Здравствуйте y’all. I have a question.

I have been a bit confused about this RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! crap ever since the Clinton Creature and her DNC minions started screeching that they stole the election for the crusty old crone. I have basically assumed that it has all been an act to cover for her humiliation because she couldn’t beat Donald Trump. BUT SINCE YESTERDAY I havevbegun to wonder if it wasn’t because she and the Obama Administration knew that the Republicans were going to find all kinds of goodies about Clinton and her shenanigans and they wanted to try to divert blame? As in:

FBI uncovered Russian bribery plot before Obama administration approved controversial nuclear deal with Moscow

Soooo, is this what all the RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! hysteria is all about?

EDIT: typos (2)

Other undisclosed embarrassments that "Russiagate" smoke-blowing can directly or indirectly obscure include:

1. The extreme vulnerability of many voting and vote-tabulation systems to untraceable hacking. (Russiagate enables MSM to distract from and justify a pivot to covering, this scandal without admitting that they had long avoided covering it).

2. The extremely provocative US & NATO posture towards Russia ever since Gorbachev was promised by Poppy Bush and James Baker that NATO would not expand eastwards. (Russiagate, by framing the US-Russia relationship as too confrontational to permit tension-unwinding efforts, marginalizes any efforts to examine key steps that ratcheted up the tension).

3. Biggest of all: As China expands its sphere of influence, largely at the expense of the USA (although the USA would have limited ability to prevent this even without the numerous Keystone Cops incidents in the USA's foreign and domestic policy), the hyping of Russia's threats to the USA distracts from the inability of the USA's political leadership to avoid ceding influence to China. The single biggest factor (among those which USA could have substantially influenced) in the acceleration of China's rise in global political influence, is the USA's driving Russia away from the latter's logical path of allying with the USA as a counterbalance to China. George Keenan's description of NATO expansion as “the most fateful error of American policy in the entire post-cold-war era” may be equally applicable to the USA's broader hubris (much of it directly or indirectly directed at Russia) upon finding itself the sole superpower after the USSR's disintegration. By the time Russia-gate ceases to distract, the massive erosion of the USA's global influence will be 'water under the bridge' to everybody except those who might want to 'go out in a blaze' of nuclear explosions...

As for the last part of your comment. I sure hope that this happens. It's part time for other countries to quit being accessories to our hegemony and global genocide.
Look at all the money we can save if countries kick our bases out of theirs. Enough for universal health care, free college tuition and repairing our infrastructures, rebuilding the national parks and who knows what else we could do with the money.

homeland security is now in charge of elections going forward. I don't know what, why or what difference it's going to make. If they say that it's to keep them safe from tampering, that horse left the bar decades ago. Gore actually DID win in 2000 and Kerry won in 2004, but we know what happened in Florida. Robert Kennedy Jr. had proof of the Ohio election being stolen, but I don't remember the details about why he didn't pursue it.
And of course there was the problems during the primary when exit polls didn't match up with the actual votes and all the other ways that the election was stolen from Bernie.
Hopefully this won't happen again with DHS being in charge.
/s

As emorej stated, Obama and NATO were putting troops and military equipment into countries that surround Russia over a year before the election. Brezinskie (DP?) and Bush 1 reneged on Reagan's deal of not expanding NATO in eastward almost before the ink wars dry on this after the Berlin Wall came down. (it could be Bush and Baker though as he stated).
Obama had been accusing everything he did on Russia. The 'aggression' in Ukraine, the little invasion in Syria and his many, many, many other military excursions.
This and the accusations of Russian interference with the election will give them their cover when their war starts and with Mueller, Facebook, Twitter and Google playing along, the mindless bots will be in favor of it. (Sigh)

Hillary knew that her emails were going to be a problem for her during the general election and that was why she wanted the media to help her play pied piper with Trump so that people would focus on his inane comments instead of others talking about them. This certainly seemed to have worked.

This is my $.02 of this RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA non stop bullshit!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Secretary_of_Homeland_Security

The United States Secretary of Homeland Security is the head of the United States Department of Homeland Security, the body concerned with protecting the U.S. and the safety of U.S. citizens. The secretary is a member of the President's Cabinet. The position was created by the Homeland Security Act following the attacks of September 11, 2001. The new department consisted primarily of components transferred from other cabinet departments because of their role in homeland security, such as the Coast Guard, the Federal Protective Service, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (which includes the Border Patrol), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (which includes Homeland Security Investigations), the Secret Service, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). It did not, however, include the FBI or the CIA.[3]

On January 20, 2009, the Senate confirmed Barack Obama's appointment of Janet Napolitano to be the third Secretary of Homeland Security,[4] effective January 21, 2009.[5] Napolitano resigned effective August 2013 to head the University of California. On October 17, President Obama announced his intention to nominate former General Counsel of the Department of Defense Jeh Johnson, and on December 16, the US Senate confirmed the nomination.[6]

The current Acting Secretary of Homeland Security is Elaine Duke following the appointment of the then-incumbent secretary, John F. Kelly, to the post of White House Chief of Staff by President Donald Trump.[7] It was announced on October 12, 2017, that Kirstjen Nielsen was nominated as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security by President Donald Trump. She requires a Senate approval before being officially confirmed.[8] ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_Duke

Elaine Costanzo Duke (born 1958) is an American civil servant who is the current Acting United States Secretary of Homeland Security. On January 30, 2017, she was nominated by President Donald Trump to become the United States Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security under John F. Kelly. She became acting Secretary of Homeland Security on July 31, 2017,[1] when John F. Kelly assumed the office of White House Chief of Staff.[2]
...

