Bored Out of My Mind Random Crap
These days I'm trying to figure out ways to stay sane since jobs are virtually nonexistent. I don't really talk to people outside of my wife and her family and where the wife and I live there's nothing to do but shop and eat. Literally. I live right next to what could be described as an outdoor mall.
I can't really talk to anyone online either. Other than maybe here. Besides, most other communities are too toxic because everyone is too busy trolling or doxxing each other so no real conversation to take place.
Video games? Sure, I still play those but between the toxic communities and the nickel-and-diming of consumers by shitty AAA corporate developers, there's not a whole lot to be interested in on that front. Not to mention some idiots are still whining about how 'feminazis' want to turn everything into a fuckin' walking simulator. Stupid kids, get the hell off my lawn.
Of course, if those stupid kids had any sense, they'd address the real elephant in the room: The nickel-and-diming by corporate developers as I mentioned above. And the half-assed releases with the rest of the game released as 'DLC' which these same stupid kids will buy anyway because they gotta make that 'let's play' or shitty review money from Google, youtube or patreon.
Oh, and did I mention my employment specialist quit on me? That's right. She felt she couldn't place me so now I have to wait for Voc Rehab to refer me to yet another vendor that probably can't place me either. That's the life the disabled live, ladies and gentlemen.
No hope for anything meaningful on the employment front ever again. Fuck it.

Nioh has been a breath of fresh air in the otherwise stale world of video games. Yes, it has dlc, but it is very well done and inexpensive in comparison to what I've seen from other titles.
I don't own a PS4 or XBox One.
So I'll have to sit that one out for now.

Time for a hobby or self directed learning path
think about what interests and and motivates you. If self-motivated and self praise satisfies your desire for approval then there is no limits. If it helps to have outside acknowledgement for an achievement or a mutual discussion select a path that interests someone you know.
The simplest is food. Before TV dinners, mixes, take out and restaurants feeding a family and cleaning up took the physical activity of one person. Starting from the point of food you can travel the world and time.
Find something in the Mall you would like to learn to make yourself. Keep it small so all the supplies and material will fit in a suitcase for easy storage in an apartment. Become a self-taught expert.
Here, we need someone with the time and computer expertise to re-activate the Resilience group. Resilience is living and making a good life with what you have in-spite of the obstacles. A subcategory is homesteading and gardening, another intentional communities, another is living with physical and mental limitations including aging, another passing on skills and knowledge to new generations and the list goes on. If interested contact JTC I have no idea on the skill necessary to re-activate the group.
Still yourself, deep water can absorb many disturbances with minimal reaction.
