Not even if it's in the dollar bin
would I buy that piece of tripe. Not even for the laugh value, which I'm sure would be somewhat hilarious but then again, I know good and well it would simply make me angrier than I already am.

You raise an interesting point.
If Tina Fey had written those exact words as a spoof it would probably be a best seller.
Now she's going to need to write another about why this
one wouldn't sell.

She Won't, as Her Message is Loud and Clear
Is there a sympathetic audience for her? On that, I'm not sure. Still...
A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma
Blame it on progressives!
They betrayed Hillary again by not buying the book

The fact that she trashed Bernie
int this book is already making headlines.
Make no mistake about it. She is running again. And she wants to take control of the historical narrative on her losses while she is at it.
She is fucking dangerous!

She's been trying to control the discussion
since she lost. Mook and Podesta cooked up the lie about RUSSIA! RUSSIA! RUSSIA! to distract for all the lies and cheating that her and the other DNC thugs and slugs pulled.

Isn't it Chelsea's Turn?
I keep losing track.
Hey you are probably right. Hellery figures she just lost to trump by a smidgen. So now that Trump's polls are in the toilet, she can't lose this time. (thought process of a sociopath)

Hillary may hope to run again,
but I think she'd be running on empty if she did. Seems to me that a significant proportion of her 2016 "support" came from people voted "anybody but Trump" -- and not enough of them actually approved of Hillary very much. She's full of herself and full of hot air, and she still gets herself into the headlines, but I don't believe she is at all popular any more... if she ever was. I think Kamala Harris is clearly the one to watch out for -- she is tailor-made for the role of Democratic savior.

Seriously,
does she think attacking Bernie is going to make his supporters kneel at her feet and beg forgiveness, or is the plan to discourage progressives so much they get out of politics?

Not to rain on anyone's schadenfreude
But preorder discounts like this are pretty standard for big booksellers like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, etc. I wouldn't read anything special into it. I can predict with confidence it will be on the discount/remainder table soon enough though. These type of books tend to have a pretty short lifespan with rare exceptions. It'll be clogging up Goodwills and used book stores for years to come.
What will be interesting to me is if it makes the New York Times Best Sellers list with or without the telltale dagger that indicates there was bulk buying involved to buy it a spot on the charts. I don't follow that world as much as I used to, but I assume that's a thing that still goes on.

I saw three copies of "Hard Choices" .....
...at our public library used bookstore. I don't think I've seen three copies of anything at a used bookstore. It was earlier this year just a few months after the election. Hard to know just when they showed up, before or after the election. I would like to think after the election. Maybe some people are finally done with her or they just didn't want to be reminded of their loss.
Edit: edited to expand last sentence.
Oh yes, used bookstores have excess copies of many books
You as a customer won't see them on the shelves, of course, but certain titles come in by the dozens, and end up in the drek pile (i.e., trash). From my days working in a large used bookstore, two titles I remember clearly from the "never buy" list were Bill Cosby's Fatherhood, and the novel The Thorn Birds. For some reason, we had at least 100 copies of each of those books in our warehouse already. Still people left them, and we had to toss them out daily. Oy. There were others too but I can't think of them off the top of my head anymore.
Hillary's new book will be worthless in hardback as a used book within a very short time. Everyone in her diehard fan club will already have it, and no one else will ever buy this doorstop. Used bookstores will drek a lot of copies.

Canary in a coalmine in Sept '16 of Her's book first week sales
In massive understatement, NY Times ran with this headline that "Sales of Hillary Clinton’s New Book Are Off to a Slow Start"
But inside were all the gory details of what that meant relative to other similar books.
Close to election day or not, people were obviously just not interested in or invested enough in Her™. Just as they couldn't be bothered to turn up to her embarrassingly paltry public campaign events. There were so many telltale signs that she was in deep trouble. But the willful arrogance, entitlement and hubris prevailed.
Can anything be more of an out about her disgusting motives, than her "team" again concocting yet more money-making schemes in the way of sleazy "VIP" access and admission prices, just to fucking meet this pathetic 1% money whore? She is nauseating on so many levels.
"That's what they offered."
She'll never learn her lesson.
Should have been disqualified immediately after she took all those quarter million dollar "speeches" to Goldman Sachs while the big machinery behind her was preparing for her run. But not in the Neoliberal world. They all aspire to such craven greed and hoping they'll join the Big Club.

That she is charging over $2,000 for her book signing shows
how right your comment is:
This amount of money will leave most of her supporters out. The very ones that donated and worked hard for her campaign. This is how she tells them thanks.

I still remember her body language
When they asked her about the money for the speeches. Her answer came off as arrogantly disdainful, but the rest of her was clearly defensive.

Best Seller list. Her, the DNC, and her crazed followers. Isn't that how it's done to boost sales?

Oh, you mean the sustainable, civilized, law-abiding, democratic pony who forms part of the life-support system rather than destroying it in order to 'have it all' amid the wreckage?
The one that fertilizes as it reasonably feeds, rather than BSing as it sucks up everything everyone else has? I like that one, too; it's user-friendly in the good way.

What they have forgotten
is that this didn't last:
Because of the policies that Bill passed, the economy came crashing down during the Bush administration.
And so many of his economic policies still have an effect on us today.
Welfare reform, the crime bill, deregulation and other legislation.
This is why I didn't want them anywhere near the WH again.

Yep! PU stinks like already running for 2020. Please clap? How many new books did Bernie sell? I don't know. Billionaires run the operation here, not the suits and pantsuits on TV, those are their puppets.

I'm just going to plop this here as I was just turned on to this
today. It has some dated but relevant information about Her and her slams against Bernie. I wish I could reach back in my memory and list all this stuff when I come across Hillbots. Apologies if it was already posted!
