Clinton operatives linked to Assange smear
It's less than a surprise to see Orange State, a Democratic Party mouthpiece, linked to the Julian Assange smear.
So it should be even less surprising that Larry Summers, an influential, neoliberal advisor in the Clinton campaign, is also linked to the Assange smear.
Internet sleuths from Reddit were able to dig up some information about the dating service pushing the attacks on Assange, finding that the company shares the address with a private intelligence corporation named Premise Data Corporation.Interestingly, Larry Summers, who is connected to the Clinton Campaign, is on the board of directors of Premise Data Corporation.
Here is the Reddit post that lays out the findings:
As other Redditors point out, the Center for American Progress was founded by Clinton campaign chair John Podesta and was funded by billionaire and pro-Clintonite George Soros.
As we reported yesterday, Fox News had told its audience Tuesday morning that Assange would be arrested “maybe in a matter of hours,” leading to the speculation that there could have been a plot to arrest Assange over the pedophilia accusations.

Anyone who's spent any time doing national political media...
...work in this country could smell this bullshit a mile away, when it first appeared. The fact that this was first promoted over at Daily Kos--which receives somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 million-plus per year from the DNC/DSCC/DCCC, but refuses to provide any details regarding the specific sources of its financing--really tells us all we needed to needed to know. Their credibility is--and has been for quite some time--truly and totally shot. For more than two or three years, they've been little more than just another neoliberal Hillary PAC. Orange State is to the point where they make even John Podesta's and Neera Tanden's Center for American Progress look good!
Fucking shameless and disgusting!

How stupid and desperate is Clinton to underestimate the talent of internet jockeys to unravel this simple slipknot in record time.
She and her gang of hubris driven sociopaths are pathetic.
They Think Money Solves Everything.
They are idiots when it comes to tech and modern society. Complete Morans.
They're paying people to do work for them who "know" how to do it. The guy who contacted Reddit for help securing her server, for instance. The people being paid to do the work are surely aware of their limitations and the limitations and risks involved with doing the work that "their betters" are contracting, or demanding them to do.
It's called Hubris, and the Internet has a way of reducing hubris to farce in rapid fashion.
Hillary and Drumpf don't even know how to internet. Ted Stevens is an IT phenom compared to them. And what makes it worse is they don't care that they are ignorant of such common and bedrock technologies. Any problem can be solved with enough money and institutional propaganda.
This is a main reason they are failing to keep the rabble in check. The Big Lie is collapsing because of this.

When Larry Summers was the chief economist for the World
Bank, he wrote an internal memo that CounterPunch got and published. Summers said, "I've always felt that the under populated countries of Africa are under polluted, their air is vastly inefficient..."
That's what a Harvard education will get you...
"The justness of individual land right is not justifiable to those to whom the land by right of first claim collectively belonged"
I'd never
wish anything, like death, on anyone. But I sure wish an alien spacecraft would come down and gather people like Summers up, kinda like picking blueberries, and use them for snacks on their long journey through the universe...
...although, they'd probably get the shits....
Summers wrote that
as a justification for the idea of using that land as a dumping ground for nuclear waste. When confronted, he said something like he was "just thinking out loud" -no intention to really do it, etc. SCUM is too good a word for him.
Never known myself to be a violent person, until now. Never owned a gun, too scared to do anything but SCREAM. Feel a RAGE can't even describe.
Understand why many voting for Donald Trump. Think he's less dangerous. Clintons & all their sycophants need to GO. Be destroyed. That's my first wish, Jill getting a helluva lot more than 5% is my second wish. But getting rid of Clintons is #1.
The chief economist of the World Bank does not "think out loud"
in official internal memos. He meant it. He meant it like using Sierra Blanca county Texas as a repository for nuke waste...Whole landscapes and the populations are just in the way of capitalism's eternal quest for profit.
Agree with you: SCUM; and, I hope the Greens get over 5%.

OMG, he was that guy? No wonder Bernie supporters were magically made misogynists, as well as Young White Racist Males (and sometimes affluent and either educated-elites-in-a-bad-way and sometimes ignorant college students or worse, depending).

