Almost voted Gloria LaRiva for Prez last year
voted Jill Stein instead. It's not like there was only one person representing my gender but whatevs, I am over voting for identity long time ago. LaRiva was great on the issues, and Dennis Banks? He's been around since I was a kid, P&F are my real representers in California probably. Cheers e l keep going. Have a great day.
Judy Henske is funny.

A giant tree fell
from our neighbor's yard on Tuesday during several days of heavy rains. No structures were damaged, but thus far, it appears we have lost or have severely damaged four large rhododendrons. It was an act of nature so no one can be blamed, but losing those rhododendrons is making me very sad. On the good luck side, it missed a flame (native) azalea, so I am grateful for that.
I am in bad news overload. The murder of a south Florida prosecutor has me shaken to the core. He was reportedly working on passport and visa cases. Oh and a coincidence is that his office is in Debbie Wasserman Schultz's district and also in the same district in which Jared and Elizabeth Lee Beck filed the DNC fraud lawsuit. The Becks are understandably nervous.

He loved telling that story. He had to scramble to find some jeans to wear! lol!
He also thought the Allmans were great guys, great artists.
RIP, Gregg.

Flattened by this news
Duane and Gregg together again, wish I could hear it right now.

I remember those Judy Henske songs!
Freshman year at college, a friend from Portland, Oregon, who was majoring in art bought a couple of her records through Record Club of America.
Sweet Melissa
One day I was riding a thoroughbred gelding that was fresh off the race track, barely broke.
I am riding alongside a country road, no traffic, and came upon a little bridge over a creek. I am calming this horse by singing "Sweet Melissa".
While on the little bridge, a tree was full of vultures. As I sang, and walked by, 30 vultures raised their wings. The former race horse ran. We ran full out for a mile, I managed to turn him, we raced another 3 miles, jumping felled trees (thanks, light company)(people out in their yards yelled and clapped) and by the time I got him under control, I started singing Sweet Melissa again. All in all, it was a 12 mile ride, with about 7 of it completely out of control.
Charleston. National champion 3 day event horse, some Olympic peeps tried to buy him from the lady I sold him to. Like, hundred of thousands.
An amazing horse.
I met his last owner. He had only 4 in his long life.
RIP Charleston.
