Who knows if this is true or not but this might irritate some of the fifty other opportunists who are already out mugging in front of the camera, telling us all the reasons why THEY should be this coming elections answer to all our problems. As for us plebs, instead of dreading the coming 2-year campaign for the 2020 election, we should turn it into a game. Get some FUN out of the hysteria and hyperbole. Maybe like the drinking game. Or we could have a weekly contest for who told the most (or fewest if possible) whoppers in a week. Anyone who wanted in could ante in a dollar and the final kitty go to C99%. Or something.

Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, reportedly has yet to rule out running for the Oval Office again in 2020.
CNN White House correspondent Jeff Zeleny said Sunday on CNN's "Inside Politics" that Clinton told people "as recently as this week" that she isn't "closing the doors to the idea of running in 2020."
"I'm told by three people that as recently as this week, she was telling people that look, given all this news from the indictments, particularly the Roger Stone indictment, she talked to several people, saying 'look, I'm not closing the doors to this,' " Zeleny said.
"It does not mean that there's a campaign-in-waiting, or a plan in the works," he continued.

We protect them
in Brevard NC. Our white squirrels are highly prized by the locals and a source of wonder by tourists. There are number of other towns that have white squirrels, but Brevard is believed to have the highest concentration of them at about 40% of the total squirrel population.

Could the DNC not allow Bernie to run in the primaries? That could clear the deck for Hillary.
I could see also a large field going into the convention with no winner. Second round super delegates get to vote, and install Hillary to get a second chance at the White House even though she did not run in any primary.

That being said, his running in 2016 sure as hell changed the conversation and revealed to anyone that cares to look that the leadership of the Democratic party are corporatist shills. Issues he pushed are now mainstream and we would not have congresspersons like AOC or Tlaib if he had not run. Hillary was nominated but she certainly has lost control of the agenda. He can do good by running even if he doesn't win.
