Make Fairyland Great Again

I spent the weeks following this hellection in a frenzy of fevered creation, and wrote 21 fractured fairytales for the Trump era. They're updated, deplorable retellings of the classics. I threw 'em onto Amazon and they're free as an ebook for the next few days, right here: http://amzn.to/2gLGbfs
So far, people seem to like them. And you can't beat the price. If you want to read a few without going to Amazon, you can read a few tales on Booman. They're formatted ugly, but they're there! http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2016/12/14/154226/25

That would be a sweet exchange ...
Too bad, there's not an equal amount of sweetness shared in the world ; (
Thank you for your tales.
Very amusing!
With the ridiculosity of a President Trump in our near future, I don't quite know whether to laugh or cry. But these stories made me laugh. We may need a lot of amusing diversions over the next 4 years to ward off the depression we will no longer be able to afford to treat.
Good luck with the book!
On Amazon, it was only "free" if I signed up for expanded Kindle, for which they'd charge my credit card in a month, so I didn't download. There is a way for it to be truly free - I've downloaded other books without having to sign up - I don't know how you do that, but you might want to explore if you want it to be free without strings.

Got it for free as a Kindle Book
I was already logged in to my Kindle account though.
I look forward to enjoying it. Thanks!

Yes, you have to have an account first.
For which they'll charge you after a 30-day free trial period.
This is how it works on my computer, anyway, to clarify; I don't have a Kindle, but there is free software you can download that is supposed to operate the same. I have been able to download some books for free that way, but not this one.

I love my Kindle for book buying and reading.
I followed his link, clicked on one click buying send to my kindle fire, and it is there waiting for me. There are so many books available for free at Amazon. Ebook are the best.

Gah!
I'm very sorry about that! This is the first thing I've ever published via Amazon, and I'm messing up every single step. My cover didn't fit. My reviews vanished. Now this!
I'm about 90% sure I fixed this. Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention. It should be -free- free, not some kind of credit-card-membership free. I hate that, and never give my information!
I'm glad you liked the stories though! And if you try again, please tell me. I think you have to use the lower button that says 'buy now,' which will charge you the going price--zero--instead of the upper button that says 'buy for free.' Not that that makes any sense ...
Yes! That was the trick!
If I click on "try for free," I get the subscription thing again. So I clicked on "Buy" where it says it's $0.00, and it downloaded right away. Thank you!
More an Amazon screw-up than yours, methinks. Or perhaps most people go ahead and sign up out of frustration - a feature, not a bug, in other words.
I can't wait to continue reading (I read the first stories on Booman)!

There is a fairyland...

All the roads are named for fairy tales. It sits high above Chattanooga and is the location of Rock City.
I bet living in a fairyland might be preferable to whats coming in reality. Thanks for your kind offer of free fairy tales!

Wow. I've never heard of that.
And ... yeah. I'm afraid for reality. I think one reason I spent weeks obsessively writing these was just to keep myself from dwelling on the horrors...

Thanks for your rendition .
