Bernie on Morning Joe to Millennials "Clinton the Superior Candidate"

Nothing really surprising here, but if you want to understand Bernie's Pitch to Bring Home The Millennials , here is the video.

So Hillary is doing a full court press to draw Millennials to her side. One aspect of this project is deploying Sanders to stump for her and make the case to the Millennials. The Morning Joe appearance seems orchestrated to ask the questions about why Millennials are not feeling Hill's Burn.

Update:
Found this Jimmy Dore video where he calls out Clara Jeffery (editor of Mother Jones Magazine). Referring to a study showing many Millennials plan to vote third party, Jeffery tweeted "I have never hated Millennials more."

Blame the voters 2016!!! Hahaha.

Won't fly. Because millenials know (because they've done their research) that Hillary can't be trusted to implement those policies.

On the other hand, the policies that she mentioned in her $750,000 of Goldman Sachs speeches, those she'll implement.

Plus, there's how she & her campaign has treated Bernie supporters all along, with special emphasis on the convention.

Look at his face - he's doing what he committed to do because he made that commitment. But there's no sparkle in his eyes. He was threatened with being stripped of any leadership role if he went his own way.

Bernie knows who Hillary is. He almost got the nomination by running against Hillary. Interesting that he doesn't go down on those issues in defending Hillary. He refused to touch the issue of compulsive lying, and being an unrepentant war hawk. On every other issue the story is "I got it into the platform", essentially a burial ground for Bernie's issues. Or he simply compares her to Trump, using the bigotry issue. Who said that marriage was a sacred bond between a man and a woman? Gee, it must have been Trump, because he is the bigot (not). I think that Trump is prejudiced against foreigners coming into the US from hotspots around the globe without adequate vetting.

The big story Bernie misses is that people want jobs, and that's what Trump is promising. Whether he can deliver or not, that is another story. That jobs have hemorrhaged from the US because of trade deals is believable. That Hillary has another plan, other than more trade deals, is unbelievable. You know for sure that she will do TPP with a few minor mods. Anything in the platform that she is not interested in will die because she "can't get it past the Republican Congress."

Bernie was a full-throated critic of Clinton, loud, and persistent. Now he says that she is good. But the problem here is that he can only do it based on a comparison to Trump. In essence he is saying that, yes, she is a Wall Street owned, corrupt, Republican Lite, warmongering candidate .... but Trump. Sorry Bernie, but I can't vote for that ... ever!

Bernie is right in advising her to talk about the issues. But she won't because she is as bad an attack dog as Trump. The strategy has always been to marginalize trump as a wacko extremest. Just like Jimmy Carter did to Reagan. The problem with that strategy is the when people are actually exposed to Trump, he gets to appear as reasonable, completely undoing her strategy. I am predicting a big Trump win and a big Republican wave election in Congress. People are really fed up and having Obama stump for Hillary is as bad a move as possible. We will be digging out of this hole for a long, long time. I only hope that when Clinton loses, that Bernie does the intellectually honest thing and blames her and the Democratic Party for this mess. Then again, Trump may actually turn out to be a good president. You never know, especially with him. We do know that he will drain the swamp in DC and Hillary will keep all of the scoundrels in positions of power, neocons and neoliberals.

The problem with this logic, of course, is that a vote for Jill Stein is not a protest vote, but rather a vote to help Stein get 5% of the vote and some FEC funding for the Green Party.

I'm not voting green because it is the only sane thing to do. And according to a recent Lee Camp video both Greens and Johnson have 15% in the polls, but the polls are rigged like everything else.

I know Greens are no panacea. And Jill will get no support for her platform from the sociopaths running congress. But if she achieves one thing, it will be to veto most of the horrific bills coming out of congress. Shutting congress down for 4 years give us a breather from the onslaught of corruption.

All these lesser evil voters are fools, perpetuating their own misery.

Who was the real Mother Jones?

According to Wikipedia:

Mary Harris "Mother" Jones (1837 – 1930) was an Irish-born American schoolteacher and dressmaker who became a prominent labor and community organizer. She helped coordinate major strikes and cofounded the Industrial Workers of the World.

When I look at policies, I am aware that Jill is the superior candidate, not hillary, whose track record already speaks volumes of why NOT to vote for her, and I won't vote Trump as I never liked him when I lived in NY and saw him on the news mouthing off.
