Здравствуйте y’all. I have a question.
I have been a bit confused about this RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! crap ever since the Clinton Creature and her DNC minions started screeching that they stole the election for the crusty old crone. I have basically assumed that it has all been an act to cover for her humiliation because she couldn’t beat Donald Trump. BUT SINCE YESTERDAY I havevbegun to wonder if it wasn’t because she and the Obama Administration knew that the Republicans were going to find all kinds of goodies about Clinton and her shenanigans and they wanted to try to divert blame? As in:
FBI uncovered Russian bribery plot before Obama administration approved controversial nuclear deal with Moscow

Soooo, is this what all the RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! hysteria is all about?
EDIT: typos (2)

Other undisclosed embarrassments that "Russia" can obscure
Other undisclosed embarrassments that "Russiagate" smoke-blowing can directly or indirectly obscure include:
1. The extreme vulnerability of many voting and vote-tabulation systems to untraceable hacking. (Russiagate enables MSM to distract from and justify a pivot to covering, this scandal without admitting that they had long avoided covering it).
2. The extremely provocative US & NATO posture towards Russia ever since Gorbachev was promised by Poppy Bush and James Baker that NATO would not expand eastwards. (Russiagate, by framing the US-Russia relationship as too confrontational to permit tension-unwinding efforts, marginalizes any efforts to examine key steps that ratcheted up the tension).
3. Biggest of all: As China expands its sphere of influence, largely at the expense of the USA (although the USA would have limited ability to prevent this even without the numerous Keystone Cops incidents in the USA's foreign and domestic policy), the hyping of Russia's threats to the USA distracts from the inability of the USA's political leadership to avoid ceding influence to China. The single biggest factor (among those which USA could have substantially influenced) in the acceleration of China's rise in global political influence, is the USA's driving Russia away from the latter's logical path of allying with the USA as a counterbalance to China. George Keenan's description of NATO expansion as “the most fateful error of American policy in the entire post-cold-war era” may be equally applicable to the USA's broader hubris (much of it directly or indirectly directed at Russia) upon finding itself the sole superpower after the USSR's disintegration. By the time Russia-gate ceases to distract, the massive erosion of the USA's global influence will be 'water under the bridge' to everybody except those who might want to 'go out in a blaze' of nuclear explosions...
Can you explain this
As for the last part of your comment. I sure hope that this happens. It's part time for other countries to quit being accessories to our hegemony and global genocide.
Look at all the money we can save if countries kick our bases out of theirs. Enough for universal health care, free college tuition and repairing our infrastructures, rebuilding the national parks and who knows what else we could do with the money.

A circular pointing squad?
The Clintons made out rather well by selling in-the-ground uranium to Russia. O approved that deal
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
The biggest issue that has come from this is that
homeland security is now in charge of elections going forward. I don't know what, why or what difference it's going to make. If they say that it's to keep them safe from tampering, that horse left the bar decades ago. Gore actually DID win in 2000 and Kerry won in 2004, but we know what happened in Florida. Robert Kennedy Jr. had proof of the Ohio election being stolen, but I don't remember the details about why he didn't pursue it.
And of course there was the problems during the primary when exit polls didn't match up with the actual votes and all the other ways that the election was stolen from Bernie.
Hopefully this won't happen again with DHS being in charge.
/s
As emorej stated, Obama and NATO were putting troops and military equipment into countries that surround Russia over a year before the election. Brezinskie (DP?) and Bush 1 reneged on Reagan's deal of not expanding NATO in eastward almost before the ink wars dry on this after the Berlin Wall came down. (it could be Bush and Baker though as he stated).
Obama had been accusing everything he did on Russia. The 'aggression' in Ukraine, the little invasion in Syria and his many, many, many other military excursions.
This and the accusations of Russian interference with the election will give them their cover when their war starts and with Mueller, Facebook, Twitter and Google playing along, the mindless bots will be in favor of it. (Sigh)
Hillary knew that her emails were going to be a problem for her during the general election and that was why she wanted the media to help her play pied piper with Trump so that people would focus on his inane comments instead of others talking about them. This certainly seemed to have worked.
This is my $.02 of this RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA non stop bullshit!

