Gee. All the "Smart Ones" with HRC
Submitted by EdMass on Wed, 08/31/2016 - 5:56pm
Let's see.
The Drumph goes to LA to the flood.
HRC and BHO, first no, second a week later post golf and daughter smoking weed.
The Drumph accepts the invitation of the Mexican President to come talk. He does. HRC? Nope.
Umm, I thought all the brains and $$$ were with HRC? Derp, polls shifting. Erp negatives between the tweeners now equal.
What the heck is going on?

Does the Big Horse Race Really Matter at the Moment?
Seems to me one can get more than enough stuff about it at TOPS/GOS.

I'm thinking (rare, I know)
of getting a "None of the Above 2016" sign for the front garden, if such a thing exists.

I'm considering a "Giant Meteor" sign myself
and I probably will have to make my own.

I like this one
CTHULHU 2016 Why settle for the lesser evil?
Benny! I love your avatar!
The horse race aspect is despicable. The fact we voters and members of the 99% will be stuck with the winner of this Derby does matter.

Where are all the old Sanders
Where are all the old Sanders & Stein posters? The site has become AntiClinton Trump voters and AntiTrump Clinton voters? Richard is upset about women being call Cwords and Bwords, but we aren't being moderated much lately, even though we now pay the moderator.
This sort of incomprehensible paranoia gets lots of notice and good solid liberal posts, not a comment, or a rec.
SOME of us are DONATING to the administrator, not the mods.
I don't agree with your post.
You're exhibit A for someone
You're exhibit A for someone who just seems like an AntiClinton Trupists. Reverse lesser evil. Don't care whether you agree, the site is dying and boring.
The horse race is
boring. And HRC is running an invisible campaign. "Just shut up and vote for her, you don't need to see Her Highness." Not much to report or comment on.

You're wrong again. Many of my posts advocated voting for Stein
(I will) and others advocated for other ways to try to improve the lot of the 99%.
I have posted all of two, count 'em, two, blog entries to criticize Hillary, although I hope to post another very soon. Those two blog entries consisted mostly of factual material. If you find a factual error in any of my posts, please do link me to a credible source that refutes my linked source. Please also feel free to ask me to support a claim you feel I have not supported.
I believe voting for the Clintons* this time is voting for the greatest long-term evil of the four 2016 Presidential hopefuls and others here agreed. And my posts shall continue to reflect (gasp!) my own political views, rather than yours.
You, of course, are free to post as many good things about Hillary and bad things about Trump as you desire. However, the only posts whose subject matter you get to control are your own. In that vein, if you think the site is boring, maybe post something more interesting than trashing the site and its posters; get facts right; and lose the name-calling and unprovoked personal insults.
Here! Here!
So, the Sanders voters are here, trying to figure out what to do. Our Revolution or not? Voting or not? Write-in Bernie? Vote Stein? Vote Trump?
The Stein voters are all here and still talking, and what we're thinking of is how to get Stein over 5%. As far as I know.
And by the way, the mods don't get paid.

You don't read a lot here, I guess...
This place is festered with Sanders and Stein crazies!
Oh, BTW, I don't think I'm OLD.
Let's keep up, shall we?

Still intending to vote for Stein this November...
Frankly, I've moved on from Sen. Sanders (and his movement).

The horse race is really starting to matter.
Most people don't pay attention to the presidential race until after Labor Day. Trump was wise to sit on his hands through the summer and let Clinton burn through funds. Expect to see his activity ramp up over the next few weeks, and expect him to take the lead in the polls.
To me, what Matters is a 4 way Race
Because HC is not that much ahead when one puts in Stein and Johnson.
There are times I wish pollsters called my house more often, but they won't. I live in IL. I have seen a few Johnson signs out in the yards. But I expect more will come out after this weekend.

I agree that the more votes escape Thing One and Thing Two
the better. However, Libertarians are considered rightists, though they are not the religious right or the "strong defense" right. If we vote to send a message, I would so much rather that message be that we want to see the nation go further left. Of the four candidates who are on the ballot in a good number of states, Stein is the only leftist. But, yes, far better Johnson than Thing One or Thing Two. And, for the future, it's so important that Stein get at least 5% of the vote.

There was a nice map showing all the states which the Greens
are on the ballot.
Is there one for the Libertarians ? Gary Johnson? Oddly enough, if he is on enough states, we might get him as none of the above.

I did not bother to grab the remote when I saw Mike Pence.
Turned out he discussed issues. I didn't really pay much attention after he said," I am a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order." I am sure little to nothing he said would have appealed to me. However, it then struck me that, so far, all I've heard Hillary and Trump do is attack each other. So, props to Pence for at least remembering the rest of America while those two self-absorbed fools are "become like sounding brass."
the rather unbelievable Hillary website
https://www.hillaryclinton.com/
First thing you see: "Watch: Trump's immigration ink blot"
Second thing: "Donald Trump is about to meet the President of Mexico. Which of these tweets might they discuss?"
Third thing: "There's a reason white supremacists like Donald Trump"
finally, the fourth thing is Hillary oriented: "The vintage photos behind President Clinton's story of falling in love..."
which, if anyone thinks it's heart-warming, is really sad. They've got a marriage that works for them but one which is fairly repulsive to a lot of people. So far 3 items about Trump, 1 BS article about Hillary and Bill.
Fifth thing: "112 reasons (and counting!) Hillary Clinton should be our next President"
which include gems like "21. She’s the only Democrat with hedge-fund billionaires running ads against her—because they know her agenda is to stop their agenda."
Sixth thing: "8 things you need to know about Tim Kaine, our next Vice-President"
and the Seventh thing: "Join the official campaign—and help stop Donald Trump!"
That's her campaign. "I'm not Donald Trump". Can it be said by Jill Stein and what's-his-name Anderson? Yeah, I think so. I guess her full campaign is "I'm not Donald Trump and people vote for Democrats or Republicans because they don't know there are other choices"
Man, I hate that b-word!
