Thanks to cell phones, the U.S. News Media is having some trouble spinning this one into a non-story.
I'm sure she will be medicated-up during the upcoming Debates to allow her to function for a few hours, but she is already having to rely on surrogates (Bill Clinton, Obama) to go out and do her actual retail campaigning for her. Her schedule has been reduced down to essentially just fundraising (bribery) from the top 1%.
This race might just be over in a couple of more weeks......

I hope Trump and Pence dropout
I hope Trump and Pence dropout too! Leave the campaign to Stein and Johnson!
maybe she's just got acrophobia
she's standing on some sort of platform way, way up there!
although it's great fun to speculate that she's got something terribly wrong with her, I don't really care about her physical health, short of her dropping dead any moment. What's more important to me is her way of thinking, which we all know about, I believe!
Or perhaps she's a
spastic.
There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.
And before I get rebuffed,
when I was there, it was called The Spastic Society.
Scope, or The Spastic Society
There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.
As proof:
There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.
Operation Hillary
Fainting at the 9-11 memorial service = political doom
Were this the only issue, it wouldn't be fatal. But this is far from the only issue. Judgement-wise, honesty-wise, transparency-wise, and, of course, health-wise. Her numbers took a 7 point tumble after her 9-11 crumple-stumble-crash according to one poll (sorry, no link). The pressure on her is not going to remit.
The upcoming debate (aka mud-slinging contest) will put Hidin' Hillary on a showcase observed by millions. If she doesn't show, she's toast. If she gaffes no big deal, Donald will match her gaffe for gaffe. But if she crumples, hacks, wheezes, sneezes or loudly farts she is a goner (get the Valium and the stretcher, boys. This one's still breathing--barely!)
Well, now that you mention it........

why pneumonia?
That's what I can't figure out. If they are going to make up a story, why pneumonia?
The could have said that she has the flu, that the flu has been going around the campaign headquarters, that she's dehydrated as a result, the event was a little too much, she was fine after lying down at Chelsea's for a couple hours, etc.
Why did they pick such a transparently phony story?
"The greatest shortcoming of the human race is our inability to understand the exponential function." -- Albert Bartlett
"A species that is hurtling toward extinction has no business promoting slow incremental change." -- Caitlin Johnstone
Because it covers
a Hillary Clinton, dropping out of sight of everybody for the next 6 weeks, is what someone guessed in another post here earlier. And it's actually not a bad guess--but I don't think they're going to get away with it. There are too many people doubting it.
Because the woman collapsed on video
and they needed something sufficiently serious to name in order to keep people from asking if it was worse than the explanation provided.

They did a terrible job
there are more holes in their "explanation" than Swiss cheese.
All these people have to do is just stop lying, you know? Then they wouldn't have all this stress on themselves to keep their bullshit stories straight....
I heard on the radio
She was back working on Thursday.
What does that mean?
Today is Wednesday. Are you predicting the future?
It was on the morning news
On the way to work this morning. I didn't catch it all but something about she told someone in a phone interview?
I am totally cut off from much of the news these days. Avoiding any election coverage like a contagious disease. Come here to read to find out what's interesting.
I would suspect there has been to much of an up roar over her health she probably feels she needs to get back out and prove she is healthy. I am in the "she's really sick with something serious" camp. She has been pretty remote and made really very few appearances during this campaign cycle. My guess is whatever she has going on is made worse by stress or being over tired. I do believe they were planning to run out the clock to be safe.
Oh, you didn't know that
Hillary does time travel and walks on water? You are out of the loop.
I heard on the radio
She was back working on Thursday.
Where did you hear that?
If that's true, then the Clinton camp is well-aware that people aren't buying the "pneumonia" story.
I would be shocked if she's actually back in a real working capacity...
I heard it on NPR
Here's a written piece somewhere else: https://www.yahoo.com/news/hillary-clinton-returns-campaign-trail-232315...

Pneumonia Virus Terrified After Remembering What Clintons Capable Of
NEWS IN BRIEF
September 12, 2016
Vol 52 Issue 36 Politics · Politicians · Hillary Clinton · Election 2016
WASHINGTON—Expressing regret over its reckless decision to infect the Democratic presidential nominee, the virus causing Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia was reportedly terrified Monday after remembering what the Clintons were capable of. “Oh shit, what the hell was I thinking—you don’t get on the wrong side of these people,” said the infectious agent, which became increasingly worried while recalling just how far the Clintons were willing to go to get what they wanted, as well as what often happened to those who dared to cross the powerful politicians. “Everybody knows you never mess with the Clintons. These people won’t hesitate to absolutely crush you, and they have the money and connections to do it. I knew I should’ve just stayed clear. I’m so fucked.” At press time, the horrified virus was reportedly planning to avoid the Clintons’ wrath by taking its own life.