...Duke held a consulting practice at Elaine Duke & Associates, LLC in Woodbridge, Virginia.[5]

Duke served as Under Secretary of Homeland Security for Management at the department under both presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama from July 2008 to April 2010.[6][7] She has more than 28 years of experience with the federal government.[8]
United States Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security

On January 30, 2017, President Donald Trump announced that he would nominate Duke as United States Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security.[8] Duke's nomination received a hearing before the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on March 8, 2017.[9] On March 15, 2017, her nomination was reported to the United States Senate.[10] On April 4, 2017, she was confirmed by a vote of 85–14.[11]
Acting United States Secretary of Homeland Security

After John F. Kelly was named White House Chief of Staff on July 28, 2017, Duke was named Acting Secretary of Homeland Security.

In September 2017, in the wake of Hurricane Maria, Duke made the decision to waive the Jones Act for ten days, which requires goods shipped between points in the U.S. to be carried by vessels built, owned, and operated by Americans. The waiving of the act allows foreign nations to bring aid to Puerto Rico.[12]

During a White House news conference regarding Hurricane Maria, Duke said the government response to Hurricane Maria was "a good news story." San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz responded, "This is not a good news story. This is a 'people are dying' story."[13][14][15] Duke then traveled to Puerto Rico, met with officials at the San Juan International Airport and clarified her earlier remark by stating, "there's much more work to do, and we will never be satisfied."[16

(Bolding mine)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirstjen_Nielsen

Kirstjen Michele Nielsen (born May 14, 1972)[1] is an American government official and national security expert who has served as Principal Deputy White House Chief of Staff to President Donald Trump since September 6, 2017.[2] Nielsen was nominated on October 11, 2017 to be Secretary of Homeland Security and officially announced by President Trump on October 12, 2017 that she would serve as the next Secretary of Homeland Security.[3][4]
...

...Early career

Before serving in the Trump administration, she was a senior fellow and member of the Resilience Task Force of the Center for Cyber & Homeland Security think tank at George Washington University and served on the Global Risks Report Advisory Board of the World Economic Forum.

Nielsen served during the George W. Bush administration as special assistant to the president and as senior director for prevention, preparedness and response at the White House Homeland Security Council. She also set-up and led the Transportation Security Administration's Office of Legislative Policy and Government Affairs.

Nielsen is the founder and former President of Sunesis Consulting.[6] Sunesis was awarded numerous government contracts under President Obama's administration. [7]
Deputy Chief of Staff

Nielsen previously served as Elaine Duke's Chief of Staff at the Department of Homeland Security.[8] She has informally performed the role of White House Deputy Chief of Staff since John F. Kelly assumed the office of White House Chief of Staff on July 31, 2017, at which point Duke became acting Secretary of Homeland Security.[9][10]
Secretary of Homeland Security nomination

On October 11, 2017, President Donald Trump nominated Nielsen to be the new United States Secretary of Homeland Security, replacing Elaine Duke.[3][4]

As stated, I'm probably just paranoid after Hillary's private server, etc., the Awans, and hearing it suggested that there were other, similarly odd arrangements not yet looked into.

And after the chronic and worsening electoral shenanigans, which includes Homeland Security pushing for access to State electoral systems, and even where requested access had been denied to them, scanning/attempting entry of said State electoral systems while elections were occurring (apparently without success) and later hearing that such attempts, traced back to Homeland Security, which attempts I suspect are those being attributed to a claimed attempted Russian electoral hack, serve as an excuse for Homeland Security seizing control of all electoral infrastructure immediately thereafter.

This looks pretty small potatoes and a Blanket Purchase Agreement from 2012 would have expired this year. And I suppose that these days everyone needs multiple jobs. Even if they involve groping and spying on other Americans...