Yeah that's an old Karl Rove trick,
"Obama promised transparency, but Assange is the one who brought it."
@snoopydawg
I dunno, all these Bush retreads make me nervous, especially where election integrity is concerned....
I'm probably just paranoid after Hillary's private server, etc., the Awans, and hearing it suggested that there were other, similar arrangements not yet looked into.

As stated, I'm probably just paranoid after Hillary's private server, etc., the Awans, and hearing it suggested that there were other, similarly odd arrangements not yet looked into.
And after the chronic and worsening electoral shenanigans, which includes Homeland Security pushing for access to State electoral systems, and even where requested access had been denied to them, scanning/attempting entry of said State electoral systems while elections were occurring (apparently without success) and later hearing that such attempts, traced back to Homeland Security, which attempts I suspect are those being attributed to a claimed attempted Russian electoral hack, serve as an excuse for Homeland Security seizing control of all electoral infrastructure immediately thereafter.
This looks pretty small potatoes and a Blanket Purchase Agreement from 2012 would have expired this year. And I suppose that these days everyone needs multiple jobs. Even if they involve groping and spying on other Americans...

I dunno, except that I have no faith in any part of the corrupt US government and the Bush Admin members flooding the joint in both official and unofficial capacities don't make me feel any more secure.
The President and others may keeping changing (despite Hillary's attempt for Her delayed Royal Coronation) but the agenda - and a number of the donors, staffers and more shadowy 'advisors' (such as Dick Cheney, et al) stay the same.
Edited because a note related to something I'd taken off somehow hadn't been taken off. Makes a change from any typos I haven't noticed yet. And again because I'd messed up block-quotes. Do wish I'd wake up at some point in the day...
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
The logic for Russia to ally with the USA included:
The logic for post-Soviet Russia to ally with the USA included the following:
>1. Post-Soviet Russia will always be more comfortable in a relatively multi-polar world, in which China does not surge past a free-falling USA to become a new sole superpower, which is a plausible scenario over a multi-decade time-frame. China's economy and domestic politics both have points of fragility, both can be analogized to a bicycle which must keep pedaling forward in order to avoid toppling, and both include examples of deferring reforms widely believed to be necessary, but China has continually avoided toppling during a period when the USA has been busily pissing away its industrial, moral and even military credibility. (Finance is too internationalized to have any loyalty to the USA, making it an illusion to believe that what's good for the big US-headquartered financial institutions is good for the USA.)
>2. Russia's resource-rich and thinly populated Far East is adjacent to overpopulated China, resulting in non-trivial numbers of Chinese moving into Russia, across a border which includes some disputed sections, and where relatively large military clashes occurred only a few decades ago. It is logical for the Russian Far East to cooperate with China, but this would be less risky for Russia if China's rise was slowed enough to retain somewhat of a relationship of equals.
>3. China's population, labor and industrialization all push for the content of China-Russian trade to mainly allocate to Russia the role of resource provider, even more than Russian trade with Europe (because Russian labor costs are lower than Europe's).
>4. Russian individuals who become rich from domestic corruption would, in a perfect world for them, be able to park wealth and families with confidence in friendly Western countries with high standards of living and deeply entrenched respect for private property. In contrast, China, although the living standards of its urban professional classes are rising, is understood by its own newly enriched players, and presumably also by their peers in Russia, to be, like Russia, a place where wealth is at risk of being seized as part of a change in political winds -- either by infighting between leadership factions or by a speculative-but-possible loss of power by the leadership as a whole.
Makes sense
A mind that does not detest bad government is foolish.
Excellent question.
At first, I thought it was another manifestation of Her's slim grip of reality.
Then, when the MSM went all-in, I believed it was to manufacture consent.
Now, I think it's projection.
Which means it's probably some combination of all three?
Oh the hypocrisy
The Clintons, of all people, to holler Russia, Russia...when the $hill didn't bother to campaign in MI nor WI. Not to mention their implicit involvement in meddling in Russia's election...
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2017/06/14/yelt-j14.html
So first of all...Clinton cheated Bernie then lost due to her no real platform/policies to appeal the working people, and her ineptitude as a candidate. Secondly she had been involved with Bill to swing the Russian election a decade before. And finally She and Bill were in bed with the Russians over the Uranium deal (and more).
It is beyond me how anyone buys into the Russia hacked our election narrative. They are not looking nor thinking.
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Well, GOS is discussing this now
After a thorough analysis of the article, they have decided that "anonymous sources" is not credible and they require actual evidence in order to believe the claim that Hillary colluded with Russia on the Uranium One deal. No, I'm not joking.
From the comment thread:
The author of the diary simply went with the notion of impugning the source rather than looking at the claims.
In short, in their eyes, this story is a big nothingburger because it's presented by known unreliable sources and it contains no externally verifiable evidence. WONDERFUL! Now, if we could only get them to turn that same critical eye on RussiaGate we might avoid WW3.
A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.
-- lotlizard
It is simply stunning how even though there is
of evidence that supports what the diarists are speaking of, those bots can always come up with some pretzelized way to get their brains to come up with a different conclusion. We saw this all through the Obama years when anyone dared to criticize his actions and during the primary when anyone pointed out the facts of Hillary's history.
But what do you expect from the people who have now decided that Bush wasn't that bad of a president?

