@Pricknick
And that is a beauty. I have a maidenhair fern that I rescued from the side of the railroad tracks on a walk one day. Someone had thrown it over the cliff above. It's still hanging in there.
Pet at own risk.
My rescued Azalia. Found in dumpster at a Denny’s restaurant 10 years ago.

It may not have been so memorable for you, but for those of us who rarely, if ever have the opportunity to see such life close up, your images are very memorable. Today I especially enjoyed the Spring green forest and pond reflection.

They are certainly noisy! A bird bath plus solar fountain to install. My first water feature!
It was a nice day, but not a memorable one...

Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Beautiful glowing sky, Bollox. Thanks for posting.
Here are two images - an earlier one, and a recent one. They reflect two of the infinitely varying qualities of light through the days and the seasons in my little corner of the world.
Thank you everyone for all your unique and inspiring contributions, and have a very enjoyable weekend.
Some music to chill by … compliments of Fat Freddy’s Drop.

Thanks Janis. I love the sliver of light in the dank darkness. And the brushing of light on the exterior of the trees in the second photo. Looks like winter.

Hubby has been sick and we haven't been able to get out. Love everyone's photos so far.
Today I'm trying to make cupcakes for our nephew's birthday party tomorrow. I've tried two different recipes so far and they both collapsed in the middle. Not sure what's going on but I think I need to add a crap load of extra flour to the batter. Now I'm pulling my hair out and have a pile of cupcakes that didn't turn out. Back to it I go....
@Bollox Ref
And a nice train ride out. That was a good day. Happy memories.
Kew Palace from last year. George III's kids hated it. Too many for too few rooms.
And this amused me at Kew Gardens:

I'm beginning to have script problems (and bottlenecking), so I'll spare you guys this evening, and skip posting one of my stock photos. But, you probably won't be so lucky next week.
Hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!

Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
Hi Pricknick.
It looks like your rescues, whether plant or animal tend to thrive. Is that mushroom in some way the equivalent of a venus flycatcher?
Thank you.
Rescues are the best
