Ballotpedia.org
The other day I wrote a short essay about creating a progressive voting guide. It would be cool if it was for every candidate for public office everywhere. However, I am going to start with only the candidates who will be on my ballot here in Navarro County, Texas. Maybe that is all I will have time for.
Yesterday I started searching for candidate information and I discovered Ballotpedia, https://ballotpedia.org/Main_Page. Looks like a great resource so far. There are three incumbent candidates that I am most interested in unseating. The first is my US Representative, Joe Barton. There is a Democrat candidate and a Libertarian candidate running against him. I will research both of them and see who I want to support.
Sadly, there are many republicans running unopposed in Texas. From now until August 22 is when write-in candidates sign up in Texas. You need 500 signatures for most offices. My state representative, Byron Cook, is running unopposed. I am definitely going to look for someone to run as a write-in against him.

Congrats on your new website...
All that is coming up is a login page.

Thanks
So far I have only installed the CMS software, but didn't know it was only coming up to a login page.

Thanks for the Ballotpedia reference.
It looks as if you have taken on a pretty big project. Keep us informed as you expand. From what I know of Texas politics, you have a Herculean task. Actually, thinking of Gohmert, Abbott, and the rest, the Augean stables sounds appropriate.

Yes . . . too big for just me . . .
but what if everyone here did a progressive voter guide for just their area?
I can handle my little area, but if everyone did that for where they live???? And then they just print out flyers on their own computers?
I think this is where it really gets "grassroots."

I just found this list of Green candidates.
Some of these people are in Texas. I hope it's useful:
