Please excuse the short post, but I thought some of you might like the link.
Hope you are all having a good weekend.
Here's the afternoon live stream we watched with all the speeches...

Assange is scheduled to speak...
at some point this afternoon. Sorry he already spoke this AM - I'll look for a clip
He is 2 hours 29 min into the first clip.
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Cornell West just said
He mentioned Julian as having already spoken. Maybe after I'm finished watching, I'll go look for his appearance.
Thanks for the link.
Here is Assange address to the Green Party Convention
Not sure if this is his whole talk or not.
Length 4:05

Brother Cornel speaking now
It's about 2 pm central time
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Oh shit! Green Convention hits snag!
Alabama has a problem. Some bylaw violation. Can't hear. Oh good a mic.
We have till late August in Alabama
so may be we can still swing it.
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Arguing, chanting
Mic dropped.
Dispute resolution committee co chair said no official dispute resolution filed. Lady said something about BLM & that she was discriminated against.
Another co chair asked to speak with her after votes.
Oh, not sure the lady was from Alabama, because a white guy is talking for Alabama. This is going to take a while.
Ah crap, here comes the redemption of BLM in the media...
To show how awful Jill Stein's supporters are.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
Short clip of Assange
Analysis by TYT of Assange Convention appearance

WikiLeaks's Julian Assange, in an address to the Green Party Convention, said that the Clinton campaign's tactic of encouraging Americans to vote for her to avoid a Trump presidency is "a form of extortion." He also discussed the importance of sticking to one's principles so that the movement does not become marginalized.

Connecticut is crying n/t
Why, what's up with CT?
I have not had time yet to view the video.

I think CT rep was moved or overwhelmed
The super supportive green crowd encouraged her, and she got through it. She was there alone, but I'm betting she feels anything but alone now.
These people really are making a great impression on me! So supportive and not a bunch of propaganda. It's refreshing. So glad I'm getting to see it, even though it's lagging on my end at times.
Maine just gave me goosebumps
Native American song and short spoken sentence. Too cool!
This is NOTHING like the RNC/DNC. The delegates actually mention things bad in their states, like industrial prison complex, racism, etc..
Just chanted "Jill not Hill!"
Think it was The Green Party Women Caucus.
Said women were property and finally allowed to vote in 1920. Said they wanted a woman president, but not a war mongering corporate shill (not sure if shill was the exact word). That brought them to their feet and the chanting began.
Alabama and Missouri not present n/t
That's Kentucky and Missouri
Alabama was there and cast a delegate vote.
Surprise Jill is the official candidate!
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Yes, Kentucky
I'm trying to listen and read and type. Geesh, how do kids do it?
And yes, surprise!

Chanting, "We are the 99 percent!"
Too cool!
Jill just gave an amazing speech. She learned to pause for applause and chanting. So much energy!
How Tweet It Is: 'Blue Vote Is Wasted Vote'
A truth of the nuclear age/climate change: we can no longer have endless war and survive on this planet. Oh sh*t.
Stream is over
I enjoyed the convention. Hope some of you did as well. Brother Cornel was inspiring. Ajamu Baraka and Jill were good. Seemed like a good vibe in the crowd. All I can say is...
of course you'll have to say what you will as well.
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Thank you Lookout
I am going to watch the whole convention later. My main advise to the Greens is get some good techies their feeds are terrible. Loved Cornell West and once they resolved the technical difficulties really liked hearing from Julian Assange. How many people were there and how do they pick the delegates? I'm voting Green this time around and hope they are willing and able to build there party to become a viable challenge to the duopoly. Going off now to find out more about the Greens and how they work. Thanks again.
Glad to do it!
I'm not sure of the rules, but the whole scene was certainly more to my liking than the plastic approach of the rethugs or demorats. I'm happy to vote green.

Last day for Stein matching funds donations?
Does anyone know whether the last day for federal matching funds donations (up to $250) for Stein is today, Sat., 8/6, or tomorrow, Sun., 8/7?
Edit:
I can no longer find this info on the jill2016.com site (where I saw it before) nor on her Twitter feed, which on Sat. is merely encouraging people to donate "today."

GP host obliged, after saying "No More War" chants welcomed here
Only into the first three minutes of the video and already the stark distinction between the other two convention cesspools of fascism is so refreshing. Crowd chants full-throatedly. Can't wait to listen to Cornel, imo one of the most electrifying orators the country has ever seen.
Will bounce around this roundup when I can. Thanks lookout, and everybody else contributing here!
