It Becomes Clearer
When we said that the DNC was favouring [against its own charter] one primary candidate over another this was deemed to be a conspiracy theory.
It was blatant with respect to the debates and their scheduling and a concerted internet campaign biased against one candidate.
Now that it has been proved to be true the same line of attack as always is being used, blame the messenger.
Nobody has claimed that any of the emails have been tampered with so basically what follows at best is irrelevant.
There reply to the fact of the matter can until it can be proved otherwise is a conspiracy theory based solely on the timing of the release. It goes along the lines of
The Russians [because the wiki hacker may be Russian] did this to undermine American democracy.
Trump is working with the Russians, hence Putin.
I will say it once more, nobody from the DNC has indicated tampering with the emails.
It's funny how whistle blowers are treated by those that label themselves "liberals" if they dare to release data that implicates the Party/Party leaders of playing dirty. Manning, Greewald and Snowden for example. Their willingness to pardon torture and accept lame excuses of war crimes another example. They have driven them out, yet hail Hillary as integrity personified when she put State Department security at risk.
Now we have the ostrich manoeuvre and then followed by screams of "It's A Plot"!
Now they may well be correct, but where is the proof? Even if they are correct, the Russians did not write the emails themselves.
There is a big difference between the two cases above, the DNC episode was based on actualities without blaming anyone else but the DNC.The Russian Conspiracy is based upon trying to find something to deflect what was proved to be correct, then throw a Trump+ Putin plot for good measure.
Now the actual threat to our democracy is the one where are elections are manipulated by a supposedly neutral organisation. The shouts about loyalty and unity mean very little when the system is obviously rigged. Now start throwing around foreign intervention in the process without a shred of proof is dangerous in itself, far more so than just confining the shouting match to within the Democratic Party.
DWS has been slapped on the wrist then lauded, then again it was not her fault, it is how the DNC is meant to function, unfairly. That's their business, but they should drop the pretence of a fair democratic process.
Personally I don't care how the DNC runs their Party's primary elections [there are many closed party elections around the world], what I do care about is the transparency of the process, I can always chose to/not to vote for them at any time I feel like. If I had known beforehand I would have not voted in the VT primary, I have better things to waste my time doing.
If you want a coronation process for "Grand Poobah"; fine, but don't pretend it is anything else.
Just a thought.
I notice H R Clinton is the chief cheerleader in "It's a Russian Plot" and probably a vast one at that.
Quelle surprise.
Not.

Let's see, they piss on me and say it's raining and then want to be let in....fuck that noise.

Hillary Windsock Clinton
She says five words and lies ten times.
Hillary's answer to people who ask her questions
There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?
Harris is unburdened of speaking going forward.
the simple answer is 'yes'
yes, it would be improper. OMG!! does she have to poll test 'yes' for an answer before she'll say?
Silly! It would be improper
Silly! It would be improper for ordinary people to do anything of the kind - but rules and laws simply do not apply to the Clintons!
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
Her actions speak louder than her non-words.
She just hired the person that did exactly that to be the "honorary chair" of her campaign's outreach effort, so she obviously feels that not only is it not improper, but she believes that such behavior deserves to be rewarded.
And the spin comes in with
And the spin comes in with the application of any permutation of the word 'honor' to anything handled by DWS.

LOL
What a clown. My brother raised an excellent point yesterday. He said if Hillary put out a more honest ad, she might actually connect with voters:
"Look. We all know I cheated. But as I see it, if you aren't cheating you aren't trying. And what else do you notice? I'm still here. It's a tough life and you gotta do what you gotta do. When the chips fall, who's the one you want on your side? Me. I'll be the last one standing."
I get the point about honesty
But we should not support a cheater, no matter how honest she is now. That would destroy our own integrity.
I know what you said is snark, but I wanted to make that point anyway. We really, really need to stop holding politicians to such low standards. This whole idea that politicians lie and cheat all the time and that it's OK, it's the norm, is really NOT okay.
I wish I could say I don't believe this but...
Hillary Clinton just picked Debbie Wassermann Schultz to be her chair person for her 50 state election strategy. Unbelievable!! Nothing like failing upward. There was a nugget of unintentional truth put forward in the statement by the Clinton campaign... “will continue to serve as a surrogate for my campaign nationally.” Just like she did at the DNC.
Why do I feel like someone is poking me in eye with a sharp stick?
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

Because; metaphorically they are poking you with a stick

a wee correction
DumbDebbie was picked to be "Honorary" Chairman.
means nothing, a sop
DumbDebbie may not be as dumb as she looks, must have a LOT of information Clintons don't want made public, or they would have thrown her under the proverbial moving vehicle.
If she had incriminating
info on the Clintons she'd be the victim of mugging gone wrong or suicide with twenty shots to her back.
There is no such thing as TMI. It can always be held in reserve for extortion.
Honorary chair
They've decided to pay DWS to get out of the way and shut the hell up before she can do any more damage, that's all.
Picking DWS for her 50 state election strategy
Is brilliant. For Hillary.
Think about it. Look at the candidates that DWS and the DNC supported during the 2010 midterm elections. As people have pointed out, almost everyone of them didn't run on Obama's achievements, especially the ACA and most of them lost to a republican. If Obama was upset that he lost both houses of congress then wouldn't you think that he would have fired DWS for doing such a bad job?
If my job was to get X done but I failed horribly I would expect to be fired.
But not having both houses under the democrats it gives him cover to hide behind the republican's obstruction on getting his agenda passed.
Look how he became a little more progressive on the bills that he wanted to passed but couldn't because the big bad republicans said "no, we won't lets you do that".
Perfect cover. Plus he knew that many democrats weren't on board with the TPP, but the republicans are.
Gawd, has there been a more ineffective president that couldn't get congress to fall in line?
Of course this is all kabuki theater anyway. When the Dems are in control, the republicans place holds or filibuster bills that they don't want passed, yet for some reason when the democrats are the minority party they don't use either of those things.
There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?
Harris is unburdened of speaking going forward.
It's a feature not a bug
The back and forth interactions of the dems & repubs only make sense if you view it from the point that they are on the same team, with very similar end goals. In that perspective, it all makes sense!
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

They have very similar funders and 'lucrative-job creators'...

CT being whatev management decides for the week. I am starting new CT. Since Hill is a Zionist, why did she not enlist Mossad to help set up the server? Hey--police are trained by soldiers (ret) from Israel, even flight attendants for Emirates Air get body-handling training from them. She would not even bat an eye if Israel had a direct ear in US dealings, I am sure.

Some of them are very funny. I like the ones that say that Hillary won't answer 60 minute's questions about the emails and the one that asks if what the people at the DNC wrote is wrong.
I'm wondering if they had released the emails before the election if it would have had made a difference.
But over on LOF it doesn't matter of Hillary's Iraq vote or what she did during her time as SOS. I think not since they think that she did such a great job and that gave her the experience to be president.
There is so much evidence that she is a warmonger because of her trying to get Obama to increase the number of troops sent to Afghanistan during the surge, how she laughed after watching the video of Gaddafi being tortured then murdered by being sodomized with a knife, her trying for a no fly zone over Syria regardless of it risking a war with Russia and her past history of being for every military intervention.
She can't do anything wrong in their eyes.
I'm sure that if anyone wrote a diary about the Clintons Cash and included the video they would dismiss it because it came from Breibart's website.
I'm also curious about how many voted for Obama instead of Hillary in 08 because of her history are voting for her now and saying that she is the most qualified person even though she has more baggage now then she did then.
Markos wrote a scathing opinion is 2007 stating how unqualified she was to be president.
There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?
Harris is unburdened of speaking going forward.
You have to wonder what Bernie Sanders is feeling
right now. It's as if Hillary is doing everything possible to humiliate and degrade him. This is like spitting in his face. She can't be content that she won the nomination and that Bernie endorsed her. She has to go further and rub his face in it.
This behavior reminds me an awful lot on the way she reacted to Qaddafi after he was killed. There is something very sick in the mind of Hillary Clinton. There is an evil inside her that actually frightens me. I really want to vote for Jill Stein in November, but if these types of things keep continue with the Clinton campaign I may have to, once again, cast my vote for the lesser of two evils, and my vote won't be going to Hillary.

The pressure being applied must be immense
I have never seen him roll over this easily
Never interfere
when your opponent is making a mistake.
The Democratic Party, the DNC, and the HRC campaign is showing themselves as exactly who they are. The corrupted media can't even resist the spectacle. You really want Bernie to step in?
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
He might not need to step in,
He might not need to step in, but he certainly shouldn't provide cover.
Have you ever heard the admonition
to be graceful in hardship and grateful in easy times? I think Bernie would understand since he is so good as a model for the idea. Being gracious can look an awful lot like weakness or, as you put it, cover. Consider the strength of character it takes to stand in the face of so much nasty opposition while remaining gracious and positive. Most of us can't imagine it or appreciate it much less do it. Read these pages from this weekend if you doubt my point.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
I understand the idea...
but I'm not sure I consider it a virtue in this circumstance.
It is his style though, no?
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
Bernie has played a fine line
Bernie has played a fine line between gracious and fire breather throughout the campaign. I think there is a time for both. He's in a tough position. He advocated for ending corruption in the party, vociferously. Now he's endorsing the result of that corruption. Maybe you find it gracious. It comes across more as neutered to me. I don't believe in unicorns or fairies, but I do believe in democracy, and Bernie is allowing corruption to win. Nothing the DNC has done in response to the WikiLeaks has changed a damn thing. The election will end, Hillary or the DNC will likely not be held accountable. They still win and they can continue to subvert democracy. Maybe you have hope for a better outcome, but I don't.
I think you are greatly misreading Bernie Sanders
This is someone who has shown he has priorities, has principles and sticks to them, and knows how to pick his battles. We should do the same.
I'm sorry. I don't find
I'm sorry. I don't find endorsing a lying, corrupt candidate principled. I don't think that erases everything good that Bernie has done, or will do. Bernie's not perfect. He, like anyone, can make mistakes. I think this is one. People over at the GOS are using Bernie's words as cover to continue their "unity" bs and to say that Bernie is moving on from the corruption so we should too. So, now I get to hear Bernie's words thrown at me from Clinton folks and they aren't even lying.
Excuse the harshness
but fuck GOS. They could say the sky is blue but I'd still go outside to see for myself. The thing is I do not go there any more so I have no idea what they might be saying. What the do or don't think or say is none of my business.
My opinion, unsolicited I know, is that they like you are badly misreading Bernie as accepting corruption. There is nothing in his long political life to suggest such bullshit is possible. The fact that those still hanging with kos are saying it is all the confirmation I need.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
Yesterday was the first time
Yesterday was the first time I visited the GOS since March. Heck, I haven't visited here in a few weeks. This election has left me discouraged and angry. Maybe I should take more time off.
Easier solution:
learn to refuse the anger when offered. It is yourself offering it to you after all.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
I'm just not that enlightened
I'm just not that enlightened and I don't say this to be mean or to start a fight , but it comes across as condescending to me.
My apologies.
I do not intend to be condescending although I understand how you would feel that way. Let me try this. Each of us has a relationship with our emotions. How you have learned to deal with each one is entirely voluntary and your choice alone. Anger is a very powerful emotion. It is almost always a reaction to fear. Fear is mostly involuntary and is quite useful in keeping us safe in a somewhat dangerous world. It can also be life altering when it is uncontrollable and/or irrational. For instance the fear you feel when some knucklehead drifts into your lane from the opposite direction is not something you can control. The changes to your alertness and physical abilities might help you save your life which is good. Some can condition themselves to react to it in useful ways. Experience and training make a difference. The anger you feel following such an incident is also somewhat involuntary but it is a learned response to the primary stimulus of fear. Nobody can make you angry. It is yours and yours alone. I've learned to always think and say that I am angry and reject the notion that someone or thing made me angry. That is totally wrong, I did it. You have to agree to embrace the anger following the first flash up to stay angry. You can choose to do something positive with it by rejecting it or fall into it's arms, twist it around looking for reasons you are justified to feel angry, and roll it around in your head until all of your thoughts are consumed by it. The amount of emotional and physical energy it takes from you is debilitating and prevents you from enjoying every moment of life that you hold to it. It is not difficult to learn to refuse to fall for anger. It's only a matter of changing the habit of embracing it when it comes calling.
Me enlightened? Oh hell no! You don't have to be either. You simply need to understand that anger can only have the power over you that you give it. Practice refusing to be angry when it pops into your head and then refuse to think angry thoughts. After the feeling fades it is very useful to identify the fear that brought anger to the surface. You can inoculate yourself to anger reactions to that particular fear or situation. That's a little harder and takes time to learn but once you do then you can change the habit of being angry when that fear shows up.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
Alternatively, if you have a car
go for a short drive, windows up, and scream frustration away. Can be done at home, if alone. Do not do outside, unless miles from human ears, or you may induce fear in others, which is bad.
I am only half in jest. Lighten up. Bottled anger is bad all around. True.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Without a car, going for a run also helps diminish frustration
It's flight, as in "fight or flight," and lowers adrenaline levels.

