Hillary Clinton leaves door open for 2020 run: 'I'd like to be president'
Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during an event over the weekend left the door open to a possible 2020 run, saying that even though she doesn't want to run, "I'd like to be president."
Clinton's comments come as speculation has increased over whether she will launch another bid after the midterm elections.
"Do you want to run again?" Recode's Kara Swisher asked during a Friday night Q&A with Clinton.
"No," Clinton replied quickly, sparking laughter from the audience. But when Swisher pressed her further, she added: "I'd like to be president."

Just installed a candidate who didn't have to go through the messy primary crap? I could see the DNC having big enough brass ones to just install Hillary as the winner. This might be the only way she could win anyhow. She had to cheat to win the last one.

Many people who voted for her last time would oppose her running this time for fear of 4 more years of Trump. Everybody knows how disliked she is in so many places. The more I think about it the more I think her main problem is not being empathetic enough, not nearly as bad as Trump on that IMO. I think she does know what she's talking about and it's not just an evil agenda, but we need more democracy in this country and we need healthcare and a cleaning out of all the corruption and we need non-sellout politicians.

DNC and state parties still dominated by Clinton loyalists
The DNC after the election was staffed and re-staffed with Clinton loyalists. Bernie supporters for the most part purged. At the state level, party apparatus controlled by same people who cheated and gamed the system for Hillary. Include with that many unions, think tanks, and non-profits such as Planned Parenthood are also still controlled by Hillary loyalists. Clinton may not be popular with the general populace, but the democratic party infrastructure is there for her.
And will prevent anyone truly liberal and progressive

and it’s easy to do. A second (or third really) run defies logic. HER lost for a handful or reasons, all of which point back to HER and were easy to predict if you don’t live in that bubble. While the commoners are beyond sick of HER (and him too, while we’re at it), the same infrastructure that appointed HER is unchanged. The fact that the Dems have done no soul searching after 2016 and continue to push Russia says it all.

Those monoliths at Yosemite are scary as hell. I remember looking over the edge of Half Dome (there's an easier way up the back where boards have been placed and ropes are not required), to the forested Yosemite valley below. Pine trees, hundreds of feet tall, looked like a lawn of tiny grass with a little hairline crack going through it which was the main road through the valley. Some people at the top would lay on their stomachs and stick their heads over the edge to peer down. Not me, I stuck to the middle area of the top of Half Dome.

I did try to listen to Her latest recode interview, made it to 4:29 before I felt like throwing up, could not continue. I cannot listen to her, but I did read the transcript of that
Recode interview. I listened to the brief clip of the Booker/Holder comments, but that was all I could take so I read it instead.
This was where she said she “would like to be president”. Wow, shocker. And she’d still like it handed to her, no pesky campaign, because she is so qualified and ready... and sexism, ya know...gag. It sounded like it was 2015/16 all over again, now with Russia and “I wuz robbed!” thrown in.
The interview itself was total softball and a lot of fawning from the interviewer. A few “hard questions” that she was allowed to sidestep, but none of the big ones. I have to wonder why, why she gets this adoration and people looking up to her. I just don’t understand it. She repulses me. She has personally set back the cause of equality and women’s movement by an enormous amount. The damage is permanent and devastating. That’s only one of her great evils.
“Excess” hate... what is that? Is there a proper amount? Lol , Whatevs... like most people here, I could rattle off 10,001 reasons, and what we know about her, to justify any amount. I then said it was way past time for the national party to actually support some good policies that would benefit real people. People are tired of the lesser of two evils stuff that they keep pushing down our throats. The younger woman with her was nodding her head yes the entire time I was talking. And the Democratic party woman actually said she agreed with me completely.
