DNC Corruption

Progressives have an unusual ally in the effort to root out the corruption in the DNC - Republicans.
The most recent court hearing on the class action lawsuit filed against the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz on behalf of Sen. Bernie Sanders supporters occurred in late April 2017 when a federal court judge in South Florida heard arguments from DNC attorneys and Attorney Jared Beck for why the court should move forward on the case. That decision is still pending, but on July 27 Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee wrote a seven page letter to the Department of Justice seeking a special counsel probe into several aspects of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
The letter mostly focuses on a partisan witchhunt against Hillary, which is all poor-winner, water-under-the-bridge as far as I'm concerned. However, there was an addendum in that letter.
Along with the letter, Republicans listed 14 requests for a special counsel to investigate “inappropriate collusion between the DNC and Clinton Campaign to undermine Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign.” Though Sen. Bernie Sanders has largely avoided demanding accountability from the DNC and Democratic Party for rigging the primaries for Clinton, the class action lawsuit against the DNC and Debbie Wasserman Schultz has revealed the corruption rampant in the Democratic Party.
The DoJ hasn't responded to the letter yet.
Corruption is dogging the Democratic Party.
Consider this article.

To give you an idea, the DNC lawsuit is not the lead of the article.
It's paragraph number five.
Right now, corruption is the Number One problem for the Dems, and if they don't do something about it now they won't be winning back the House in 2018.

But but but Markuz said demographics
would take out the Republicans!!!! /s
Shucky Shurmer and Elizabeth Warren et al just publicly asked the Republicans to get up with bipartisanship re the tax code. Yah, now that is a big priority for the rank and file Dems! Meh.
Methinks having to depend on the rooting out of Dem corruption in order for them to win in 2018 is quite a climb... hasn't Pelosi already trumpeted they are not going to change a thing?
A truth of the nuclear age/climate change: we can no longer have endless war and survive on this planet. Oh sh*t.
Corrupt Dems won't change
As you know there was a huge push

@gjohnsit Exactly! And a TON of

They don't want change
and they don't even care about winning anymore. The DNC is basically a brothel, and their only goal is to keep their customers happy, and keep the money flowing. no matter what. You and I btw aren't "customers", we're the worthless trash on the street outside.

I'm actually seriously considering
Becoming a cascadian separatist.
The pnw could do far better as far as taking care of our own people goes.
There's plenty of local problems to take care of that the dnc and rethugs have zero interest in solving.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
It's not just corruption. It's hypocrisy, too.
Anything that roots out the corrupt corporatists is a good thing
The real SparkyGump has passed. It was an honor being your human.
This is okay
Remember that Pelosi said that winning back congress wasn't important.
Woozer! That is a lot of scandals and corruption. I wonder how much more they can find if they looked in to everyone who has connections to the Clinton's foundation?
From what I've read, the foundation going down would crash governments, congress members, financial institutions and a slew of other people. They have their tentacles everywhere.
I would love to see this happen. Rahm sat on this report for over a year until he was re-elected:
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.
...Right now, corruption is
Good. They couldn't un-corrupt themselves even if they would want to and are unfit to run an Office program on their frequently 'hacked' computers.
