Hillary Clinton Will Headline A Major DNC Fundraiser

A set of likely presidential candidates will join their party's last nominee, Hillary Clinton, to raise money for the Democratic National Committee next month at its annual Women's Leadership Forum.
California Sen. Kamala Harris, New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, and former Missouri secretary of state Jason Kander will speak at the May event in Washington, the second major fundraising effort by the DNC this year, following last month's "“IWillVote Gala."
Since early last year, when Tom Perez took over as chair of the DNC, the former labor secretary has faced a steady string of questions about the party's fundraising operation, which has lagged consistently behind its Republican counterpart. In 2017, the DNC raised about $67 million — falling short of the Republican National Committee by all of $58 million.
Clinton's presence at the forum, a likely draw for some of the major donors who supported her campaign against President Trump, will come about two months after she held a New York fundraiser for her post-2016 political group, Onward Together, on the same day as Perez appeared in Manhattan to raise money for the party, drawing complaints from some donors.

As the percentage of electoral participation dwindles to a flicker in the wind, it's heartening to hear Hillary and the DNC are right on top of that with catchy slogans like "I will vote!" And candidates like Kamala Harris to fix it.

They're showcasing in yet another election cycle, then yes, it is a relief to be a disinterested bystander watching which corrupt candidate will "win". But I still get depressed and angry when I think too much about how the psychopaths running this country are committing so many unspeakable acts. Across the globe. The first time though she didn't blame everyone for it. Good grief, when she doubled down on her deplorables accusation when she was in India I about fell off my chair laughing! Does she really not see how bad it is that she's insulting everyone just because they didn't vote for her?

Because she was able to leveraged her power of influence for the SOS position. This time around what does she have? Taking staged pictures of "random" hikers out in the woods and posting them on Twitter? Traveling to India to make inconsequential speeches in the only place that'll still pay her money? And in the end what were the headlines of that trip?
Not hard to connect the dots of why all that bitterness still rages on inside her this time around.

And on that I think really ought to be taken very seriously. From a branding standpoint, no matter how you think about Hillary, it has to be obvious that in a LOT of eyes that brand is tarnished. From a performance standpoint, she lost against Donald Trump -- 'nuff said. So she's a known poor performing with a tarnished brand yet they want to shower her with money. Whatever their purpose is, it has nothing to do with obvious politics.
A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.