Figures that’s what the folks at
Dullard Central would say.
Show them my post for today. That should wreck their afternoon. They can’t deny it this time.

This tidbit came as the result of a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch because the Clinton Creature and the DNC wouldn’t fess up and tell the truth.
Since she LOST I expect lots of ‘revelations’

Trolling is so fun
there is a diary that states that voter suppression is the reason why Trump won in Wisconsin.
Big pie fight ensues.........
Next we have comments that say that democrats need to address voter ID laws and call republicans out on this.
Of course no one can let go of the Russia-Comey interference. This will never die. Maybe if Rachel told them that Russia is innocent they would believe it...nah.
If I had a nickel for every time I've read that Democrats should do this if they want to win again, I could buy JP Morgan's island that is for sale for $125 million.
For years I saw that democratic voters had to stand in long lines for up to 8-10 hours because there were not enough machines in place. I too played this game of why didn't they get more machines until I figured out that they wanted people to stand in long lines so that they would eventually give up and not vote.

I can vote in their polls and I used to get emails
about crap like petitions and what was going on over there in Bizarro World (until I blocked them), but I can’t troll for myself because I got my posting ‘privileges’ taken away during the healthcare coverage hearings. (But if it hadn’t been that it would have been something else.)
I don’t do socks (but I admit I have given it some thought a time or two). I would really love to troll that crazy fool idiot who thinks she’s the last word on who’s a racist and thinks giving African-Americans a big chunk of money will make everything better and make history all go away. The one that screeches ‘racist’ every time someone says something that she doesn’t like. When she told me I had no right to comment on Obama I told her I most certainly did. He was marketed like a pop star in 16-Magazine what with photos all over the place with Hopey Changey to in bathing trunks running down the a beach. And that he was half white. GOOD TIMES I TELL YA!!!!
Is there a way to go back and see all that stuff? It was classic. And a LOT of fun.

"Obama promised transparency, but Assange is the one who brought it."
Plus they rose as one and gave McCain a standing ovation

Good grief, it's amazing how one's support for a hideous candidate and hatred for a person can cause people to lose all of their critical thinking skills.

Well.. it's possible, but
I always assumed it was to generate the war the military-industrial complex--in this case including the oil barons--wanted. Because we can't have Russia and China getting together and trading oil in rubles or yuan. And think how much money a war with Russia would generate for the weaponsmakers! And if we "won" (a ridiculous concept, actually, when you're talking about a fight between two nuclear-armed superpowers, but never mind) we could seize all that wonderful Russian oil for ourselves!
Probably only the craziest of them think we could take over Russia the way we did Iraq, actually, but having a war with them to preserve the petrodollar seems like a pretty plausible motivation for the elites.

