to nuclear annihilation than ever.
If it is really about Trump's business dealings, then they should have made it about that. But they chose to make it about Russia which was a dangerous game of chicken being played between two nuclear powers. These people should be publicly shamed and banned forever from calling themselves journalists. And they refuse to give it up. Rachel Maddow has proven that $10 million per year is all she needed to become the foremost propagandist on television. And she is still peddling that sh*t.
IMHO, this is and never really was about Trump as their primary purpose for launching this dangerous plan. It began as a coverup for Her Heinous losing the easiest Presidential election in history to an orange carnival barker and con man. The book Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton's Doomed Campaign recounts how the night of Clinton's defeat, Robbie Mook and John Podesta concocted the plan to blame it on Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Meanwhile all this air time has been wasted while our planet is rapidly becoming inhabitable for living things and the country is being bankrupted by endless wars and massive tax cuts for the wealthiest individuals and corporations among us.
Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

Rachel did such a great job she got a raise
Didn't she used to only make $7 million a year before she became obsessed with Russia Russia Russia Russia Russia Russia Russia Russia Russia? Why yes I think she did.
Boy am I glad that iPads remember what I type so I rarely have to type many words because my iPad knows what I'm going to say.... Russia Russia.. see? I just have to hit the R and Russia comes up.
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
I've seen this today
the new line is that Mueller has outsourced the indictments!
from a good friend of mine who shared this:
I love the guy but uh....
I think that's the equivalent
Of the 12th dimensional chess game we always hear about from people whose blimp sized bubble just burst in their face.
Pure speculation, I'm assuming, derived from the media's perpetuation of this behemoth ratings generator.
IOW, denial.

Fantastic visual
I'm going to conjure this often, and laugh every time.

Why are so many so-called "educated"
political junkies shocked by Mueller's actions? The guy comes from the Cheney-Bush mob. He's "impartial" alright! Rec'd!!
