Clinton the Censor

Clinton must not be allowed to pick the next Supreme Court Justices. This has nothing to do with the base social issues like gay marriage, abortion or any other topic which she claims is the big issue. This has to do with a fundamental issue in Clinton's thoughts.

Clinton thinks that she and her friends know BETTER than you what you can read and write and play. Clinton has already proven multiple times to be a big fan of censorship. She's demanded Snowden be prosecuted. She Attacks whistleblowers without mercy. She hates any release of government information. She personally has introduced bills to censor what entire industries can talk about, based off nothing but the word of scaremongers.

And She and her husband were big proponents of the Telecommunications Decency Act. The first MAJOR attempt by the US Government to shut down the nascent internet in 1996. A grotesque strike against free speech which was partially struck down by the Supreme Court. Of course, it also lead to the grotesque media monopolies we have now, who have repaid her in full by never mentioning her crimes.

The media has been covering for Clinton very well this election, but the internet has been showing exactly what kind of integrity they have. A Clinton Supreme Court would look very favorably on any bills that went through that eliminated the competition for their friends.

Is this a conspiracy theory? Not at all. This is simply assuming that everything is above board. The Media has done NOTHING to hide their bias. What could they possibly get out of this? The Status Quo, which is threatened. Already in China we have seen the censorship of social media through internet providers. It would take only a few simple regulations, done for ONLY the purest of motives, to do exactly the same thing here.

VERY leery about being a Democrat. They LIKE controlling what people read, write, watch and play.
Feinstein, and Boxer from my old home state were some of the WORST about it, and always made me very uncomfortable.
Irony is that by giving the corporations so much power in controlling public discourse, they've completely lowered the quality of it. Corporations care nothing for art, creativity, etc... all they care about is selling to as many as possible. Hence why this election has the stupidest arguments I've ever seen in an election. She is the worst case voting option.

I will be voting for Jill Stein, but for all of Trump's alleged "racism" (he's not a real racist, he's just 'politically incorrect', and then the Media trumps it up with heightened innuendo), Trump is much better on key issues: rethinking perpetual Global War and corrupt Regime Change chaos, Manufacturing,Trade, and the American Job base, and stopping the waste of trillions of dollars overseas that we do not have, Independence from global banksters (WTO, NATO) and "global government". At least he has an Independent streak which means he will at times defy GOP orthodoxy, and defy Bankster orthodoxy, and (corrupt) Washington Think-Tank policy scripting (unlike Clinton on the major issues).

I will be happy when she loses, and her shameful political career comes to an end --- no matter who else wins for the moment. The progressive / liberal movement will be far more alert, agitated and build far more rapidly with Trump over 4 years, then it ever will with another corrupt faux-Democratic in power to give "false hope" while working to block off any true progressive movement within the Party, and making things like the TPP acceptable to liberals. No thanks.

is what we should be worried about. Clinton and Trump are tossing around a lot of ink to try to cover up their real agendas. Hillary's of course is to make money for her contractors which is a 3 part plan:

1. War
2. Criminalization and Enforcement
3. Deregulation and Subsequent Bail Outs

Of course, that's just going off track record, so there may be more nuance.

and what is to one a reasonable defense of freedom to speak out (and incite hate with it) is to the next the responsibility to defend against reckless sedition. I think it's hard to make a black and white statement about the dangers or potential advantages of hate speech laws. It's not the fault of the Hate Speech laws that there are demagogues who try to abuse them. These laws are abused by both sides, those who are for them for their own advantageous abusive reasons and those who are against them, also for their own advantageous abusive reasons.

But you know, I know, that's a typical German view... in the eyes of many non-Germans. It's always a matter of what kind of pair of glasses you wear, imo.

Hillary Clinton Goes to Militaristic, Hawkish Think Tank, Gives Militaristic, Hawkish Speech
Glenn Greenwald

Sep. 9 2015

... Brookings is funded in part by one of the Democratic Party’s favorite billionaires, Haim Saban, who is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Israel and once said of himself: “I’m a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel.” Pollack advocated for the attack on Iraq while he was “Director of Research of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy.” Saban became the Democratic Party’s largest fundraiser — even paying $7 million for the new DNC building — and is now a very substantial funder of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. In exchange, she’s written a personal letter to him publicly “expressing her strong and unequivocal support for Israel in the face of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction movement.” ...

... As for Israel itself, Clinton eagerly promised to shower it with a long, expensive, and dangerous list of gifts. Here’s just a part of what that country can expect from the second President Clinton:

I will deepen America’s unshakeable commitment to Israel’s security, including our long standing tradition of guaranteeing Israel’s qualitative military edge. I’ll increase support for Israeli rocket and missile defenses and for intelligence sharing. I’ll sell Israel the most sophisticated fire aircraft ever developed. The F-35. We’ll work together to develop and implement better tunnel detection technology to prevent arms smuggling and kidnapping as well as the strongest possible missile defense system for Northern Israel, which has been subjected to Hezbollah’s attacks for years.

She promised she “will sustain a robust military presence in the [Persian Gulf] region, especially our air and naval forces.” She vowed to “increase security cooperation with our Gulf allies” — by which she means the despotic regimes in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar, among others. She swore she will crack down even further on Hezbollah: “It’s time to eliminate the false distinction that some still make between the supposed political and military wings. If you’re part of Hezbollah, you’re part of a terrorist organization, plain and simple.”

Then she took the ultimate pledge: “I would not support this agreement for one second if I thought it put Israel in greater danger.” So even if the deal would benefit the U.S., she would not support it “for one second” if it “put Israel in greater danger.” That’s an unusually blunt vow to subordinate the interests of the U.S. to that foreign nation.

