Markos and Armando lose their sh*t over DNC corruption
Jimmy Dore flat out calls Armando a "legitimate, unhinged mental case" in the video below.
Meanwhile Matt Taibbi, rips Markos a new one for his Russophobia CT.
This has become a popular meme: That even paying attention to some of the core charges in Brazile's book is tantamount to aiding the Russians.Markos Moulitsas tweeted as much by way of an analysis of @SecureDemocracy's "Russian propaganda tracker," the social media tool of the Alliance to Secure Democracy. (The Alliance is itself part of a groundbreaking effort to build a bridge between modern Dems and Bush-era neocons, but that's another story).
When it came out that eight out of the top 10 trending topics on the "tracker" this weekend were about the Brazile-fueled DNC scandal, this is what Moulitsas said: "If you’re letting the Right and the Russians drive your agenda, then it’s time to rethink your approach."
The use of rumors and innuendo to gin up furious emotional responses through a community before facts and corrections can catch up; the use of letters of denunciation; the reflexive charge that dissenting thoughts aid a foreign enemy – does no one recognize this? Has no one out there read a history book?
Now dig a few responses to Markos' tweet.

2017 Markos would call 2006 Markos a Kremlin stooge for writing Crashing the Gate. Are you proud of what you've become?
— OuijaForestCat (@OuijaForestCat) November 4, 2017
No, it's time to rethink you're LIFE...
— Michael Peroff (@michaelperoff) November 3, 2017
If you are letting Dimestore McCarthyism drive your weak-assed Centrist agenda, then it's time to re-think your approach.
— Vladmir Discord (@WamsuttaLives) November 4, 2017
Speaking of Markos, I ran across this article from January, titled "Moulitsas: What we need in a new DNC chair".
The primary process must be fixed.
Mission Accomplished!
Or did you mean it the other way?
Comments
Great Idea! Totally rethinking the approach...
I could use an untraceable Russian Paycheck. Then I can turn stooge and get a third paycheck from the CIA to report on what they're doing, and when I reveal that info to my SVR handlers, I'm sure to get a better paycheck to pass along false info.
I'm sorry, but that did make about as much sense as the Russian crap.
/snark
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
This is on the wreck'd list
can you guess?
Also, we tortured some folks, and committed war crimes, but that book is closed too.
No sense in bringing people to justice and upsetting the apple-cart.
I try not to directly reply to TOP stuff...
Like Saudi Arabia declaring that another country has declared war on IT. No shit. Apparently that's a thing now, and if this gets upheld, you know the MIC will shit a brick to be the first to take this crap for a spin.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
I couldn't agree more
But every once in a while it's amusing to watch the old place becoming a mental asylum that people willingly enter.
I like to check out this chart for the same reason.
@gjohnsit That diagram title

Perfect comment!
@gjohnsit Why are the words Sore
Just seems like I've heard this argument somewhere before...

MSNBC finally listens
Any plans to buy his new book and learn how to fight
back against Trump?
From Crashing the Gates to learning how to be part of the pussyfoot brigade.
A few reviews for his book that starts with "Hillary received 3 million more votes than Trump....
"This book is for all those people who just want to get rid of Donald Trump and they don't care how. Mr. Moulitsas shows a decidedly lax knowledge of how the US electoral process works and the ideas that are behind this nation constitution. I would recommend this book for a Civics Class just for the students to learn what is wrong with his ideas."
"Save your money. not all that help no lists of organizations or . Waste of time"
"Kos is part of the Democratic Establishment who anointed Hillary Clinton and gave us Trump."
"Blames communities of color for our current president #white liberal bs"
Best one?
"Corporatist neoliberal Daily Kos owner peddling garbage. Not progressive. Watch Jimmy Dore and learn."
or
"Trump has the same policies as Obama, so resist what and support what?"
Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?
I note a lack of berets and mackintoshes...
Lemme know when they blow up a MIC supply train and I'll take their "resistance" seriously.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
This is exactly what I've been saying
the only protests during his tenure was OWS, BLM and DAPL and we know what happened to them.
Millions marched against the Iraq war, yet very few people showed any resistance to his actions even though they were the same, or worse than what Bush did.

I admit to being too stupid to understand #Russiagate
But I went and read the story linked below and I could only come up with one thought.
Holy cow! This is straight from the Kremlin's playbook. That Markos character is deliberately undermining confidence in American (and specifically, Democratic) institutions. Just look at some of the alleged problems he's trying to hype up in an effort to weaken our nation!
Seriously. We have DONALD TRUMP in the white house and this is the moment he picks to spread his campaign of half-truths? Let's not even consider how these same charges have already been issued on RT. You can't convince me that Markos isn't a Putin Puppet... and I'm not buying the "stooge" line in his case. We need to censor that web site quickly for the good of the nation.
(There, did I do #Russiagate right?)