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

The logic for post-Soviet Russia to ally with the USA included the following:
>1. Post-Soviet Russia will always be more comfortable in a relatively multi-polar world, in which China does not surge past a free-falling USA to become a new sole superpower, which is a plausible scenario over a multi-decade time-frame. China's economy and domestic politics both have points of fragility, both can be analogized to a bicycle which must keep pedaling forward in order to avoid toppling, and both include examples of deferring reforms widely believed to be necessary, but China has continually avoided toppling during a period when the USA has been busily pissing away its industrial, moral and even military credibility. (Finance is too internationalized to have any loyalty to the USA, making it an illusion to believe that what's good for the big US-headquartered financial institutions is good for the USA.)
>2. Russia's resource-rich and thinly populated Far East is adjacent to overpopulated China, resulting in non-trivial numbers of Chinese moving into Russia, across a border which includes some disputed sections, and where relatively large military clashes occurred only a few decades ago. It is logical for the Russian Far East to cooperate with China, but this would be less risky for Russia if China's rise was slowed enough to retain somewhat of a relationship of equals.
>3. China's population, labor and industrialization all push for the content of China-Russian trade to mainly allocate to Russia the role of resource provider, even more than Russian trade with Europe (because Russian labor costs are lower than Europe's).
>4. Russian individuals who become rich from domestic corruption would, in a perfect world for them, be able to park wealth and families with confidence in friendly Western countries with high standards of living and deeply entrenched respect for private property. In contrast, China, although the living standards of its urban professional classes are rising, is understood by its own newly enriched players, and presumably also by their peers in Russia, to be, like Russia, a place where wealth is at risk of being seized as part of a change in political winds -- either by infighting between leadership factions or by a speculative-but-possible loss of power by the leadership as a whole.

The Clintons, of all people, to holler Russia, Russia...when the $hill didn't bother to campaign in MI nor WI. Not to mention their implicit involvement in meddling in Russia's election...

In 1996, the White House and President Bill Clinton personally mounted a massive campaign to secure the reelection of Boris Yeltsin, whose comprador regime had been installed in the first place to oversee the dissolution of the Soviet Union and restoration of capitalism.
....
US political operatives were sent to Russia to rescue Yeltsin from likely political defeat. Far from concealing this intervention, the American ruling elite boasted of its success after Yeltsin’s victory. Time magazine made it the cover story of its July 15, 1996 edition.

So first of all...Clinton cheated Bernie then lost due to her no real platform/policies to appeal the working people, and her ineptitude as a candidate. Secondly she had been involved with Bill to swing the Russian election a decade before. And finally She and Bill were in bed with the Russians over the Uranium deal (and more).

It is beyond me how anyone buys into the Russia hacked our election narrative. They are not looking nor thinking.

After a thorough analysis of the article, they have decided that "anonymous sources" is not credible and they require actual evidence in order to believe the claim that Hillary colluded with Russia on the Uranium One deal. No, I'm not joking.

From the comment thread:

Anyone wit a little bit of sense and shrewdness would have seen that his “expose” is devoid of sources and background. He just makes assumptions. On reading it I looked him up and realized it was a propaganda piece. The right needs to grow up.

The author of the diary simply went with the notion of impugning the source rather than looking at the claims.

Long story short, John Solomon has been carrying water for right wingers for more than a decade.

In short, in their eyes, this story is a big nothingburger because it's presented by known unreliable sources and it contains no externally verifiable evidence. WONDERFUL! Now, if we could only get them to turn that same critical eye on RussiaGate we might avoid WW3.

If I had a nickel for every time I've read that Democrats should do this if they want to win again, I could buy JP Morgan's island that is for sale for $125 million.
For years I saw that democratic voters had to stand in long lines for up to 8-10 hours because there were not enough machines in place. I too played this game of why didn't they get more machines until I figured out that they wanted people to stand in long lines so that they would eventually give up and not vote.

I always assumed it was to generate the war the military-industrial complex--in this case including the oil barons--wanted. Because we can't have Russia and China getting together and trading oil in rubles or yuan. And think how much money a war with Russia would generate for the weaponsmakers! And if we "won" (a ridiculous concept, actually, when you're talking about a fight between two nuclear-armed superpowers, but never mind) we could seize all that wonderful Russian oil for ourselves!

Probably only the craziest of them think we could take over Russia the way we did Iraq, actually, but having a war with them to preserve the petrodollar seems like a pretty plausible motivation for the elites.

Oh, good! Going by the title, I thought this was a Russian algebra test!

Personally, I think they're trying to transfer blame from the Clinton's actions onto the current war-drum beat and failed election excuse of the Clinton campaign's "Russia is everywhere and does all evil" strategy for the massive stack of bribes and rewards laundered into that multi-billion-dollar Slush Fundation from non-Russian-government bribes, paid in by those making a killing off of what's a better-publicized Clinton-related sales deal, of US strategic resources, (a reality going against her campaign's PR blame transfer to Russia narrative, that tying in with TPTB's interest of any excuse, however pathetic and bizarre, for attacking yet another country posing a non-threat to anyone but the global corporate/military hegemony in progress) which she and Bill facilitated/approved, when she was Secretary of State and busily acting against the public interest in that instance by selling off 20% of America's strategic uranium supplies when the US already lacked sufficient domestic supply for power generation.