But when it comes to gifts to Israel, that’s not all! Echoing the vow of several GOP candidates to call Netanyahu right away after being elected, Clinton promised: “I would invite the Israeli prime minister to the White House during my first month in office to talk about all of these issues and to set us on a course of close, frequent consultation right from the start, because we both rely on each other for support as partners, allies and friends.” She then addressed “the people of Israel,” telling them: “Let me say, you’ll never have to question whether we’re with you. The United States will always be with you.” For good measure, she heaped praise on “my friend Chuck Schumer,” who has led the battle to defeat the Iran Deal, gushing about what an “excellent leader in the Senate” he will make. What’s a little warmongering among friends? ...

I read it when it came out last year.
It's so depressing that with all of the evidence that Hillary is a warmonger and a threat to the world, even if her supporters read this article and the ones I posted links to below, it wouldn't change their minds.
Hillary has shown that she is a warmonger, but people, especially those on DK either don't believe it.
I just don't get it.
Would Trump be worse than Hillary? Well we might have a chance to find out because right now his polling shows that he is beating her.
The polls have always shown that Bernie had the best chance of beating him but people threw him away.
Damn them because she is going to kill a lot of innocent people.

It's OK, she seems to kinda enjoy killing people, and her supporters always seem to figure that they won't be any of the victims.

I posted bits of this and other articles all over DKos; the most common response of the few Hillary supporters who bothered to respond was generally a complaint relating to the length the posts took up/amount of scrolling needed to get past them.

Her presidency would be disastrous not only for this country, but for the world.
Here is an excellent article showing the reasons why.

Hillary Clinton is a warmonger whose potential election as President of the United States this November poses an existential threat not just to Americans but to all of humanity.Hillary Clinton is a neocon, a war hawk, a liar, an unindicted criminal and a Wall Street puppet. Why is it, then, that those on the so-called “progressive” left who would be warning against her if she had an “R” next to her name are instead lecturing other leftists that it is now their duty to fall in line and help her get elected?

But as Michel Chossudovsky of (http://www.globalresearch.ca/)points out, this election is fundamentally different. This time, the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

MICHEL CHOSSUDOVSKY: “In so many words Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy stance is ‘to blow up the planet.’ She has made statements to the effect that a first-strike nuclear attack against Russia or Iran is on the table. So that if she is in the White House she could in fact unleash the unspoken, which is World War 3. I think this is something we have to address both in terms of analysis and also political choice. That anyone who wants to blow up the planet is not ‘progressive.’
“Secondly, she has a criminal record. Not only in regards to the email scandal but also in relation to The Clinton Foundation, which is involved in fraud, money laundering, political cronyism, etc. It is amply documented.
“So that, in effect, the choice for the American people is to elect a war-criminal.”

mho This whole election is being staged to get the Clinton's back in the White House.
We saw how DWS, the DNC, media and others were complicit in stealing this election from not only Bernie, but more importantly us.
Starting with the DNC and and Hillary lined up getting 34 delegates to back her before she announced that she was running for president.
The fraud of the DNC and her victory fund where most of the money donated to down ticket campaigns went to her victory fund instead.
The stupid debate schedule, the media ignoring Bernie and the thousands of people who went to his rallies, the many people like McClaskill who red baited Bernie's ideas, Chelsea saying that Bernie's ideas on bringing universal health care was going to dismantle the ACA and leave people without health insurance, and many others who lied about Bernie.
We cannot fathom the level of money and power the Global Elite have and are wielding against the People of Earth.
The Clinton's owe favors to the world-wide %.001. Hillary used her position at the state department as SOS to put money in Bill's pocket and their foundation from foreign governments and financial institutions who donated to the foundation after Bill gave a paid speech and the state department sold them weapons regardless of their human rights violations.
Many financial and other companies that had business with the US government and the state department for their wrongdoings asked Hillary to intervene and help them avoid penalties or prosecution. Again, Bill would get paid to give a speech, Hillary would fix their problems and they would donate to the foundation.
The Global Elite were hoping this election would be their final coup against us. [TPP, etc.]
Unfortunately for them, instead of the quiet coronation they were planning, Bernie woke us up and we will be watching and resisting from now on.

This is an excellent article that states that Hillary Clinton is a threat to all of humanity and I hope that people will read it.

It is no hyperbole to say that the election of Hillary Rodham Clinton as president this November would be one of the greatest tragedies in the history of the United States, and perhaps the world. It is incumbent on people of all stripes–American and non-American, Republican and Democrat, progressive and libertarian, anarchists, and those who have never thought about politics a day in their life–to protest her nomination at the Democratic National Convention, work against her campaign for President, and avert the nuclear nightmare that is now coming into view.

Keep hammering home these arguments for #NeverHillary, because the World really does not need this neoliberal neocon duo back in the White House. This woman psychopath scares the crap out of me, especially with her Red Scare McCarthy Era Redux bs being launched before she even puts the crown on her head.

Also, I just don't like her. Never have. And the more I see and hear of her the more I dislike her. Probably why she's been the Invisible Candidate for most of this election - the more people are exposed to her the more they are reminded how unlikeable she is.

Call me naive, I thought the notion of a Supreme Court was to have a panel of experts determine the validity of the technical (legal) issues presented to the court.
Every step of judicial process (in this country) supports the above interpretation. Perhaps the issue is that the Supreme Court (as a systemic element) have been abused and we should insist it be restored to its intended purpose.