If she has Parkinson's & can't protect her airway any more
(coughing fits), then she may ALSO have pneumonia. See:

Atop a box
Pretty sure it's been pointed out before here on 99 that the image shown is of Hillary speaking while (rather precariously) on a box. I'd want someone to hang onto me, too.
Did Bernie Sanders (74) need three people helping him stand?
Box or no box, who the heck ever needs three people helping them stand?
. Not me
. Not Bernie Sanders (74)
. Not Ron Paul (80 or whatever)
Was Bernie
wearing high-heels?
There is no such thing as TMI. It can always be held in reserve for extortion.
No, but Rudy Guiliani was ....
Was Hillary?
Doesn't she always wear flats?
Bernie on a box
Perhaps Bernie has better balance.
Seriously, where I come from, it would be considered rude for big strong men to not at least attempt to assist Hillary while she was perched on a soapbox ... whether she needed it or not. Which isn't to say she didn't need the assistance. Up until this past Sunday, I might not have believed she needed assistance and it was simply chivalry.
Now, though...
I had to go over to Youtube and comment!!
That dude from AMTV must be totally unglued to keep ranting and raving that the "radical left" is supporting Hillary! I am radical left, and I barely support Bernie (because he's a little too corporate for my taste.) But he seemed OK so I voted for him ;->
Great comment--
I tend to think of pols as either compromised, or not, these days, but on the old left/right way of judging them, that's more or less correct. I think Warren is a bit farther right than you think, but mostly, you're spot-on & make a very necessary point.
One Glenn Greenwald refuses to acknowledge--pretty much the only thing that seriously irritates me about him.
Must be all that former Republican in there--can't stop baiting the left.

The MSM is pathetic
in it's coverage, Hill has worked thru this before, she's a strong woman
yada, yada, yada, it is somewhat embarrassing to see the lengths they have gone through to protect the "establishment" candidate.
Sadly they've become nothing but stenographers and mouthpieces of hill campaign

Yes, but why?
Never this flagrant before. It's like Prometheus Unbound, especially at the Washington Post, which I expect will go belly up after the coronation, so disgusted are their readers with the obvious shilling. Since Bezos is a libertarian, you'd think he'd go with Gary Johnson, but no, he's got his stenographers working 24/7 for Hill. Does he know something about her plans that we don't?
Agreed except--
what actual campaigning?

Tupperware parties for billionaires
Right -- what campaigning?
The closest we've seen to campaigning recently is her showing up (evidently still breathing) at the 9-11 event. Of course, we all saw the result.
Apparently it's much easier to just get buckled into a seat at a luncheon table and collect cashiers checks.
Hill had fundraiser Friday night, with Babs Streisand,
after suspiciously getting diagnosis of pneumonia earlier that day. Apparently. Poor Babs should sue Hill for probably giving her pneumonia, especially since it threatens her singing voice. The little girl who miraculously ran up to our first woman president while she was waiting for her big, black Astro, should probably sue Hill also because now she'll miss the first two months of school. Not to mention all those unwitting victims of Typhoid Hill at the 9/11 memorial who kissed, hugged, and schmoozed with Hill.
Leaning on the podium at fundraiser.
I noticed in this photo how Hillary was discretely using the podium for support.

The person standing behind Hillary next to Man #1 is actually a woman if the long hair and short stature are any indication. Look at Man #1's nose and then down.
Has Bernie ever made
a campaign appearance for Her Highness? Elizabeth Warren ever made a stop? Anyone of note? (other than Obama - after reading the polls)? "There's never been a better Dem candidate. She's better than Bill, better than me, even!" [rolls eyes] yeah, bam bam, she's the greatest since JFK! [not] One of HRC's biggest problems is Elizabeth Warren and the party faithful won't campaign for her. She's just that well loved.

That's a very good point
I think Liz was out with her once or twice before she named her VP but I don't believe she has since,. Where are all those Dems? Conspicuous by their absence....very strange. And yes I have to laugh at the most qualified ever candidate-- had a little contretemps with someone a month or two ago on TOP, who was braying the same nonsense, that she was the most qualified candidate 'ever.' I asked, "Even more so than Thomas Jefferson, say?" No answer, of course.....

did Orwell say that? If not, he could have.
Hillary's collapse shows how strong she is. Her coughing fit shows how tough she is. Her time off the campaign shows what a fighter she is.
Then what is stupidity?