Although I can't seem to find any of the wonderful and informative articles that used to be accessible on this one, at the time there seemed little heard about bribes/rewards potentially linked with the Russian government for this, beyond Bill's record-setting half-million speaking fee. And I've been pretty darned tired and groggy of late and can't recall enough details except that I feel pretty darned sure that there was a lot more 'donor' money involved than I'm seeing claimed in the 'RUSSIA!!! made Her do it' articles all over the internet now.

(As will later be seen, if the link is followed to the Tyler Durden article at bottom, containing Ortel's Executive Summary, large discrepancies have been noted between what donors said they'd donated and what's been reported [it seems that much isn't, or is grudgingly reported much later, sometimes having been tallied as something other than a donation to avoid having to report it as such, the Foundation having illegitimately been accorded 'charity status' without qualifying as such, 'since rules/laws do not apply to Those Who Matter'] as their donations to the Clinton Foundation, which has yet to be audited - or legitimized as a charity at all. So accumulated annual amounts estimated as having been given can vary wildly, depending on information used in different articles, adding to confusion.

In another instance given below as example, billionaire Frank Giustra (also, as we know, one of those involved in and enormously profiting from the US uranium mine sale being now seemingly being presented as 'The Russians pressured the Clintons into it',) alone donated over 30 million for, and publicly promised at one point to donate a hundred million more to, the Clinton Slush Fundation, while other investors also benefiting added millions more.

But pay to play is the Clinton's way and they certainly received massive rewards from a number of foreign governments. Including the repressive human-rights-abusing President of '...Kazakhstan, a former Soviet republic. ...' And it seems to me that political favours, such as supporting a repressive regime and promoting, via speaking in favour of it with ex-US-Presidential influence, that human-rights abuser '...to head an international organization that monitors elections and supports democracy ...' in return for that lucrative-for-the-Clintons deal being passed, is by far the worse crime.

But such as he doesn't seem to be anything like a 'Russian!!!' of great concern, since he did nothing for his people, unlike Putin, who at least provides (however lousy it's said to be) health care as well as ensuring pensions for his people, even if he has to cut the military budget with armies massing on Russia's border.

I'd suggest reading this in full at source while it's there, as any rehabilitation of Bill Clinton, as is ongoing in Hillary censorship and propaganda, could cause this to be altered or make it very hard to find, or disappear.

After Mining Deal, Financier Donated to Clinton

By JO BECKER and DON VAN NATTA Jr.JAN. 31, 2008

Late on Sept. 6, 2005, a private plane carrying the Canadian mining financier Frank Giustra touched down in Almaty, a ruggedly picturesque city in southeast Kazakhstan. Several hundred miles to the west a fortune awaited: highly coveted deposits of uranium that could fuel nuclear reactors around the world. And Mr. Giustra was in hot pursuit of an exclusive deal to tap them.

Unlike more established competitors, Mr. Giustra was a newcomer to uranium mining in Kazakhstan, a former Soviet republic. But what his fledgling company lacked in experience, it made up for in connections. Accompanying Mr. Giustra on his luxuriously appointed MD-87 jet that day was a former president of the United States, Bill Clinton.

Upon landing on the first stop of a three-country philanthropic tour, the two men were whisked off to share a sumptuous midnight banquet with Kazakhstan’s president, Nursultan A. Nazarbayev, whose 19-year stranglehold on the country has all but quashed political dissent.

Mr. Nazarbayev walked away from the table with a propaganda coup, after Mr. Clinton expressed enthusiastic support for the Kazakh leader’s bid to head an international organization that monitors elections and supports democracy. Mr. Clinton’s public declaration undercut both American foreign policy and sharp criticism of Kazakhstan’s poor human rights record by, among others, Mr. Clinton’s wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

Within two days, corporate records show that Mr. Giustra also came up a winner when his company signed preliminary agreements giving it the right to buy into three uranium projects controlled by Kazakhstan’s state-owned uranium agency, Kazatomprom.

The monster deal stunned the mining industry, turning an unknown shell company into one of the world’s largest uranium producers in a transaction ultimately worth tens of millions of dollars to Mr. Giustra, analysts said.

Just months after the Kazakh pact was finalized, Mr. Clinton’s charitable foundation received its own windfall: a $31.3 million donation from Mr. Giustra that had remained a secret until he acknowledged it last month. The gift, combined with Mr. Giustra’s more recent and public pledge to give the William J. Clinton Foundation an additional $100 million, secured Mr. Giustra a place in Mr. Clinton’s inner circle, an exclusive club of wealthy entrepreneurs in which friendship with the former president has its privileges.

Mr. Giustra was invited to accompany the former president to Almaty just as the financier was trying to seal a deal he had been negotiating for months. ...

... Mr. Giustra made his fortune in mining ventures as a broker on the Vancouver Stock Exchange, raising billions of dollars and developing a loyal following of investors. Just as the mining sector collapsed, Mr. Giustra, a lifelong film buff, founded the Lion’s Gate Entertainment Corporation in 1997. But he sold the studio in 2003 and returned to mining.

