DNC finally addresses the elephant in the room

For two years the DNC has been doing everything it could to distract people from the most critically important element of the 2016 presidential race - the Democratic Party primaries were rigged, and it wasn't because of Russia.
So quietly, while almost no one was paying attention, the DNC finally stopped pretending that the problem wasn't real.

The DNC issued a new set of rules this week, and one of those new rules is that staffers at the DNC have to remain neutral during the Democratic primaries. The organization is hoping to avoid a repeat of the 2016 election where they were clearly pulling for Hillary Clinton the entire time. These new rules are a good first step, but only if they are actually enforced.

The new rules are thus:

The rules would prohibit DNC staffers and officers from financial contributions to particular candidates, attendance of events that could suggest partiality, public statements or social media posts espousing presidential preferences, internal communications expressing views for or against Democratic candidates, and even gestures like displaying bumper stickers or lawn signs for individual campaigns.
...
The ongoing controversy over what the DNC did or did not do to boost Clinton and undermine Sanders fueled dissension from the party’s left flank that might have undermined Clinton’s performance on Election Day.

Ya think?
The rules are nice, but they don't address the real problem:
The DNC was a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Clinton campaign.
Where are the rules to stop that?

The DNC is trying to promote "staff bias" as the problem they are going to fix — as if "bias" is what the accusers meant when they referred to the physical "election rigging" that took place across many states.

They are going to make sure staffers don't have a bumper sticker for their favorite candidate on their car? Or a lawn sign at their home? Cause that was the problem?

This is why they lose. It's just more of the same coordinated bullshit.

"Here, let's add some niggling little easily-circumventable rules to convince the masses we are DOING SOMETHING(tm) while we go about business as usual."

As if rules about bumper stickers might even remotely address the fact that the entire organization sold itself to the Clintons and the sort of cultural corruption that implies. Press civil and criminal cases. Bar others from ever participating in the Democratic party. Address how riggable the elections are to start with. In other words, do some house cleaning. That's what the party would need to do in order to begin to convince me.

...99% of certain, big money, state party campaign contributions to the national DNC to deliberately circumvent presidential campaign fundraising laws? I'm sure the DNC will "solve" that "issue" any day now...

Hey any word on the $84 million money laundering lawsuit? You know when donated money raised for state parties by the Hillary Victory Fund were then passed back to the DNC and on to Clinton’s campaign.

The Anatomy Of Hillary Clinton's $84 Million Money-Laundering Scheme

Here's what you can't do, which the Clinton machine appeared to do anyway. As the Supreme Court made clear in McCutcheon v. FEC, the JFC may not solicit or accept contributions to circumvent base limits, through "earmarks" and "straw men" that are ultimately excessive — there are five separate prohibitions here.

On top of that, six-figure donations either never actually passed through state party accounts or were never actually under state party control, which adds false FEC reporting by HVF, state parties, and the DNC to the laundry list.

Finally, as Donna Brazile and others admitted, the DNC placed the funds under the Clinton campaign's direct control, a massive breach of campaign finance law that ties the conspiracy together.

Democratic donors, knowing the funds would end up with Clinton's campaign, wrote six-figure checks to influence the election — 100 times larger than allowed.

Not sure of the accuracy of the Donna article because it starts out with this BS.

"When I was asked to run the Democratic Party after the Russians hacked our emails, I stumbled onto a shocking truth about the Clinton campaign."

Nothing more recent than July. Is she going to skate on that? The DNC lawsuit had a hearing this week, but I can't find anything about it.

on this subject. The lawsuit was said to be in the works, but I can't find anything on it since July. This was blatant election fraud and if she skates on it and yet Trump gets fined for paying his mistresses then that's a problem.

Also her using the Correct the Record peeps show where she paid people to "correct" others opinions also skirted election law. No idea where I put this article on it, but I'll look for it.

I still don't understand how that's illegal. It's slimy, but sliminess is always associated with infidelity; not illegal that I know of except for the campaign funds thing, and if those funds were used, of course it's illegal. Both Cohen and Trump have enough money not to have to dip into campaign funds for anything. I obviously don't understand the whole thing.

Thing is, this hush money stuff took place fairly recently, as opposed to just how long ago the Hillary Crime Machine, including Her DNC Branch, did all the shit it did and nothing but a few, get-your-hopes-up, teases. These are real crimes. Crickets on the 3 Letter news stations too -- Cohen and other bullshit is all over every broadcast. Yet we're crazy if we think there just might really be something to that whackadoo Deep State "theory".

to keep silent about it or he setup a shell company to hide the payment. I think most of Cohen's sentence is for lying about stuff to Mueller or the FBI.

Again if that's what he's being charged for it's a problem because Brennan and Clapper and numerous others have lied to congress and not one damn thing happened to them.

Congress person: Mr Brennan is the CIA spying on American citizens?

Mr. Brennan: Nope.

Then there's Herheinous' being paid to interfere with anyone who had business with her state department and Obama and congress looked the other way. Not reporting that money to the IRS? Emailing classified information on her private email server and having proof that a foreign country hacked into it? Move along nothing to see here ... oh yeah, receiving billions for Haiti after the earthquake and not using it to help people with housing, jobs, etc. but selling access to companies to rebuild the waterfront hotels and casinos to anyone who donated to her foundation?

"But Russia made me lose the election". Wah!!

and yesterday's oral arguments. The first attempt was dismissed, but here is what happened yesterday during the appeal.

You probably already know that during the first attempt, a DNC representative basically argued that the DNC is a private entity and can do whatever it wants:

“The DNC reportedly argued that the organization’s neutrality among Democratic campaigns during the primaries was merely a ‘political promise,’ and therefore it had no legal obligations to remain impartial throughout the process,” a reporter for Newsweek wrote.

And of course, pretty much zero coverage in the MSM. In fact, the hearing was originally scheduled for September, but with the mid-terms coming right up, it was postponed to December, when it was easier to bury. I can only imagine how shocked you are;-)

Hey, Dianne. This. Did. Not. Happen! You should be asking Pompeo for the video proof that Manafort even was at the embassy. Or you could quickly find out if he did by looking at his passport.

Oh. If you really want to stop election interference then you should speak to your friends in Israel. Or Saudi Arabia. Or .. just retire already! What the hell are some Californians smoking to keep sending her back to congress?

It always seemed a little harsh when delivered to "news anchor" Jane Curtain on Saturday Night Live. But the declaration fits Feinstein like a glove. I now have a better understanding of the connection between ignorance and evil.

Somehow, Dianne found time in her busy schedule yesterday to smear Julian Assange with a malicious lie.

Is Dianne just so ignorant that she didn't know her lie was debunked — and law suits have already been filed against the slanderous Guardian reporters?

Or was she being what she has become — 170 pounds of evil intent stuffed into a lady suit?

The most corrupted members of Congress are the ones who will say and do anything to silence Assange and prevent him from exposing the dangerous hoax that they and the Intelligence Community inflicted upon the nation. Watch them. They tell lie after lie to cover up their unconstitutional actions — while a man's life hangs in the balance....

Too many people know. This is not going to go away.

I’m not sure what the problem is here. The Democratic Party was for sale and Mrs Clinton bought it. She may have overpaid but that is not a crime.

(Spotted in a comment thread on The Intercept(?) at the time, and it was so beautiful I memorized it...)

Since I can’t buy the party, I have no interest in getting into a bidding war with those who can. So this is not only useless but pointless.
