those that are still alive anyway, will want to erect a statue of George W. Bush like the one of Saddam that they pulled down or the one of Bill Clinton in Kosovo. Hillary has a statue in Albania too and no doubt the Libyans will want their own monument to Hillary someday.

We wanted decent healthcare, a living wage and free college.
The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.

that will come here one day and whoever does it will be justified in doing it. Just my humble opinion. There are no words other than that for me.

It's sand and rubble now. What good does stopping do? The moment the Neocons bombed Afghanistan and invaded that country, our fate was set.

@lizzyh7

At that point, we came under the rule of the Wolfowitz doctrine.

“Our first objective is to prevent the re-emergence of a new rival, either on the territory of the former Soviet Union or elsewhere that poses a threat on the order of that posed formerly by the Soviet Union. This is a dominant consideration underlying the new regional defense strategy and requires that we endeavor to prevent any hostile power from dominating a region whose resources would, under consolidated control, be sufficient to generate global power. These regions include Western Europe, East Asia, the territory of the former Soviet Union, and Southwest Asia.”

The Wolfowitz Doctrine explicitly and unabashedly pushes for complete US supremacy at the cost of any other value, no matter how much depravity and destruction it takes to achieve it.

The Wolfowitz Doctrine has American arrogance and cockiness at its foundation. It was inspired by the Trilateral Commission, co-founded by David Rockefeller and big-time NWO insider Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski is an avowed Russophobe who for decades has been pushing for America to encircle Russia and capture the lion’s share of Eurasia. Brzezinski has had great influence on American foreign policy. He was present in the Carter administration, and he mentored Barack Obama. In his book The Grand Chessboard, Brzezinski writes:

“The most immediate task is to make certain that no state or combination of states gains the capacity to expel the United States from Eurasia or even to diminish significantly its decisive arbitrating role.”

” … the expansion of NATO is essential. By the same token, a failure to widen NATO … would shatter the concept of an expanding Europe and de-moralize the Central Europeans. It could even reignite currently dormant or dying Russian geopolitical aspirations in Central Europe.”

Brzezinski and his ilk have been and are still concerned with just one thing: power. Might is right and American supremacy is moral. The Wolfowitz Doctrine has laid it all out in black and white – and America’s support for Zionist Israel, the fake War on Terror, the demonization of Russia and Iran, the overthrow of Ukraine, and many other geopolitical events make much more sense when you realize its the driving force behind American diplomatic and military action.

These Deep State NWO conspirators are using the military might of America to forge a unipolar One World Government. But this really isn’t about America. It’s about using America as a tool to achieve the New World Order. After that, the US will be stripped of power and relegated it to the same level as all other nations, under the heel of the international financiers who plan to rule the world.

@Pluto's Republic This is one of the best things about this place! I have learned more here than even that other hell hole, although that did start the trend.

And I know we won't stop until someone else stops us. I see that now and it scares the hell out of me. These people are psychopaths, that's the only term I can come up for with them.

"the basement crazies". Here's the story on how they took over the Executive Branch. I was hoping Obama would have evicted them. Unfortunately Hillary made a secure place for them while she was SoS. They now live in the back rooms of the WH. No wonder Trump wants to stay at Mar a Lago. The stench in the WH must be overwhelming.

How Neoconservatives Conquered Washington – and Launched a War
by Michael Lind
April 10, 2003

America's allies and enemies alike are baffled. What is going on in the United States? Who is making foreign policy? And what are they trying to achieve? Quasi-Marxist explanations involving big oil or American capitalism are mistaken...

Both the economic-determinist theory and the clash-of-cultures theory are reassuring: They assume that the recent revolution in U.S. foreign policy is the result of obscure but understandable forces in an orderly world. The truth is more alarming....

The core group now in charge consists of neoconservative defense intellectuals. (They are called "neoconservatives" because many of them started off as anti-Stalinist leftists or liberals before moving to the far right.) Inside the government, the chief defense intellectuals include Paul Wolfowitz, the deputy secretary of defense. He is the defense mastermind of the Bush administration; Donald Rumsfeld is an elderly figurehead who holds the position of defense secretary only because Wolfowitz himself is too controversial. Others include Douglas Feith, No. 3 at the Pentagon; Lewis "Scooter" Libby, a Wolfowitz protégé who is Cheney's chief of staff; John R. Bolton, a right-winger assigned to the State Department to keep Colin Powell in check; and Elliott Abrams, recently appointed to head Middle East policy at the National Security Council. On the outside are James Woolsey, the former CIA director, who has tried repeatedly to link both 9/11 and the anthrax letters in the U.S. to Saddam Hussein, and Richard Perle, who has just resigned his unpaid chairmanship of a defense department advisory body after a lobbying scandal. Most of these "experts" never served in the military. But their headquarters is now the civilian defense secretary's office, where these Republican political appointees are despised and distrusted by the largely Republican career soldiers.

Most neoconservative defense intellectuals have their roots on the left, not the right. They are products of the influential Jewish-American sector of the Trotskyist movement of the 1930s and 1940s, which morphed into anti-communist liberalism between the 1950s and 1970s and finally into a kind of militaristic and imperial right with no precedents in American culture or political history....

So that is the bizarre story of how neoconservatives took over Washington and steered the U.S. into a Middle Eastern war unrelated to any plausible threat to the U.S. and opposed by the public of every country in the world except Israel. The frightening thing is the role of happenstance and personality. After the al-Qaida attacks, any U.S. president would likely have gone to war to topple bin Laden's Taliban protectors in Afghanistan. But everything that the U.S. has done since then would have been different had America's 18th century electoral rules not given Bush the presidency and had Cheney not used the transition period to turn the foreign policy executive into a PNAC reunion.

@Pluto's Republic I only knew a little bit about how horrible Wolfowitz's policies were, but I thought a lot of Middle East policies came from the creepy Kagan family who helped write PNAC. Robert is the person who is out front on this little gang of warmongers, but his wife Victoria was responsible for the coup in Ukraine. She was Hillary's undersecretary of state, IIRC.
Either way, the whole family are horrible people and they usually vote republican. They and others who were involved with PNAC and the Iraq war decided that Trump's messages on Russia and Syria looked like he wouldn't let them continue to destroy the Middle East and make peace with Russia, so the gang decided to back Hillary's campaign.

I agree with lizzy, the essays written on this site as well as the commentary is excellent. I continue learn something new each day.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Voting is like driving with a toy steering wheel.