Mr. Giustra foresaw a bull market in gold and began investing in mines in Argentina, Australia and Mexico. He turned a $20 million shell company into a powerhouse that, after a $2.4 billion merger with Goldcorp Inc., became Canada’s second-largest gold company.

With a net worth estimated in the hundreds of millions of dollars, Mr. Giustra began looking for ways to put his wealth to good use. Meeting Mr. Clinton, and learning about the work his foundation was doing on issues like AIDS treatment in poor countries, “changed my life,” Mr. Giustra told The Vancouver Sun. ...

...Philanthropy may have become his passion, but Mr. Giustra, now 50, was still hunting for ways to make money.

Exploding demand for energy had helped revitalize the nuclear power industry, and uranium, the raw material for reactor fuel, was about to become a hot commodity. In late 2004, Mr. Giustra began talking to investors, and put together a company that would eventually be called UrAsia Energy Ltd.

Kazakhstan, which has about one-fifth of the world’s uranium reserves, was the place to be. But with plenty of suitors, Kazatomprom could be picky about its partners.

“Everyone was asking Kazatomprom to the dance,” said Fadi Shadid, a senior stock analyst covering the uranium industry for Friedman Billings Ramsey, an investment bank. “A second-tier junior player like UrAsia — you’d need all the help you could get.” ...

...“Timing was everything,” said Sergey Kurzin, a Russian-born businessman whose London-based company was brought into the deal by UrAsia because of his connections in Kazakhstan. Even with those connections, Mr. Kurzin said, it took four months to arrange a meeting with Kazatomprom.

In August 2005, records show, the company sent an engineering consultant to Kazakhstan to assess the uranium properties. Less than four weeks later, Mr. Giustra arrived with Mr. Clinton.

Mr. Dzhakishev, the Kazatomprom chief, said an aide to Mr. Nazarbayev informed him that Mr. Giustra talked with Mr. Nazarbayev about the deal during the visit. “And when our president asked Giustra, ‘What do you do?’ he said, ‘I’m trying to do business with Kazatomprom,’ ” Mr. Dzhakishev said. He added that Mr. Nazarbayev replied, “Very good, go to it.”

Mr. Clinton’s Kazakhstan visit, the only one of his post-presidency, appears to have been arranged hastily. The United States Embassy got last-minute notice that the president would be making “a private visit,” said a State Department official, who said he was not authorized to speak on the record.

The publicly stated reason for the visit was to announce a Clinton Foundation agreement that enabled the government to buy discounted AIDS drugs. But during a news conference, Mr. Clinton wandered into delicate territory by commending Mr. Nazarbayev for “opening up the social and political life of your country.”

In a statement Kazakhstan would highlight in news releases, Mr. Clinton declared that he hoped it would achieve a top objective: leading the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which would confer legitimacy on Mr. Nazarbayev’s government.

“I think it’s time for that to happen, it’s an important step, and I’m glad you’re willing to undertake it,” Mr. Clinton said.

A Speedy Process

Mr. Clinton’s praise was odd, given that the United States did not support Mr. Nazarbayev’s bid. (Late last year, Kazakhstan finally won the chance to lead the security organization for one year, despite concerns raised by the Bush administration. Moreover, Mr. Clinton’s wife, who sits on a Congressional commission with oversight of such matters, had also voiced skepticism.) ...

...Indeed, in December 2005, Mr. Nazarbayev won another election, which the security organization itself said was marred by an “atmosphere of intimidation” and “ballot-box stuffing.”

After Mr. Nazarbayev won with 91 percent of the vote, Mr. Clinton sent his congratulations. “Recognizing that your work has received an excellent grade is one of the most important rewards in life,” Mr. Clinton wrote in a letter released by the Kazakh embassy. Last September, just weeks after Kazakhstan held an election that once again failed to meet international standards, Mr. Clinton honored Mr. Nazarbayev by inviting him to his annual philanthropic conference.

Within 48 hours of Mr. Clinton’s departure from Almaty on Sept. 7, Mr. Giustra got his deal. UrAsia signed two memorandums of understanding that paved the way for the company to become partners with Kazatomprom in three mines. ...

...Longtime market watchers were confounded. Kazatomprom’s choice of UrAsia was a “mystery,” said Gene Clark, the chief executive of Trade Tech, a uranium industry newsletter.

“UrAsia was able to jump-start the whole process somehow,” Mr. Clark said. The company became a “major uranium producer when it didn’t even exist before.”

A Profitable Sale

Records show that Mr. Giustra donated the $31.3 million to the Clinton Foundation in the months that followed in 2006, but neither he nor a spokesman for Mr. Clinton would say exactly when.

In September 2006, Mr. Giustra co-produced a gala 60th birthday for Mr. Clinton that featured stars like Jon Bon Jovi and raised about $21 million for the Clinton Foundation.