Remember when people complained about the debates
schedules and how they were on days when people would be watching something else and the one scheduled for the weekend before Xmas when many people would have been at Xmas parties?
Again we were told that we were making more of it then what it was?
It was just their blind stupidity to see that the primary was rigged. Jimmy Dore talked about the exit polls and how they didn't match up with the actual voting tallies. And then there were the crowd sizes. Bernie had to keep finding bigger places because they were too small. Hillary's only decent big one was when she first announced she was running. After that, when she bothered speaking to the little people, she could barely fill a room. Most of hers were private and cost thousands. A few of them had white noise machines to block out what she was saying.
Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?
All Kremlin Lies!!!
I can say that with some assuredness since I saw the same things reported by Lee Camp on RT.
Note: I feel compelled to point out here that my spelling correct wants to change "assuredness" into "absurdness".

Now I'm wondering how far Dem White House-infiltrating Google has gotten with that AI project, and whether they've managed to get to Trump yet or not... s/ (maybe)
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
Dore flat out calls Armando a "legitimate, unhinged mental case"
Funny, I could have sworn that he's meant to be a high-powered NYC lawyer.
Turns out he's just a garden variety conspiracy theorist... a Dead State no no.
That place is comedy gold.

The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive!

If I wanted credible representation in the particular branch of the law that he 'practices', the years of archived dribble from this known advocate on DailyKult would tend to make me look elsewhere.

You've hit the spot.
Well done.
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
Armando was an anti-trust attorney for Walmart....
outed by the NRO Online in 2006.
Caused quite a blogger kerfuffle at the time, and Armando, ever the victimized drama queen, posted a GBCW to DKos shortly thereafter.
As I recall, his absence didn't last long.
Unfortunately.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

He appears to be too stupid to see his irony
Who's to say that Obama didn't do just this?
He let republicans set his agenda, but his supporters continue to say that republicans blocked him from doing anything that would have helped main stream Americans. Theee most powerful person in the world couldn't find a way around republicans? Sure, I'll buy this. Not.
This article reminds me of when he wrote that Hillary was too much of a Clinton democrat when she ran against Obama. He listed the exact same things that we all wrote before we were banned that were called right wing talking points.
BTW, weren't we called names when we called out the debate schedules? I seem to remember this.
As this article states, France, Brazil and this country are not only going to slash taxes on the rich while gutting the social safety nets for lower income, elderly and disabled, but rip into the middle classes.
These actions in France and Brazil are being fought by citizens, but this country is focusing on the Russian propaganda.
ToP used to have diaries after diaries on this type of actions, but anything of importance is pushed off the wreck list because of new tabloid gossip about Trump, his cabinet and his family.
Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?
So Matt Taibbi came to his senses?
I hope he never stumbles like that again. I used to think he was the smartest guy in the room.
I traded him in for Jimmy Dore, so it's all good.
Not entirely to his senses
He still believes that Her would have won without all the rigging and fixing.
I'm not so sure.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
@TheOtherMaven Whether that's true or
I mean, for anybody who gives a shit about democracy, the rule of law, or the truth.

That line of theirs is arguably the most corrupt
"She cheated but she would've won anyway so all is good."
Say what? As you say, that line of reasoning pretty much says it all regarding the moral and ethical character of anyone who makes it.

She cheated but she would have won anyway...
So she didn't need to cheat to win, she cheated because it's fun?
"The greatest shortcoming of the human race is our inability to understand the exponential function." -- Albert Bartlett

Let's tell a different story
Yes Lance Armstrong was doping all along. But we've done a scientific analysis of his body and determined that even without the doping he still would've won. Therefor it's not a concern that he cheated.
The entire line of reasoning flat out states that the cheating itself is not relevant. The only relevant thing is winning.

Yes. Your link is the correct one
Thank you for correcting it for me. I don't know much about him, but his point is important.
While many people are focusing on Trump's stupid tweets all day and others are playing the Russian propaganda game, horrible legislation is being passed in the background noise and no one is noticing it.
Republicans undid or did not allow a lot of Obama's legislation to become law and not many people noticed.
They just reversed being able to sue banks and people now have to go through arbitration if they want to recover damages. This is huge
Again, I am wondering how much of this Russian bullshit on ToP is being pushed by Kos and his handlers?
Looking at it today, there are a few diaries that have the same type of bullet points in the headers.
One more thing I have noticed is that there a lot of users that have low IUDs and are said to have joined last decade, yet are now commenting. Funny though how since being a member for almost 14 years, some only have a few hundred comments.
Others have started pointing this out too.

The real SparkyGump has passed. It was an honor being your human.
Matt T. has been a major disappointment. I canceled my RS
subscription when they went all in for HRC. I still don't think Taibbi really gets what happened.
There seems to be a sneering contempt for Trump voters among the coastal elites. And it has not gone unnoticed in the middle of the country. They see the cover of The New Yorker even if they don't subscribe(and I also stopped my subscription for that reason). Read The Hillbilly Elegy for a clearer picture of Trump's voters.
At the rate we are going, 8 years of Trump is a real possibility.

It's hilarious how much Armando reminds me of a certain infamous Harry Potter BNF who was also a lawyer and loved to bully other fans online with her superior attitude. "Legitimate unhinged mental case" is far too kind ....
