The Alt-Right's Obsession With Pedophilia, Paranoia and How it Obfuscates Real Crime
If you've been on youtube, facebook and twitter, chances are you've likely heard about pizzagate. To sum it up, pizzagate involves the conspiracy that the 'elites' were running a pedophilia ring out of a DC pizza joint. Ridiculous, right? That didn't stop someone from shooting up a DC pizza joint based on tips from Alex Jones, to which the people who spun the story responded by calling it a false flag (more on false flags later). Nevermind the actual pedophile rings being run out of Southeast Asia and Central/South America. Pizzagate is real, they say. Yet their lord and savior God Emperor Dipshit won't investigate. Gee, I wonder why.
Yet, if anyone even tries to call it out for the insanity that it is, they're labelled either as pedophiles or defenders of pedophilia in spite of the fact that most people actually don't support it at all no matter where they are on the political spectrum (Even though the same reddit and 4chan dipshits who swallow this tripe whole accuse the left of supporting pedophilia every chance they get).
The main issue with this kind of crap is that it minimizes and obfuscates real, actual crimes. To certain segments of the interwebs, everything is a false flag. Unless it happens to their guy. Then it isn't. School shooting? False flag. GOP Softball Game shooting? Real. And it's all the left's fault. And don't forget the bits about crisis actors, fake children and Satanic Cults because they're involved too don'tcha know.
Don't get the wrong idea. Their Centrist Democratic enablers also feed the narrative via the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA bullshit. So either way, we all lose with regards to conversation which is why we can't have nice things.

I read those Podesta wikileaks.
There are some very creepy emails in there written with coded language that are highly suggestive of a pedophilia ring.
There are also some pretty horrifying reports of child sexploitation out of Haiti, where the Clinton Foundation was fully 'invested'.
Also look up Jeffrey Epstein and the plane rides he used to give Bill.
I also don't think the various nationwide pedophilia stings conducted after the Podesta emals were leaked are just a coincidence.

The main issue with this kind of crap is people like the OP who repeat the NYT version of the story.
You claim the allegation is that a pornography ring was being run out of a pizza joint. Really? Is that the allegation? Made by whom? Because the only people claiming that allegation are the mainstream media sources who are immediately using that claim to base their disproving of the story.
The REAL allegation is that the pizza parlor had a members only area (easily proved at the time via the "login" link) and claims (via screen caps) that members could purchase and download a listing of encrypted files.
It's a shame the OP didn't research the topic enough to inform the readers of this.

As I just pointed out, the NYT and the WaPo et al immediately took to disproving the story with a skewed version of it. Just a lot of CT? Then why didn't they report on how the Trump administration arrested 1500 pedophiles in the first 30 days, and since taking office 3x the number of kiddie porn and sex trafficking arrests have been made. Crickets.

My brother knows of a "dry cleaning store" in SF,
which is a front for a large bookie enterprise. They get maybe one legit customer a week, the rest are all punters. It doesn't matter what the storefront is, pizza shop, dry cleaners, White House--it's all the same on the inside.

Many other businesses in the area can't operate because of the extra security precautions. And the Secret Service isn't doing too hot either because the Cheeto ran out their budget to boot.

The issue of pedophilia
has been suppressed. I agree with Not Henry Kissinger on this issue. It is very difficult for any of us to fathom, but I believe that it is very real and far more widespread than most of us could even guess. It might be called human trafficking, but most of the victims are children and many of them are disposed (killed) of after they have been used.
Edit to add: It upsets me to have even written this comment because the idea of abusing and possibly killing a child in this way is so disturbing.

Surely, there's a lot of smoke and mirrors
regarding high-level pedophile rings. But they certainly have existed, and probably still do... in DC, in Europe, and in England. The Dutroux affair in Belgium, Jimmy Saville's entourage in England, and the Franklin cover-up here, being a few notable examples. There may be, or may not be anything of substance to the "Pizzagate" accusations -- but in any event, I agree with you that focusing on this could be a distraction from more obvious, and more easily provable misbehaviors.