In February 2007, a company called Uranium One agreed to pay $3.1 billion to acquire UrAsia. Mr. Giustra, a director and major shareholder in UrAsia, would be paid $7.05 per share for a company that just two years earlier was trading at 10 cents per share.

That same month, Mr. Dzhakishev, the Kazatomprom chief, said he traveled to Chappaqua, N.Y., to meet with Mr. Clinton at his home. Mr. Dzhakishev said Mr. Giustra arranged the three-hour meeting. Mr. Dzhakishev said he wanted to discuss Kazakhstan’s intention — not publicly known at the time — to buy a 10 percent stake in Westinghouse, a United States supplier of nuclear technology.

Nearly a year earlier, Mr. Clinton had advised Dubai on how to handle the political furor after one of that nation’s companies attempted to take over several American ports. Mrs. Clinton was among those on Capitol Hill who raised the national security concerns that helped kill the deal.

Mr. Dzhakishev said he was worried the proposed Westinghouse investment could face similar objections. Mr. Clinton told him that he would not lobby for him, but Mr. Dzhakishev came away pleased by the chance to promote his nation’s proposal to a former president.

Mr. Clinton “said this was very important for America,” said Mr. Dzhakishev, who added that Mr. Giustra was present at Mr. Clinton’s home.

Both Mr. Clinton and Mr. Giustra at first denied that any such meeting occurred. Mr. Giustra also denied ever arranging for Kazakh officials to meet with Mr. Clinton. Wednesday, after The Times told them that others said a meeting, in Mr. Clinton’s home, had in fact taken place, both men acknowledged it. ...

Clinton Foundation caught giving watered down AIDS drugs to third world countries

Tags: Clinton Foundation, AIDS drugs, corruption

...Under a program begun by former President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, officials distributed "watered-down" HIV/AIDS drugs to sick patients in sub-Saharan Africa, which "likely increased" their risk of dying, according to a draft congressional report The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained.

Titled, "The Clinton Foundation and the India Success Story," the congressional report was initiated by Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., who is vice chairperson of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. The CHAI program to assist AIDS victims has been considered to be a fundamental force for good within the Clinton Foundation and is very probably the organization's most notable initiative.

The congressional reported centered on Clinton's 10-plus-year relationship with a controversial India-based drug maker called Ranbaxy. CHAI used the company as one of its main distributors of HIV/AIDS medications to poor countries.

Undermining the integrity of approval process

The report also focused on the work of Dinesh Thakur, a former Ranbaxy employee who became a big-time whistleblower when he provided information to the U.S. government, which led to a landmark lawsuit against the Indian pharmaceutical company. Because the company also sold generic drugs in the United States, it was subject to U.S. regulations and prosecution for violations.

Ultimately, in 2013 the company pleaded guilty to seven criminal counts with intent to defraud and to introducing adulterated medications into interstate commerce. "Adulterated" is when a drug "fails to conform to compendial standards of quality, strength or purity," according to the Food and Drug Administration.

In addition, the Department of Justice levied a fine against the company of $500 million, as well as forfeiture.

As noted by The Daily Caller, U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, Rod J. Rosenstein, said at the time of Ranbaxy's guilty plea the case represented "the largest false claims case ever prosecuted" in his district, as well as the "nation's largest financial penalty paid by a generic pharmaceutical company."

"When companies sell adulterated drugs, they undermine the integrity of the FDA's approval process and may cause patients to take drugs that are substandard, ineffective, or unsafe," added Stuart F. Delery, the acting assistant attorney general for the civil division of the Justice Department, after the U.S. government made its announcement regarding Ranbaxy's case.

In its final settlement, the Department of Justice stated that, "allegedly due to the company's diluted drugs, it 'subjected patients to increased risks of morbidity and mortality,'" the congressional report noted. ...

...As for Blackburn, she said she is planning to hand the report over to the inspector general's offices of the Department of Health and Human Services and the State Department, where Hillary Clinton served during President Obama's first term.

In addition to findings of adulterated drug distribution, the report also shined a light on unseemly ties between Bill Clinton and a pair of highly controversial Indian-Americans who have fallen under investigation by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Perhaps what is most problematic for the Clinton charity is its enthusiastic promotion of Ranbaxy, even though the Indian pharmaceutical giant persistently distributes poor-quality drugs, and covers for their faulty products with fraudulent reporting to the FDA.

They made a killing and so far have always got away with murder, what do they care? But the billionaire who was so intrigued and interested in making more money that he invested so very heavily in the Clintons, went into philanthropic partnership together with Bill, forming the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, which will be one of a number of Clinton charitable efforts not to be affected by the minimal restriction to be ignored technically imposed, if President Hillary occurs. (In which case, Bill gets to be in charge of the economy, according to a statement previously made by Hillary.)

Clinton corruption: 10 facts about the Clinton Foundation

October 1, 2016

Just a few weeks back we introduced you to the work of Wall Street analyst Charles Ortel who spent the past year and a half digging into the Clinton Foundation and subsequently labeled it as a “Charity Fraud Of Epic Proportions” (see our full post on the findings here: ““Clinton Foundation Is Charity Fraud Of Epic Proportions”, Analyst Charges In Stunning Takedown“).

