The above poster reflects once again: Why I Cannot Support Hillary Clinton

I predict that Hillary Clinton will win the Presidency with the support from neoconservatives such as David Frum [GWB’s former speechwriter] and other “Top Republicans voting for Hillary Clinton.”   David Frum’s recent article:  “The Conservative Case for Voting for Clinton” eloquently argues why ‘patriotic’ conservatives must vote for her in order to “preserve the Constitution.” As such, Hillary Clinton, the ‘Democratic nominee’ will leave her liberal base in the dust as she rides off into the sunset with her best friends -- Republican banksters /  lobbyist, et.al.

Witness Hillary’s carefully crafted statement re: the Dakota Access Pipeline standoff.

We received a letter today from representatives of the tribes protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. From the beginning of this campaign, Secretary Clinton has been clear that she thinks all voices should be heard and all views considered in federal infrastructure projects. Now, all of the parties involved—including the federal government, the pipeline company and contractors, the state of North Dakota, and the tribes—need to find a path forward that serves the broadest public interest. As that happens, it’s important that on the ground in North Dakota, everyone respects demonstrators’ rights to protest peacefully, and workers’ rights to do their jobs safely.

Translation? -- Despite the treaties we've made, the corporations financing the attacks on protesters (Hillary’s donors) have a right to push their pipeline through sacred tribal land…

Lynda Mapes, a Seattle Times reporter who just returned from North Dakota noted:

There's a sense of having been pushed for 150 years off the lands that were their lands because someone else wanted them to make money. And it was so evocative to watch law enforcement chasing Indians on horses. This has been going on for more than a century. To see law enforcement in ATVs and helicopters pursuing Indians on horses across the Great Plains, it was incredible to see that in the year 2016.

But hey, as long as we all:  ‘find a path forward that serves the broadest public interest’ -- lawyerese for “pro Business and who cares about the planet / people.”

In contrast, Green Party Candidate, Jill Stein faces charges in North Dakota for her role in protesting the North Dakota Access pipeline. Her statement reads:

“I hope the North Dakota authorities press charges against the real vandalism taking place at the Standing Rock Sioux reservation: the bulldozing of sacred burial sites and the unleashing of vicious attack dogs. I hope they take action against the Dakota Access Pipeline company that is endangering drinking water not only for the Standing Rock Sioux, but for millions of people downstream of the reservation who depend on the Missouri River.”

“The pipeline will carry up to 570,000 barrels of highly polluting Bakken crude oil per day. This would be another deadly blow to a climate teetering on the brink. It cannot be allowed to go forward…”

Based on Hillary Clinton’s record, I’m  “Not with Her” and  I’m certainly “Not with Him”; as such, voting my conscience means that Jill Stein is my only option.

I guess you haven't heard.

The World Series was hacked by the Russians.

I don't have many Cleveland backers in my world; so, no, I hadn't heard that until you brought it up.

here in Ohio. Voted for Jill and a few down ticket candidates, Ted Strickland, Janet Garrett and Ohio supreme court candidates. It was packed at the BOE. I've never seen it like this and I've always voted early. And the trump signs. One would think they're breeding like rabbits. There's trump signs on top of trump signs. Over the years you know who puts yard signs out and who doesn't. There's trump signs in many of the "who doesn't" this year. And very few Hillary>signs. I've seen houses with Dem candidate's signs in their yards but no Hillary signs. The republican base is fired up. They're not going to listen to the DC establishment repubs and vote for clinton. No way.
And don't forget Natural-Writes, clinton voted for the Iraq war and the Patriot Act...and she was against single payer before she was for it...

Oregon has by mail voting but I'm walking down to the library and hand delivering it to a librarian rather then the county polling place of dubious weirdness. We have a great county library system and I trust them to not mess with or lose my ballot. Hardly any yard signs in my precinct which is decidedly liberal and used to be 85% Democratic the rest being Greens or Indies. Think the Independents are closing in on the Democrat's. There are a lot of Black Lives Matter yard signs which cheers me up. I've only seen one Hillary sign, no Jill signs and no Trump signs.

'Yes on 97' a ballot measure that would tax corporations. Oregon has a very low tax rate for corporations like Nike or Intel. I'm voting for that one. Our crooked 'progressive' Dem. ex governor when elected in 2010 declared "Oregon is open for business". After resigning in disgrace his successor Kate Brown took over as the next Democratic crooked governor. Not voting for her or any of Portland's bent corrupt progressive Dem. pols. Greens and socialists or indies are my down ballot picks. Oh no's I'm throwing away my vote on useless protests.

our third party choices are pretty much all libertarian or constitution party. So democrat it was down ticket. Barf. I went over the ballot and voting guide with a fine-tooth comb and read every candidate for every office too. But I did vote for Stein/Baraka. Greens are not an official registered party here; not sure what we have to do to make that happen.

So long, and thanks for all the fish

Wall Street should regulate itself according to a Clinton speech. She supports the recommendations of Simpson-Bowles otherwise known as The Cat Food Commission--which oh by the way called for cuts in social security. She gave a flying fuck about a $15/hr min. wage until somebody mentioned the marches for it, and even then she would not support that wage amount. Podesta was mocked as being part of the Red Army for supporting $15/hr min. wage--which indicates the democratic establishment is no friend of the working man and woman. She is pro-drug war even having her daughter make up shit about pot. She made up stories about "wacko environmentalists" to get support of unions supporting bad environmental projects like Keystone. She refused to even talk to activists who wanted Walmart to raise wages. Instead she praised Walmart to high heaven (you have to wonder what any union leadership was thinking when they endorsed her over Bernie.)

But there are progressives who think she is a liberal or can be moved left on issues within the party. If Hillary wins, she will go all out to torch the left, hell, even "liberals" within the party.

during the health care debates. Remember how many petitions, emails and phone calls we dined, sent and made only to find out that he had already made deals with the insurance and pharmaceutical companies while the kabuki theater debate was still going on?
We tried pushing him on so many issues and how did that work out for us? He didn't move an inch.
And how many years did people say he was playing chess, setting up the republicans and had them right where he wanted them?
If we couldn't push Obama, why do they think they will be able to push Hillary?
During the election her people said they would elect her then push her to the left while we said that Bernie was already on the left and didn't need pushing.
Hillary has no intention of keeping the most progressive platform ever.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Republicans are brutal partisan loyalists. I don't believe the high-profe Repubs going public on her behalf are "with Her" for a nano-instant.

I think they (Repubs) understand that whichever candidate wins this election will have the effect of immolating their own party, perhaps for decades, and they prefer that we immolate ours.

Where are the high-profe Dems pushing for a Trump win? Stupid Dems, always lagging the Repubs game, with their big swollen heads blinding them bloody.

Vowing To Oppose Everything Trump Attempts.

I'm so happy to see so many Jill Stein voters. As many of you probably know already,
the Green Party needs every vote because if we get at least 5% of the national popular vote - which we’ve hit in at least one recent poll - the Green Party will win federal recognition and qualify for up to $10 million or more in public funding in the 2020 presidential election.
