Good morning everyone.
Have had a lot of things going on in the last few days, so have not had a chance to keep up with what is going on here at C99.
So I'll start with JtC and his battle with health issues. I want to add my best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery. We are all pulling for you, Johnny.
Don't really have a subject to start this Open Thread with, so I'll leave it up to you guys.
What I'm thinking about this morning is the suspiciously worded NSS just issued by the White House.
Can anything be trusted coming out of there?

The NSS is good in the mention of better relations with Russia. It doesn't say a word about Israel, or the Trump Resort in Gaza coming soon.
It reads like typical Republican campaign slogans.
It is chilly but sunny, too bad I am stuck at the office.
Oh, well, it isn't like I am not in the office all the time!
Thanks for the OT, and I will be looking for commentary about the NSS as the day passes.
JtC got a great cancer antigen test result yesterday. His count had gone up to 55 on the scale, but is now at 5. 4 is normal range.

Good news
regarding the better(?) half. I hope that kind of news is the only thing growing.
On the NSS front, "strategic stability" with Russia does not sound friendly to me. And reasserting the Monroe Doctrine does not involve "free market principals".
And get our 3LAs and our military out of Central and South American countries to end chronic migration.
The NSS looks like a verbal Trojan horse to me.
The Russians are a lot smarter than that and have learned how to think like dumbass western pols to counter their every move.

If the new paper published by the trumpsters is anything
like most of the razzmatazz coming from that mill, there may
be a couple gems hidden in the weeds. 'National security' has
become another obfuscation for the purpose of hiding the agenda
of the elites from the masses. Fortunately, people are slowly awakening
to the wool being pulled over our eyes. It is quite obvious to this community
and has been for a good while. Stay informed.

thataways, so rain indeed. Chilly but dry here (chilly for us, anyway) Ditto your best wishes for JtC, always. On the run here since 6 am, maybe another hour or so before I can kick back a little. Includes intracting with the outside world and outside forces, always frustrating and a hassle.
If NSS is the one I think it is Somebody (Lee Camp) described it as a retreat from China and a focus on owning Central and South America plus, the good old ,em> anybody else acting contrary to our interests, whatever the fuck those interests are alleged to be at any given moment.
