While looking for photographs, I noticed Iraq news reports saying Al Baghdadi may be in Mosul. If they find him, maybe he can have his picture taken again with John McCain, with whom he was photographed in 2013 when this all began. And maybe we'll bring John McCain to justice.

Our MSM

continues to ignore the atrocities going on in Mosul because no Russians to blame. I just finished watching a segment on RT concerning the bias of coverage from MSM on Mosul compared to Aleppo. Aleppo is look the Russians and Syrians are killing civilians and in Mosul its look the Americans are killing bad terrorists nothing else to see here.

and while I can believe the reports of atrocities by Assad and Russia, and I can believe the reports can be flawed or accurate, I can also believe the Iraqi forces can commit atrocities. But whenever the emphasis of a report is on the strategic direction of an attack, for example to liberate the people of Mosul, the forces are described as the "U.S.-led coalition" somehow.

There's a difference between Aleppo and Mosul

Assad gave the remaining terrorists in Aleppo a free pass and a bus ride with their families and personal weapons to Idlib.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday afternoon that the first group of militants, including 1,500 armed men and their families, left Eastern Aleppo on buses and ambulances under the ceasefire agreement.
Editor’s note: 5,000 terrorist fighters are being allowed to evacuate from Aleppo.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi army and militias have been separating men from their families as they flee Mosul if they are suspected of working with ISIS during the 2 years of occupation. Anyone who knows anything about war and occupations realize one must work with the enemy to a certain extent in order to stay alive.

In Iraq, the US backed Iraqi army is now in the process of liberating Mosul. Unfortunately, there was some unavoidable collateral damage despite the use of high precision 500# bombs and the fact that ISIS is using civilians as human shields in the city.

Note how differently The New York Times prepares the American public for civilian casualties from the new U.S.-backed Iraqi government assault on the city of Mosul to free it from the Islamic State, compared to the unrelenting condemnation of the Russian-backed Syrian government assault on neighborhoods of east Aleppo held by Al Qaeda.

In the case of Mosul, the million-plus residents are not portrayed as likely victims of American airstrikes and Iraqi government ground assaults, though surely many will die during the offensive. Instead, the civilians are said to be eagerly awaiting liberation from the Islamic State terrorists and their head-chopping brutality.

The little boy

with the white flag, whose image comes up before the video starts, is seen in the video toward the end, at 2:09. He appears to be on his own, and he's kind of gasping. Maybe he's exhausted or traumatized, or maybe he's sick. How could we do this to him? How could we do all of this?

How could my country become this bad?