As many of our readers know, Ortel is the analyst that uncovered financial discrepancies at General Electric before its stock crashed in 2008, and was described by the Sunday Times of London as “one of the finest analysts of financial statements on the planet” in a 2009 story detailing the troubles at AIG.

After a year and a half of looking into the Clinton Foundation, Ortel summarized his findings as follows:
“An educated guess, based upon ongoing analysis of the public record begun in February 2015, is that the Clinton Foundation entities are part of a network that has defrauded donors and created illegal private gains of approximately $100 billion in combined magnitude, and possibly more, since 23 October 1997.”

With that, here’s 10 more things that the Trump campaign thinks you should know about the Clinton Foundation.

* * *

Here Are Ten Facts Everyone Should Know About The Massive Conflict Of Interest And Corruption Issues Facing The Clinton Foundation. ...

...FACT FOUR – The Clinton Foundation Accepted Millions From Other Foreign Sources While Clinton Served As Secretary Of State:

“More Than 40 Percent Of The Top Donors To The Clinton Foundation Are Based In Foreign Countries.” “More than 40 percent of the top donors to the Clinton Foundation are based in foreign countries, according to an analysis by McClatchy.” (Anita Kumar, “Clinton Foundation Limits Foreign Donations,” McClatchy, 4/15/15)

According To The Wall Street Journal, While The Clinton Foundation “Swore Off Donations From Foreign Governments,” It Was Still Raising Millions From “Foreigners With Connections To Their Home Governments. “The Clinton Foundation swore off donations from foreign governments when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state. That didn’t stop the foundation from raising millions of dollars from foreigners with connections to their home governments, a review of foundation disclosures shows.” (James Grimaldi and Rebecca Ballhaus, “Clinton Charity Tapped Foreign Friends,” The Wall Street Journal, 3/19/15)

While Bill Clinton Promised The Obama Administration To Stop Accepting Money From Foreign Governments, The Agreement Did Not “Place Limits On Donations From Foreign Individuals Or Corporations.” “Former President Bill Clinton promised the Obama administration the foundation wouldn’t accept most foreign-government donations while his wife was secretary of state. The agreement didn’t place limits on donations from foreign individuals or corporations.” (James Grimaldi and Rebecca Ballhaus, “Clinton Charity Tapped Foreign Friends,” The Wall Street Journal, 3/19/15)

The Donors Have Personal, Familial, And Business Ties To Foreign Governments. “Some donors have direct ties to foreign governments. One is a member of the Saudi royal family. Another is a Ukrainian oligarch and former parliamentarian. Others are individuals with close connections to foreign governments that stem from their business activities. Their professed policy interests range from human rights to U.S.-Cuba relations.” (James Grimaldi and Rebecca Ballhaus, “Clinton Charity Tapped Foreign Friends,” The Wall Street Journal, 3/19/15)

During Clinton’s Tenure At The State Department, Foreign Donors And Their Organizations Accounted For Between $34 And $68 Million In Donations And $60 Million In Commitments To The Foundation. “All told, more than a dozen foreign individuals and their foundations and companies were large donors to the Clinton Foundation in the years after Mrs. Clinton became secretary of state in 2009, collectively giving between $34 million and $68 million, foundation records show. Some donors also provided funding directly to charitable projects sponsored by the foundation, valued by the organization at $60 million.” (James Grimaldi and Rebecca Ballhaus, “Clinton Charity Tapped Foreign Friends,” The Wall Street Journal, 3/19/15) ...

...FACT FIVE – Last Week The Clinton Foundation Announced They Wouldn’t Take Foreign Or Corporate Money If Clinton Is Elected, But Other Charities Still Will Be Allowed To:

Last Week Bill Clinton Said The Clinton Foundation “Would Only Accept Contributions From U.S. Citizens And Independent Charities” If Hillary Clinton Is Elected President. “The Clinton Foundation will no longer accept foreign and corporate donations if Hillary Clinton is elected president. … Bill Clinton said if Hillary Clinton wins the White House, the family’s foundation would only accept contributions from U.S. citizens and independent charities.” (Ken Thomas, “Clinton’s Foundation To Alter Donations Policy If Elected,” The Associated Press, 8/18/16)

Other Clinton Charities Will Continue To Take Foreign And Corporate Donations Should Clinton Become President. “Big chunks of the Clinton family’s charitable network would be exempt from a self-imposed ban on foreign and corporate donations if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, loopholes that highlight the complexity of disentangling her from the former first family’s myriad potential conflicts of interest.” (Annie Linskey, “Not All Clinton Charities Bound By New Set Of Rules,” Boston Globe, 8/20/16)