Oh, good! Going by the title
Oh, good! Going by the title, I thought this was a Russian algebra test!
Personally, I think they're trying to transfer blame from the Clinton's actions onto the current war-drum beat and failed election excuse of the Clinton campaign's "Russia is everywhere and does all evil" strategy for the massive stack of bribes and rewards laundered into that multi-billion-dollar Slush Fundation from non-Russian-government bribes, paid in by those making a killing off of what's a better-publicized Clinton-related sales deal, of US strategic resources, (a reality going against her campaign's PR blame transfer to Russia narrative, that tying in with TPTB's interest of any excuse, however pathetic and bizarre, for attacking yet another country posing a non-threat to anyone but the global corporate/military hegemony in progress) which she and Bill facilitated/approved, when she was Secretary of State and busily acting against the public interest in that instance by selling off 20% of America's strategic uranium supplies when the US already lacked sufficient domestic supply for power generation.
Although I can't seem to find any of the wonderful and informative articles that used to be accessible on this one, at the time there seemed little heard about bribes/rewards potentially linked with the Russian government for this, beyond Bill's record-setting half-million speaking fee. And I've been pretty darned tired and groggy of late and can't recall enough details except that I feel pretty darned sure that there was a lot more 'donor' money involved than I'm seeing claimed in the 'RUSSIA!!! made Her do it' articles all over the internet now.
(As will later be seen, if the link is followed to the Tyler Durden article at bottom, containing Ortel's Executive Summary, large discrepancies have been noted between what donors said they'd donated and what's been reported [it seems that much isn't, or is grudgingly reported much later, sometimes having been tallied as something other than a donation to avoid having to report it as such, the Foundation having illegitimately been accorded 'charity status' without qualifying as such, 'since rules/laws do not apply to Those Who Matter'] as their donations to the Clinton Foundation, which has yet to be audited - or legitimized as a charity at all. So accumulated annual amounts estimated as having been given can vary wildly, depending on information used in different articles, adding to confusion.
In another instance given below as example, billionaire Frank Giustra (also, as we know, one of those involved in and enormously profiting from the US uranium mine sale being now seemingly being presented as 'The Russians pressured the Clintons into it',) alone donated over 30 million for, and publicly promised at one point to donate a hundred million more to, the Clinton Slush Fundation, while other investors also benefiting added millions more.
But pay to play is the Clinton's way and they certainly received massive rewards from a number of foreign governments. Including the repressive human-rights-abusing President of '...Kazakhstan, a former Soviet republic. ...' And it seems to me that political favours, such as supporting a repressive regime and promoting, via speaking in favour of it with ex-US-Presidential influence, that human-rights abuser '...to head an international organization that monitors elections and supports democracy ...' in return for that lucrative-for-the-Clintons deal being passed, is by far the worse crime.
But such as he doesn't seem to be anything like a 'Russian!!!' of great concern, since he did nothing for his people, unlike Putin, who at least provides (however lousy it's said to be) health care as well as ensuring pensions for his people, even if he has to cut the military budget with armies massing on Russia's border.
I'd suggest reading this in full at source while it's there, as any rehabilitation of Bill Clinton, as is ongoing in Hillary censorship and propaganda, could cause this to be altered or make it very hard to find, or disappear.

Regarding the diluted and toxic AIDS drug scam charitably hazarding the lives of victims in poor countries that caught the billionaire's attention and "changed his life":
https://www.naturalnews.com/055445_Clinton_Foundation_AIDS_drugs_corrupt...
They made a killing and so far have always got away with murder, what do they care? But the billionaire who was so intrigued and interested in making more money that he invested so very heavily in the Clintons, went into philanthropic partnership together with Bill, forming the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, which will be one of a number of Clinton charitable efforts not to be affected by the minimal restriction to be
ignoredtechnically imposed, if President Hillary occurs. (In which case, Bill gets to be in charge of the economy, according to a statement previously made by Hillary.)(Emphasis mine.)

And this covers some of what I believe Hillary is hoping can be covered up and distracted from by shrieking Russia!!! and using censorship and propaganda. Certainly, her national security-hazarding private unsecured server, her emails and their contents are not being as heavily discussed either. Nor are Trump's destructive acts toward the entirely unrestrained poisoning and looting of America and the world by their various paymasters.
Why else would she be bringing up her appalling Secretary of State approval of a self-interested nuclear deal disposing of 20% of America's already inadequate-for-power-generation nuclear resources to another country she now wishes to attack militarily, setting the stage with Big Lie propaganda and censorship directed at American citizens, if she doesn't think that she can con the susceptible serfs into believing that the Russians somehow pressured her and others responsible for that approval of the sale so that it Wasn't Her Fault? It's Never Her Fault. It's Everyone Else's, unless The Plan calls for a specific target to blame, to take them down, for Her benefit.
Attention needs to be drawn to such information sources as those above before the ongoing censorship being imposed takes it down and replaces it with more propaganda.
