Democrats advised candidates not endorse the policies of Black Lives Matter

Interesting article in Common Dreams.

Newly leaked documents show Democratic campaign officials advised U.S. House of Representatives candidates not to explicitly support "concrete policy solutions" proposed by the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement and to limit the number of activists invited to campaign appearances.

The Hill reports on memos leaked by hacker Guccifer 2.0 in the latest breach of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC):

Among the advised tactics, Democrats were counseled to engage with Black Lives Matter activists and "listen to their concerns" but to do so at "personal or small group meetings."

"If approached by BLM activists, campaign staff should offer to meet with local activists," the memo says. "Invited BLM attendees should be limited."

Unfortunately, these sorts of reports have come out before, and do not appear to have shaken their loyalty to establishment candidates, or their tendency to take out frustrations on candidates that address their concerns.

I went there to see what they recommended, but I didn't see any policy or legislative proposals. If a reader knows where those can be found, please comment below or send me a message.

"All Life is Problem Solving" - Karl Popper

A small sample under a page called "The Platform" linked to on their front page.

An immediate end to the criminalization and dehumanization of Black youth across all areas of society including, but not limited to; our nation’s justice and education systems, social service agencies, and media and pop culture. This includes an end to zero-tolerance school policies and arrests of students, the removal of police from schools, and the reallocation of funds from police and punitive school discipline practices to restorative services.

An end to capital punishment.

An end to money bail, mandatory fines, fees, court surcharges and “defendant funded” court proceedings.

An end to the use of past criminal history to determine eligibility for housing, education, licenses, voting, loans, employment, and other services and needs.

Why would psychopathic corporate Dems want to stop such desirable things? Profits and sick entertainment combining with the 'normalization' of the psychopathic corporate culture, where everyone else's life is cheap and anyone worth anything is worth real money...

Vote against both evils!

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

They state their principles, but I don't see any specific legislative or policy proposals.

On the other hand, M4BL does offer detailed policy proposals. Thanks!

not killing black people because of their skin color is central.

They approved Sanders racial justice platform, if that's any guide. (I guess Bernie didn't get the Pelosi memo.)

The original demands of BLM were Campaign Zero:

We can live in a world where the police don't kill people
by limiting police interventions, improving community interactions, and ensuring accountability.

A recent list that caused the Alan Dershowitz dust up is The Movement for Black Lives:

PLATFORM

Black humanity and dignity requires black political will and power. In response to the sustained and increasingly visible violence against Black communities in the U.S. and globally, a collective of more than 50 organizations representing thousands of Black people from across the country have come together with renewed energy and purpose to articulate a common vision and agenda.

And YGB:

The Young Gifted and Black Coalition is a circle of young leaders determined to end state violence and raise the voice of communities of color. We are young Black women, queer folks, straight folks and feminist men who are fighting for Black Liberation. Our focus is on the low income Black communities that our core members call home. Our strategy is centered on direct action and community organizing.
