Alpha- thank you!
Alpha, you are the man (or person), you do such great work! Thank you so much for setting up this thread and posting updates.
I am at work (Washington state) and it is driving me crazy (good and bad) to see what is happening.
LieparDestin/BNR will be
LieparDestin/BNR will be putting up a liveblog around 4PM Dallas, TX time, too. I will be watching both. Please stupid Dumbshine State : do it for the Bernster--something right FOR ONCE!!

I voted for Bernie Down here in Floriduh..
My wife tried but for some reason they had her listed as No Affiliation so she wasn't able to.
Florida has some Lame ass rules. If you are undeclared you should be able to do so right up until you vote...

I are a Floridiot too
But I am smarter than the average Floridiot and voted for our man Bernie!

Closed Primary
This state has closed primaries. It's lame and old fashioned. But, you have to be registered either Repuke or Democrat. You can then vote for only the candidates who represent your party. If you don't like your choices, you have to leave it blank. If you try to write in, it invalidates your ballot. In November, you can vote for whoever you want. It's bullshit and needs to be changed, but it's the rule down here in the Dumbassed State.
Inner and Outer Space: the Final Frontiers.
We have closed primaries in NY too
And your wife not being able to vote today made me nervous. Just checked: Active Status, Party Affiliation: Democratic. Can't wait!

I'm hoping for 3 Bernie wins
regardless, this goes on until the convention and then beyond it, no matter what the outcome.
Exit polls in the afternoon aren't necessarily accurate so whatever we see should be taken as an indicator more than a result.
Thanks for running this and giving us a place to chat today and tonight.
3 wins- please (fingers crossed)
Okay, I rarely beg but in this instance I will beg with all my might. LETS GO BERNIE! (yes I am yelling-sorry everyone)

i want it all. ALL I TELL ALL!!! nothing for Clinton.

Yeah, campaign in all 50 states
(plus, the other candidate might be assassinated/indicted/etc)

I am feeling that Sanders is got a REALLY strong chance to win
a Trifecta tonight.
I am pulling for 3 but I would like to see him Upset Florida.
My polling location was light but I know that at least 3 people there were voting for sanders based on bumper stickers I saw in the mostly empty parking lot.
Both of my Neighbors that I have talked to about it (Black couple on one side and Cuban behind me) are pulling for Sanders today as well. I don't speak Spanish well, and he doesn't speak English but we sometimes "communicate" over the fence when I am passing him mango's and he passes me limes, he saw me yesterday in my Bernie 2016 shirt walking the dog and shouted "BERNIE!!!!" with his thumbs up.
Was a cool moment...

No, I actually was just bemoaning that myself, lol!
None of my neighbors have Coconuts for some reason.
Fortunately my buddy owns a landscaping business so I can get bushels of them for free out of his trailer whenever I want. (He cuts tons off every day it seems.)
I use them for Mojito's, grow my own mint but still no lime tree. (My Lemon is cranking them out though as is my Mango.)

I don't really watch TV. Please keep me updated. When do they start counting?

Only watch sports and politics (sometimes cartoons)
I will be glued to the set, but much rather get updates and results here. Watching Michigan results last week on TV took several years off my life.
The first exit polls should be coming within the next 20 minutes
But the first polls don't close until 7PM EST I believe. (Florida is open from 7AM till 7PM)

This waiting is almost as nerve wrecking as waiting for the birth of my three sons (please do not tell my wife I wrote this).
This is a pivotal moment in this election and history; we need to do well to convince the rest of the world that the impossible is possible.
Agreed, while this is not a do or die battle

i do admit to having watched all seven seasons (again) of The West Wing on Netflix, and am working my way through Frasier.
Okay. And I might watch The Good Wife.

Forgot to add, I LOVED West Wing.
I frequently used to bemoan that we needed a President Bartlett. (I got turned onto the show from a clip from one episode on an Atheist website that I go to and I was HOOKED.)
I think Bernie is the Closest I have ever seen to a Bartlett. I think he REALLY does only have the best intentions for all of us and that is something I have never truly felt about any candidate for any office before.

omg
one of my favorite shows of all time and totally agree about needing a President Bartlett and a team of people around him believing governing from a moral imperative.
Bernie is very much like Bartlett in spirit.
btw, Bernie's creative team is genius.

Illinois voting is super high. It might break records.
The highest year ever was 2008. This year, in Cook County, the early voting totals are 37% than the record set that year.
When I was driving this morning, I took a gander at my voting area. The line was out the door.
The courthouse voting area and parking lot were crammed. City hall voting area in my town? No parking spots left. People were waiting to pull in and park.
the more the voters, the more likely the good guy wins.
Why is Kevin Gosztola reporting just the opposite--
source is Fox.

No matter what happens
the Southern Primary is over after today, and Bernie should be able to start closing the delegate gap. Primary Phase Three starts tomorrow.
Expecting: narrow wins in Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, 5 pt loss in NC, 20 pt loss in Florida. Clinton should extend her delegate lead a little bit more. But I am prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

The whole Chicago scene is the same. Voters are showing up in large numbers and voting Bernie.

Hmm. End of narrative that Bernie so white?

NC and FL are EDT
will likely be called early, and the only ones I expect Clinton to win, so she will probably speak first. That will be her last winning speech of this primary. Bernie will hopefully wait until Illinois is called, giving the first of many victory speeches to come.
Is part of the FL panhandle on Central time?
Of course, if NC is not called early, that's a very good sign.
