Bernie Music!
One of the best political campaign ads I've ever seen (and with AOC's tv team behind his campaign, it's going to get even better)...

Lyrics to the last video...
The Pied piper Bernie Sanders for the middle class, while the GOP wants to put our interest last, he’s gon give it to you raw, no hesitation, with the right ideas to lead this great nation, no hand outs no special interests groups, he don’t lie to get votes he’s telling you the truth, and while the media wants to down play him, He’s still gonna fight tell em all he ain’t playing, pushing for higher wages so we all can feed our families, The only one I know who can conquer this Insanity, of this wall street bickering, belittling the poor, dollar bills only thing they’re considering, when people need health care, kids need school, when it comes to politics Bernie’s breaking, no attack ads on the competition needed, he’s running on the facts and its something that we needed,
Feel the Bern, make em Feel the Bern, all the way to the White House Feel The Bern, Feel the Bern, make em Feel the Bern, tell the haters on the Right, They can feel the Bern, Feel the Bern, make em Feel the Bern, all the way to the White House Feel The Bern, Feel the Bern, make em Feel the Bern, tell the haters on the Right, They can feel the Bern,
You hear them scared shook, “he’s a democratic socialist”, but they don’t even know what it means they just roll with it, get over it, check the resume, fighting for civil rights ever since the first day, while other candidates, still with their handouts, we do it old school grassroots standout, cuz this is our time to have our voices heard, you fat cats had your chance now it’s our turn, they say he can’t win cuz he’s just to liberal, way to extreme, to honest, to cynical, they want another robot politician the same old rhetoric, now they’re gonna listen

I'm getting the feeling

These are tough decisions!
It’s going to be fun to watch the show now that he’s in. They’ve all been trying to proclaim relevance to “the people.” IMHO, now the real debate begins. Who will rise to the top?
Fun times!!

Keep us posted.
I relented to give him his first $27 to support a splash. However, he hasn't addressed how he is going to keep the Dems from stealing it again. A lot of people are wary. I'm one of them.

Bernie and Tulsi
I have been thinking a lot about how the 2020 Democratic primary is being set up for a second round vote so that the super delegates will choose the nominee. This, along with the DNC's rule that the nominee must be a Democrat, could be used to keep Bernie from winning the nomination. IMO, this is why we are seeing so many corporate Dems throwing their hats into the race. The idea is that they will splinter the vote enough to force it into a second round.
So how does Tulsi Gabbard fit into this? Unlike some, I believe having Tulsi in the race can help both Bernie and Tulsi if they have an understanding up front to help one another when it comes down to the convention.
Regardless, the Democratic party has set some very high barriers to either Bernie or Tulsi. Right now, I am supporting Tulsi because of her anti war, anti regime change position.

I saw a tweet yesterday about how the DNC is trying to
keep Tulsi out of the debates. But that the super delegates are still in play is just one of the reasons I won't vote. The DNC still have their smoke filled back rooms in play.
But my last straw for voting is what Utah did to our medical marijuana and Medicaid expansion. Both won with huge numbers, but the legislature just ignored what we wanted and gutted both of them. Over riding the will of the voters.
There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?

I saw that tweet too

The takeaway is that a DNC rule requires a candidate to reach a certain percentage in a poll of the DNC's choosing. Like the kos poll, if Tulsi is not included in the choices, she will be automatically eliminated. The public smears of her have not worked so now she is being shadow banned by the party. The corruption in the Democratic party knows no bounds.

Compensated Spokes Model for Big Poor.
Revisiting all this I have to say the coolest
thing I had ever seen was Bernie exiting the stage to rapturous applause, with Bowie’s “Starman” playing.
Always gave me the warmest feeling, especially that Bowie had just died. Even though I think Bernie might have admitted he didn’t know who he was. Was even cooler that his staff were so inclined (while Hillary’s pathetically and predictably lame campaign sought airhead stuff like Katy Perry and abysmal, horrid 80’s douchebag, cheese balls Bob Jovi. Sorry, The 80’s will always send me into a tirade...heh). As demonstrated in the music also it was the Mainstream vs. the Visionary.
The whole campaign seemed filled with fantastic, organic moments. Offhand, musically there was a major long list of musicians signing on of their support including the Red Hot Chili Peppers; Art Garfunkel on MSNBC talking about his support and the use of “America” in his ad; lots of local benefit shows and of course Bernie singing Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land.”
Damn those fuckers for cheating all that this was. There’s no doubt, as evidenced even here, that that and his handling of it to support $hills, drove away some people from the whole electoral process. Perhaps for good.
But what burns me most is that unbelievably intense support of young people, whose energy, enthusiasm and dreams were crushed to bits by a venal, vile, criminal system that revealed its true venomous face. Some of those folks ain’t coming back because of it.
This time around won’t have that kind genuine outpouring of love at its core. It’ll be a far harsher, take no prisoners, make no apologies appeal - as it must I suppose.
Thanks for the roundup, bob. Really good to see you around here more.

What has changed since 2016? Aren't the same political power brokers who stole the election from Bernie's supporters still in power?