Considering how odious Trump
Considering how odious Trump is, Hillary is still having trouble getting a decisive lead.
Then there's all this pearl clutching about how democracy is at risk because........Trump is saying the elections are rigged. How we all have to get along for the sake of the country. Like when was the last time we got along? I seem to remember Rove having a meltdown when RMoney lost, he couldn't believe his version of rigging went awry. And how about all of that rigging to steal the primaries from Bernie? Are we supposed to act like those aren't things?
"Oh, they're stealing democracy".......that's the newest line. If the truth is stealing democracy, then we aren't in a democracy. I hate all of these people. I want to move to the wilderness.
Thomas Frank on Larry Summers
This quote was was taken from a New York Times book review of Frank's book, "Listen Liberal." I have referenced it several times because it captures the extreme sense of entitlement and arrogance of neo-liberals like Summers.
People like Summers need to be relegated to the trash heap of history. They have done so much damage throughout the world and they really do not care.

Why?
You keep saying things like that. Do you have some agenda that wants to push Assange to drop everything he has all at once in mid-October so it's forgotten about by the time the election rolls around? Really, it's hard to understand why you would otherwise be doing this.
No one here is powerful enough or important enough to have what
may be referred to as an 'agenda'. Myself included. And you. We're small potatoes here, outside of this community no one cares what we say. What I have is an 'opinion' just like you. And it may be mid-October but some of us can carry an idea in our heads for longer than 24 hours. And discuss it. And pass it on. There will be no political equivalent of the Hail Mary pass with 2 seconds to go and down by 3.
On October 4th Assange said this (that was the last time he was supposed to be releasing devastating news about the election):
"“There’s been a lot of misquoting of me and WikiLeaks publications,” he said. “In this particular case, the misquoting has to do with that we intend, or I intend, to harm Hillary Clinton or that I don’t like Hillary Clinton. All those are false.""
IN THIS ARTICLE from the WP is a video at the top of the page of him saying it.

A thousend pin pricks
This is a war of a thousand pin pricks and which each release the pins become sharper, thicker and more directed. Today for example is this (copied my post in Facebook).
I have been posting elsewhere concerning the Podesta emails, the Clinton run smear campaign against Assange (Wikileaks) and such like. But this one email really pisses me off because some months ago I was attacked for posting that Clinton was still accepting donations from private prisons and private detention centers which are used as slave labor camps for African-Amaricans, Hispanic-Americans and immigrants. I knew months ago she was lying through her teeth and got attacked for calling it.
Well here is the fucking email that proves what I was saying all along on the subject:
This is slimy shit, and it enrages me. There is plenty to be outraged about in the so far twelve dumps of Podesta E-Mails. But, for goodness sake, don't be fooled by Trump either... the person is either so ignorant in his statements, most of which are plain false, or is a pathological liar on the same scale as the Clintons.
They are both evil corporate police state pieces of garbage. Please, vote for Stein, Johnson or someone else (I prefer Socialist candidates) and register your protest. One of these two are likely to win, but we need to keep them to as minority a vote as possible so they can't claim they have a mandate. We have to get 5% for Green so they are an "official"party next election.
A smoking gun would be ignored by MSM... what we have here are an overwhelming mass of blows... with, if many sources are correct, will lead to the knock out punches.

I disagree
Her Heinous is, sooner or later, going to piss off the wrong Very Important Person in said media. I say that only because she's managed to piss so many people off, in her desperation. It's a long shot as to any good timing, but I don't think it's an impossible scenario yet...
She's only got three weeks to go. Her handlers have done a
Frankenstein on her and completely redone her look, clothing, hair, and it looks like they got a grip on her health problem. She seems more cool and collected than she has this entire campaign (IMO a drug-induced calm but I could be full of shit on that one).
She's been disappearing for days at a time and each time she show up again she looks better than she did and acts better too. I would love to know what's going on an where ever it is she goes because her little disappearances have made a world of difference. Now all she has to do is lay low, maintain her cool, and she's got it made.
It would be nice if there was a last minute 'miracle' to save us from Hellery, but it's not going to happen. TPTB have too much invested in her and too much to lose themselves if she fails. I'm not saying the election is rigged because I can't prove it. Do I think it could be? Of course. Look at the Democratic Primary. I'm sure that this will sound terrible, but in a way I hope the Democrats don't retake the House. And the reason for that is (I think) obvious. The Repubs saved us a number of times when Obama wanted to put the screws to us. She's going to be worse. Let's hope they hate her as much as they did old Hopey-Changey.

Since Johnson has been quoted as supporting the TPP corporate coup, Jill is the only Presidential candidate currently running who supports democracy and the global survival of life on the planet over totalitarian corporate/billionaire power and control on order for the few to literally 'have it all', even though destroying 'it all' (including global oxygen production in the very near future, as within your own/your children's/grandchildren's theoretical lifespans) in the hostile takeover/profit maximization process.

One thing to remember post election.
One thing to remember for people like Sanders, Warren, and similar voices in Congress on the democrat side, is that this smear machine will probably remain intact after the election. If Hillary wins, I don't think TOP will be anymore open to say criticisms of Clinton's history as an extreme war hawk then they are right now. Establishment dems will support the David Brock's to work at dominating social media and the internet for any message they want to deliver, or to marginalize any group or person.
Exactly
This isn't going away on November 9.
This is the way it'll be for the next four years, especially on TOP
Great point, Mr. Webster
Look at how any criticism of Obama was handled on DK.
He continued almost every one of Bush's policies including expanding PNAC's goals in the Middle East, the spying program which incorporates 800 private companies, extended the patriot act as well as the charter schools programs just to name a few things.
The anti war protesters on DK were told to shut up because Obama is different than Bush.
People are still writing that he has been the best president since FDR even though income inequality is as bad as it was in 1928.
And they say that he's ended two wars and hasn't started any new ones while the Afghanistan war is still going strong, he's sent troops back into Iraq.
Invaded and destroyed Libya on false pretenses and is trying to overthrow Assad again on false pretenses.
People say that they will miss him when he leaves office or wishes that he could run for a third term.
Meanwhile the people in Libya, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine and God knows how many other countries have had their lives either snuffed out or their country destroyed.
The only difference between him and Bush when it comes to the wars is that less American soldiers have been killed in the line of duty.
Even Bush or Cheney said that they had the right to kill 3 Americans without due process.
No bank CEOs or war criminals have even been charged, but he has prosecuted more whistleblowers under the espionage act then all previous presidents.

That's important because it's how they fund all these crazy wars, on credit. Once the bubble finally bursts, they won't be able to afford a war with Russia, China, Iran, or anyone else.
The sycophants at TOP are pretty tedious. That part is simple though, because as the place restricts more thought and expression, it gets increasingly boring and stupid, and people leave, as they already have, in droves. In ten years we'll barely remember a place called DKos.

I agree about the herd and the outcome. But I am curious
about one thing. The young. Everyone has quit talking about the millennial voters. It's like they all disappeared from view.
What are they thinking? Who are they going to vote for? At one time I read only 15% of Sanders voters were going over to the Dark Side. Where's that number at now? They are an important factor in this election.

They're either staying home,
They're either staying home, or voting Green/Libertarian. I base that on the large number of Millennials I associate with. Only one or two have succumbed to Trump panic and decided to vote $$Hill.
I suspect this country is going to see the greatest generational strife since the Vietnam era.
I know some will stay home. My 23-year old says he's one of
them. And one of his friends is voting for Johnson. One went to the Dark Side and none of the others seem to know what they are going to do. (they all originally supported Sanders). All of them except the one who;s going with Hellery now say it's not worth it, it doesn't matter even though I try to tell them different, but it seems they REALLY don't care anymore and just get that glazed over look in their eyes. And the topic of the election doesn't seem to interest them anymore either.
I didn't know if this was a particularly 'odd' bunch of millennials or if they are representative of the whole. I wish that the Dem primary hadn't turned out the way it did because they seem to be as jaded as I am about the whole system now, and that's pretty bad because I'm no spring chicken and have been playing the election game for almost 40 years. It doesn't bode well for their participation in the future either, which is what concerns me the most.
Thank you for your reply.

Seems many of them have 'got $$Hillary's message' about the value of their participation.
The DNC had better hope and pray that their little coalition is enough to beat back the repigs in the coming elections, because their utter asshole-ishness towards what should have been the future base of their party may cost them, and all of us, very, very dearly.
future base of their party???
you mean the 1% that will vote for Jill Stein???
I lean more toward the idea that
they're going Green or Libertarian--though I know a couple who have bailed. Nowhere near as many as I thought, though. It probably depends on where you live. People in so-called swing states will probably participate a bit more.
They need to get their smears straight.
It is unlikely a man who has been charged with raping adult women, would want to play naughty with an 8-year-old over the internet.
