It was a good show. Well worth seeing if you get a chance.
He played a small acoustic set in the middle featuring this composition.
The road crew messed up the settings on his guitar effects and he had to stop, ask them to fix it and then start over.

we open threads by letting it all out so to speak; feeling free to express whatever comes to mind. It's my fault this morning in being dense which i'm prone; after all, the pendulum swing running from the social progress of the sixties is as obvious as a wall on the southern border; thankfully it clicked just after i posed the question.

Think everyone is tired of additional burdens laid on our shoulders by the asshats; this place offers a respite from the fray.

Temperatures in the region peak at 100 degrees Friday and 105 degrees Saturday. Northerly winds are forecast to gust up to 40 mph Friday into Saturday and with potential for single-digit humidity levels.

I am back watching windy.com again, to see which way the wall of fire might come. Evacuate? lol ru kidding good luck. At least I got the bike tire patched, so it can melt as I peddle through the flames. lol

yeah okay enough is enough. Unfortunately, I burned the bottom of the zuke frittata in my lodge pot on the hot plate as I was type-ranting that. Thanks goodness I can still eat good food sometimes, bad food is such a bummer. It is squash abbondanza right now, good times.

It's already getting warm. Made my early walk around Trade Day. All I bought were avocados. Lots of melons available. Our tomatoes are starting to come in. Along with squash and so on. Busy time in the garden. After 3-4 inches of rain this week, you can watch the grass grow.

Yesterday a buddy helped me replace the gas cut off valve on my old 1963 Ford 4000 tractor. You're supposed to replace it every 3 years. I've had the tractor over 3 decades and this was the first replacement...and boy did they make it difficult. Had to pull the entire front cowl off, unbolt the gas tank, replace the cut off, put in a new gas line while we were at it. Then everything back together in reverse. Took about 3-4 hours...but maybe it will last another 30+ years.

I say praise the 60's...a time when thinking was popular, music was evolving, and awareness was growing. How lucky to be a product of those times!

Eyo be careful in the inferno...sounds like hell.

rubber piece disintegrated on my 97 Nissan causing the brake-lights to stay on; luckily, i figured it out as the pieces were on the floorboard, but had to have a young limber back to replace the stopper under the dash; in all a $15 fix, phew.

The sixties grew upon the backs of decades of workers uniting and artists, writers and bohemians singing truths; as i read somewhere this morning, lets not lose 100 years of social progress overnight to lame-brained, obnoxious, greedy asshats.

Reminds me that i forgot to mention today's marches, may they all be well attended and protest in safety.

Fridge pours forth fresh veggies, yummy eating this week.

@Lookout Had a 63 Dodge D-100 pickem up truck I called Chuck the truck. Slant 6 cylinder 225 hp engine with '3 on the tree' tranny. Drove it all over the US with a hand built camper shell. Talk about dependable, built like a tank. Don't make 'em like that anymore. Sad Last seen, I retired him to a petting zoo in Florida. Hauling hay. Bye Chuck.

Farming can be a daunting career to pursue, especially as a young farmer or rancher in the current farm economy. Given the various barriers to entry, most beginning farmers cannot succeed without the help of others. Having a place to collaborate, profit, and educate other farmers not only supports beginning farmers, but it is also a stepping stone toward a more well-rounded, economically sound agricultural region, state, nation, and world. One of the most well known business practices for creating this environment of collaboration and education is the cooperative business model.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Co-op Essentials Booklet, cooperatives “are a type of corporation. . .owned and controlled by the people who use its services.” Cooperatives operate under a set of principles called the Rochdale Principles. These principles were based off of one of the earliest known cooperatives, The Rochdale Equitable Pioneers Society, after a failed attempt at getting higher wages for workers during the Textile Mills Worker Strike of 1843 in Rochdale, England. Twenty-eight men who were former mill workers started a small food store to combat the high prices of food in their area. They only sold butter, sugar, flour, and oatmeal, but they survived the winter of 1844 because of their cheaper food prices that citizens of Rochdale turned to.

This early coop set a precedent on how cooperatives should be operated and these principles still stand as the business model for modern cooperatives. As time has gone on, different types of coops have formed. Some of the most common forms of coops are service coops, marketing coops, and purchasing coops.

I couldn't when I first started helping my neighbor study. That is when the light bulb burned my brain with the duopoly and our fake history. My neighbor was from Oaxaca, and when she finally got her papers she went home. Obama really messed up the border after Bush. Trump is a racist asshole I think, he is cruel to the maximum because of it, the bigotry. Why make people suffer? I don't get it, never will. That is my problem.

Don't worry, he'll probably be totally bored, so make sure he doesn't give himself away by his taste in phone games. Tell him to avoid the FPS and loud war games, since those tend to give the game away. Also, there's already one youngish male veteran, and he's pretty screwed up and will be wearing a Hawaiian shirt. A clean cut in a business suit one is probably going to stand out.

couple days and plan to come visit, Mon or Tues; camping out is what we'd like to do, but i only have a backpacking one-man tent and my son has my old two-man backpacker so i'd like to invest in a large tent, stand up, room for table and chair type. Our local wallyworld has 3 varieties to choose from a stand up teepee style, 8' and a stand up yurt style 7.5'and a dome tent that about 6' at center height all three with similar floor space.

Unfortunately only the walmart brand available locally, no Colemans; can't afford much anyway, but am hoping for a few thoughts from those of you with experience with non-backpacking tenting.
Suggestions and tips appreciated

@smiley7 they are the easiest to put and down, that's what I think. The cheaper it is, the faster it falls apart, so you can still get a good dome tent even though it won't last forever. Ozark Trails tents are all over the place around here, they seem to hold up at least one season. Have fun living outdoors! cheers
