3rd PDX C99 Meetup Announcement.
Hey folks, DMW here, announcing the third PDX meetup for C99.
Last two were a blast, and hope that we can continue the fun run here.
Time: 3PM, Sunday, September 10th
Place: The Lucky Labrador,
915 SE Hawthorne Blvd.
Portland, OR 97214
No dress code, just bring a few dollars to buy a drink or three. (No requirement, but since the Lab's been great to us, I try to at least eat while I'm there.)
No major topics of discussion, but I do intend to talk a bit about local groups that we might possibly think about linking up with, and possible things we can do in Real Life as opposed to just sitting online. Just a topic I'd like to discuss, and we can probably bang it out fast and enjoy each other's company, but if you have any ideas about things to talk about feel free.
See you all there, RSVP appreciated but not mandatory.

Plan on driving over.
If anyone else is coming from Central Oregon maybe we could car pool.
Still yourself, deep water can absorb many disturbances with minimal reaction.
--When the opening appears release yourself.
Will be glad to have you, and thanks!
I'd love to see as many friends and acquaintances as possible.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
I'll miss you by one month.
I have a trip to Portland scheduled for October.
We can always do another.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
Have a great time, good PNW folks.
Wish I could be there too. As an aside, need to get to your fine town at some point.
Who knows, maybe someday we'll all be able to get together somewhere nationally.

THE ONLY PROOF HE NEEDED
FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD
WAS MUSIC"

The ONLY way it's
going to get done (in my less-than-humble opinion). Any kind of "activism," that is. It's the way they did it back in the 1770s leading up to that decisive 4th of July. Worked then, can still work.
Speaking of which... spent an hour or two looking for a meeting spot between NYC and Baastn (Boston), that places like Albany and Newark could get to, too (within a couple hours drive). Found this one, which has seating, food and beer...
So, I'm proposing those of us that live within this circle /\ meet there.
More pics...
We just need a date.

Count me in DMW
I'll spring for the first two pizzas, as promised.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
If don't have to watch grandkids that day, I'll be there.
I've asked but don't know yet. There is no bringing twin 2 year olds with me.
BTW, there was another c99 meetup last fall.
People came from WA, Columbia gorge, and Eugene for that one. We all forgot to take pictures but it was great to meet people. We held it at a Chinese restaurant near freeways to make easier for out-of-towners.
