Desperate David Brock Advertising He'll Pay For Dirt on Trump
From The Hill
This is about our 'friend' the man of many SuperPacs who bought up a slew of the liberal media outlets to become Hillary outlets and became chair of CREW in order to halt corruption investigations of Clinton
Clinton ally offers money for information on Trump
Clinton-ally David Brock has launched a new site modeled after WikiLeaks that offers cash rewards in exchange for information about Donald Trump, NBC News reported.
The site, called Trump Leaks, was created by Brock’s pro-Clinton super-PAC Correct the Record and is calling for tipsters to provide damaging information about Trump, though they call only for information obtained legally.
"We're chasing everything," Brock told NBC. Correct the Record has not specified how much they are willing to pay for intel.
If this isn't straight corruption, I don't know what is.
This is the press release from Correct the Record a year and a half ago - these are the same folks who we read in the spring started paying bloggers.
Sorry to post and run...

The race is getting tighter. The more people learn about the
Clinton creature, the more they hate.

Donald Trump is gaining some ground on Hillary Clinton in the polls, leaving the Democratic presidential nominee with a smaller lead heading into the crucial month of September.
Clinton opened her largest margin on Aug. 9, when she had a 7.6 percentage point advantage over Trump, the Republican nominee, in the RealClearPolitics average of national polls. At the time, she was consistently reaching 50 percent support.
But Clinton’s lead has shrunk since then, to 4.3 points in the RealClearPolitics average, and she’s fallen short of the 50 percent mark in the last six national polls. She has settled into the mid-40 percent range, presenting an opportunity for her Republican rival.
But despite the improving picture for Trump, Clinton remains the favorite to win.

More importantly,
Trump is beating Clinton in some swing states that she was winning just a week ago. She used to have a slight edge in NC, OH and FL, but 538 has them all with a slight Trump edge now (although she still has a little more breathing room in many of the other swing states, but she never gets more popular. All she can hope is that Trump does something to makes him even more unpopular).
We're not buying campaign's Russian excuse either!
In article on Clinton Foundation, Eric Draitser calls it like it is:

As the lies continue, we lose faith in her...the campaign spins more lies...we distrust her more. The downward spiral won't be stopped by finding dirt on Trump! Hillary needs to come clean herself!
if i was trump,
as soon as i caught wind of this i'd be setting up a web of really convincing bullshit about how i was .. i dunno, a serial child rapist. have a bunch of official trump employees silently corroborate the story. when brock brings the hammer down, all of those employees go international about how david brock is completely full of shit, then sue the seven-liter fuck out of CTR for libel. poof, david brock is bartending somewhere in new mexico.
and i'm just some dumbass with a computer. surely someone else has had this idea.

Maybe another crime would be more appropriate for this ploy...
Looks like there may be some credible evidence he DID rape a child (even if that grown child has not been successful in court against slightly higher-paid attorneys).

Hey, it's capitalism where everything is reduced to a commodity
and its(your) importance is determined by money.
Brock is a patriot to neoliberal society.

He can't find dirt on Trump?

Even amazed Trump at one point.
Even Trump was surprised when he said he could shot people and would still get votes. Given how the media attacks him daily, his position in the polls is still competitive. Brock is looking for some proverbial silver bullet to kill the Trump werewolf as nothing else seems to be working.
What dirt they have so far is not sticking
it's not shaking those who are loyal to him.

Hillary's 'pneumonia' has taken a turn for the worse?
Gëzuar!!
from a reasonably stable genius.
Since you brought that up
that's another rumor that seems to be picking up some steam--that not only has she taken a turn for the worse, she never survived Sunday and is deceased.
Do I believe that? Oh, hell no, not at all. That's way too stupid to be contemplating yet. But I'm sure there are folks that do believe it, so perhaps the campaign should stop assuming they can just hide her completely for six weeks? That's only going to intensify such rumormongering, so they better get a handle on that now.
Regarding Brock? He's looking for dirt, regardless--what a surprise. While it doesn't surprise me he'd advertise for it, this Hill piece about him also strikes me as one of those "Oooh! Look over there--SQUIRREL" moments...
After six weeks, they'll bring her back from the dead
on All Souls' Day, just in time for the election.

Her is out and about now,
or at least a very convincing body double is.
I did notice that the woman who practically rushed up the steps to the plane said a few words that couldn't be heard over the engine noise before bolting into the cabin. Hillary (on uppers)? Or a double? Could the Secret Service have arranged a decoy for the press, and snuck the "real" Hillary aboard at some earlier point? There certainly was plenty of opportunity, since that plane sat there for over an hour before "Hillary's arrival".
Not saying that is what happened, just wondering if it could have.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Well, I was kind of joking. :-)

If you can't beat 'em...
Except if it were really modeled after Wikileaks it wouldn't offer cash 'rewards' (except of course, when one of its sources gets murdered).
Not to mention Brock would be holed up in an embassy for years under virtual house arrest.
Hey, a guy can dream can't he?
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
Which embassy would it be?
I mean, other than ours.

Maybe Zimbabwe's?
I wouldn't recommend the Philippines' just right now though.

The problem with finding dirt on Trump
would be that it's probably extremely difficult to find dirt that Trump himself doesn't make public by just appearing on TV, or that he doesn't not just own, but boast about.
LOL!

Trump = Pigpen

There is no justice. There can be no peace.
The focus on...
the negative is getting old. Instead of talking about Trump (this legitimizes him as a candidate) why don't these fucking people simply talk about how they are different without talking about his odious personality? Why can't they say "this is what I want to do, and this is how it will benefit Americans."? Why do they constantly talk about what he wants to do when everyone already knows?
I say this as someone who would never vote for her, but she and her campaign team seem intent on making this a close election.
To paraphrase The Wolf Dressed Up as Grandma
speaking to Little Red Riding Hood: "The better to steal your votes, my dear..."
If they ran...
a competent campaign there would be no need...
Clinton's problem is that everything she would do in office
would likely harm or at least not benefit the 99%. She really doesn't have much to campaign on vis-a-vis 99% of us. Therefore she needs Trump to be her scarecrow.
"The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?" ~Orwell, "1984"
And that point right there, to me
is exactly how the Rump got into this horse race in the first place. Great way to put it, by the way, scarecrow, and about as full of substance as one too.
Only a fool lets someone else tell him who his enemy is. Assata Shakur
You mean
he got in the race at behest of the Clintons? Oh hell, yeah, I still believe that.
From that frame, his reaction to Hillary's "fainting" on 9/11 makes all kinds of sense. He's concerned about his friend.
It's also very savvy politics
Backing off on the attacks now, and publicly expressing concern about her health, allows him to pose as a Jerkass with a Heart of Gold, instead of Jerkass all the way to the bone. And it leaves that little doubt in the minds of the audience, "Is she really all that healthy?"
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Hillary's destroying her campaign, doesn't need Trump to do it.
Trump talking about maternity leave...his visit to the flood victims...He is coming across as having a heart. Hillary is coming across as a cold, pathological liar.
I think Hillary's continual attacking of Trump is starting to backfire. We tend to identify with the underdog on some level.
In the Commander In Chief forum, Hillary came across very angry and defensive. Trump actually sounded more reasonable.
Yes, I agree with you that Trump can stand back and let the Clinton campaign destroy itself. The three days of lies after Hillary collapsed is a good example.

Hillary is coming across as a cold, pathological liar.
That's always been her problem.