These Charities Include The Clinton Health Access Initiative, The Alliance For A Healthier Generation And The Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership. “The most prominent of the exceptions applies to the Boston-based Clinton Health Access Initiative, which in 2014 accounted for 66 percent of spending by the Clinton network of charities. … They include the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, an entity cofounded by the American Heart Association and the Clinton Foundation, and the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, a joint venture between Bill Clinton and Canadian mining billionaire Frank Giustra.” (Annie Linskey, “Not All Clinton Charities Bound By New Set Of Rules,” Boston Globe, 8/20/16)

"Clinton Foundation Is Charity Fraud Of Epic Proportions", Analyst Charges In Stunning Takedown
by Tyler Durden
Sep 8, 2016 5:07 AM

In early May, we introduced readers to Charles Ortel, a Wall Street analyst who uncovered financial discrepancies at General Electric before its stock crashed in 2008, and whom the Sunday Times of London described as "one of the finest analysts of financial statements on the planet" in a 2009 story detailing the troubles at AIG. Having moved on beyond simple corporate fraud, Ortel spent the past year and a half digging into something more relevant to the current US situation:"charities", and specifically the Clinton Foundation’s public records, federal and state-level tax filings, and donor disclosures.

Four months ago, Ortel began releasing his preliminary findings in the first of a series of up to 40 planned reports on his website. His allegation was simple: “this is a charity fraud.”

To learn more about the Clinton Foundation, Ortel decided to "take it apart and see how it worked" and he has been doing that ever since February 2015.

“I decided, as I did with GE, let’s pick one that’s complicated,” said Ortel. “The Clinton Foundation is complicated, but it’s really very small compared to GE.”

When Ortel tried to match up the Clinton Foundation’s tax filings with the disclosure reports from its major donors, he said he started to find problems. That includes records from the foundation’s many offshoots—including the Clinton Health Access Initiative and the Clinton Global Initiative—as well as its foreign subsidiaries.

"I decided it would be fun to cross-check what their donors thought they did when they donated to the Clinton Foundation, and that’s when I got really irritated,” he said. “There are massive discrepancies between what some of the major donors say they gave to the Clinton Foundation to do, and what the Clinton Foundation said what they got from the donors and what they did with it."

As previously reported, last year the Clinton Foundation was forced to issue corrected tax filings for several years to correct donation errors. But Ortel said many of the discrepancies remain. “I’m against charity fraud. I think people in both parties are against charity fraud, and this is a charity fraud,” he said.

To be sure, Ortel's efforts were to be commended: digging through the foundation's numbers can not have been easy, considering that the nation’s most influential charity watchdog put the Clinton Foundation on its “watch list” of problematic nonprofits in 2015. Furthermore, the Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid. That's because the organization spent the vast bulk of its windfall on "administration, travel, salaries and bonuses", with the fattest payouts going to family friends.

“It seems like the Clinton Foundation operates as a slush fund for the Clintons,” said Bill Allison, a senior fellow at the Sunlight Foundation, a government watchdog group where progressive Democrat and Fordham Law professor Zephyr Teachout was once an organizing director.

Overnight, on his website, Ortel released the long-awaited executive summary of his numerous, and at time confusing, findings: "Beginning today, and regularly thereafter, numerous detailed Exhibits will examine the known public record of the Clinton Charity Network within the context of applicable state, federal, and foreign laws."

And while we await the upcoming exhibits to his summary, here are the main highlights from the executive summary, which we urge all visitors - who have an even passing interest in the effort that has consumed the Clintons' time and energy for the two decades, and brought them substantial wealth - to read. ...

And this covers some of what I believe Hillary is hoping can be covered up and distracted from by shrieking Russia!!! and using censorship and propaganda. Certainly, her national security-hazarding private unsecured server, her emails and their contents are not being as heavily discussed either. Nor are Trump's destructive acts toward the entirely unrestrained poisoning and looting of America and the world by their various paymasters.

Why else would she be bringing up her appalling Secretary of State approval of a self-interested nuclear deal disposing of 20% of America's already inadequate-for-power-generation nuclear resources to another country she now wishes to attack militarily, setting the stage with Big Lie propaganda and censorship directed at American citizens, if she doesn't think that she can con the susceptible serfs into believing that the Russians somehow pressured her and others responsible for that approval of the sale so that it Wasn't Her Fault? It's Never Her Fault. It's Everyone Else's, unless The Plan calls for a specific target to blame, to take them down, for Her benefit.

Attention needs to be drawn to such information sources as those above before the ongoing censorship being imposed takes it down and replaces it with more propaganda.

Posting as is, as the thread's probably dead now anyway, lol - started this a couple of days ago...

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

@Ellen North
as the first letter HAVE to be up to something.

There isn’t enough dirt in the world to bury all her or the Clinton cabal crimes and malfeasance.

That's a fantabulous list there. And reading down it makes me wonder how anyone could ever think the Clinton Creature is presidential material. But then again ‘right mind’ and ‘Clinton supporters’ have absolutely nothing to do with one another.
