I've been watching too much Ancient Aliens! Missed that show and never heard of it. I'm now in the process of watching season 6 and I'm now seeing aliens everywhere I go, and one dude with really weird hair. TOP is filled with them. They're certainly not Grey's, as they have no intelligence. And they're by no means giants over there. I'm pretty sure they're the reptilians that crawled out from under a rock. I count myself lucky to have seen O-B live 2ce and it was
before Danny E. discovered the money to be made from movies. They got after it and they were good shows.

Best live shows I've seen were "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers" in 1998, and "Bowling For Soup" last year.

It was outdoors in a street fair setting and it was when the
band had its fullest complement and there were even two bass marimbas for Danny and another to play on occasion.
Their PA system was very good but stressed. Elfman was intense and in good voice. I saw the two shows the same weekend and I think they had 3 albums out. It was before Weird Science was issued so it was more punk influenced.
I've seen quite a few shows like The Kinks, Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Benatar(wow! what a sound system she had) and the like and O-B had every bit of stage presence and excellent ensemble playing as anyone. I think they qualify as wonderful - in my mind they were. Of the singer/songwriter genre only Buffy Sainte-Marie had a comparable band. Dylan was far behind the ones I've mentioned.

I think one of the best live shows I have ever seen was when
I caught Rush in Sacramento in like '92 or '93?
They are not my favorite band, or even style of music, but the AMOUNT of amazing sound just those three guys could perform was amazing to behold.
Watching Geddy Lee play a guitar with one hand. a keyboard with another while blowing into a harmonica was pretty damn impressive to behold.
My probably all time favorite show though was also in Sac, Fear Factory opening up for White Zombie.
It's kinda of a toss up though between several, The Police in Atlantic City in '83 was pretty awesome as well as Metallica in Philly in '85.
Damn, now that I think about it I have been to a shitload (that's metric right?) of concerts, lol!

I agree and I think that's why they should allow discussion of

Humor is good for the soul! I happen to glance over there last night looking to see something that would make me laugh before I went to bed. And there it was, my bedtime story! I couldn't resist, I had to click it.

...just so I can Recommend a diary that everyone else has blasted and no one has yet recommended. Usually they're the ones that praise Jill Stein, criticize the DNC, or question Hillary's intentions.
I read through the new "rules," and sure enough, there's a warning about Rec'ing diaries that break the other rules. So far I haven't received any warnings, but seriously, what are they going to do to me? I don't comment, just hit Rec. (In fact, I haven't been able to comment for months (since way before the dark days of March 2016) -- all I've been able to do since the latest version is type a comment, preview it, and then it goes into oblivion. No way to Save or Post.)
Not that I care anymore. I'll just keep Recommending the diaries that I love and that piss them off. It's kind of fun.