Both suggestions have merit.
Eliminating the need to vent by learning to not fall into the trap serve me well most of the time. I'm far from perfect so I do give in to the seductiveness of righteous anger at times. I have to be in a low mood or low energy state any more but sometimes it sneaks up on me when I'm simply unaware. Righteous or not still anger with all of the bad effects. The thing about anger is that you never feel better wallowing in it. An adrenaline at first might create a false sense of well being and power but it quickly fades leaving me in a mental state that does nothing useful. It's a shitty feeling that clouds all of my thinking so I do my best to reject it in the first place. No matter how anyone tries to convince themselves otherwise there is nothing good or useful that comes with or from anger.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
I uprated your comment for the discussion, but I actually think
anger, along with fear and sadness, serves a useful purpose.
All negative emotions, I think, are signals from our bodies and minds saying, "Pay attention! Something needs to change!" And that unpleasant feeling is the motivation to change, because otherwise we would probably be complacent.
Not that you can always change what makes you angry or afraid or sad. But I have managed it enough in my life that I at least pay attention when a negative mood strikes. Only if I can't change it do I try to ignore it, get rid of it, or decide I won't let it affect me. Because yes, if you hang on too long, it just wears you out.
Please check out Pet Vet Help, consider joining us to help pets, and follow me @ElenaCarlena on Twitter! Thank you.
Hillbots over at GOS do a lot of things. I don't pay them much
attention any more. I never did follow Bernie because I'm a follower. I followed him because I agree with his principles. If his principles change, I'll go my own way. So "Bernie has moved on, so should you" means exactly zero to me. I get to decide when to move on. Who cares if they throw Bernie's words at you? Or anyone else's?
I will move on later this week, probably. I will wait and see what happens at the convention. Nothing will surprise me at this point.
The only questions are, "Who is better, Trump or Hillary?" This should be objectively answerable.
Then, "Are they different enough that you feel compelled to vote for one to ensure the other does not get into office?" If not, vote third party and for the end of lesser evilism.
Who endorses whom does not enter into this calculation.
Please check out Pet Vet Help, consider joining us to help pets, and follow me @ElenaCarlena on Twitter! Thank you.
I actually agree
that nothing will be done. It never is. Why should this time be different? What exactly has changed to make you think it would be remedied? That is where we differ. You say "Bernie is allowing corruption to win." I ask what makes you think he has the power to stop the corruption? We both know, if we'll admit it, that he has no such power. There are actions he can take that will make the corruption more visible to more people. Even those will be strongly resisted which he has no power to overcome directly. We can lead the media to a huge story but can't make them air it. I see his dilemma as whether to raise hell about it or allow the people to see the corruption as he's told them exists. Which path will best serve his move forward with a political revolution? We know exactly what his choice has been so far. I don't know if he will stay the course or not. I do ask you to seriously think through the risks and benefits of each course. Try to understand the possible why and what of each. You may go through that exercise as I have but still think as you do. Fair enough.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
Isn't it an oxymoron (not
Isn't it an oxymoron (not quite the right word, but I can't think of anything else) to say you believe that nothing is ever done and also say that Bernie should be nice to change things in the future? Are you suggesting that's never been tried? I've been hearing that for as long as I've been politically active. Hasn't happened yet. I'll be glad if he does, but you've not convinced me that his plan is anything new or will be more effective.
How about contradiction?
I'll go with a slight exaggeration that nothing is ever done. Some poor party schmuck who runs afoul of a law might get taken down if s/he isn't too important or powerful. Political rat fucking has more or less become accepted practice. I don't think that's a belief as much as an acknowledged position of most people. Political parties pretty much run on rules they create for themselves to be enforced to extent their membership is willing to force. Changing a sick system is always hard. The things Bernie has pounded on this election cycle like election finance reform, citizens united, and effective banking regulation might get a lot the money out of politics. The money is the corrosive influence whose elimination should help immensely. The big problem is breaking the self reinforcing loop. The only way to begin change is to elect people who support positions that promote change but the system was created to be a huge block to getting honest people with integrity elected. That was Bernie's first announced action following CA. Working on down ballot national and every local office races to elect Bernie type people is where it all begins. it might be easier to reform the Dem Party if Bernie were the party leader as president but it would still be one helluva fight as long as the entrenched gravy train has a source. The short answer is you're dead right. Fixing this shit isn't easy and it won't happen over night but it has to start somewhere. The when is what's up in the air.

Not that I was surprised, but Shumlin is a total train wreck and we might get Scott...yeesh.
At the beginning of this
At the beginning of this campaign, I thought the story of the Clinton's enemy list was a fun little story but not much different than how most people hold grudges (even if they won't admit it). Now, I don't doubt the depths the Clintons will go to punish those who don't tow the line. I can no longer be surprised by how low they can go.
She is proving
everything he said about her for him. The longer this campaign goes, with the inclusion of Trump and his goons, the more people will see HRC as the image of her Bernie painted in the primary. She grabs a shovel and furiously digs deeper every time she feels threatened. The combination of self inflicted wounds and Trump's never ending barrage of monkey poo is going to be delicious to watch. I don't know if even Bernie is up to the task of saving her from herself.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
They are both psychopathic -
(Edit: this replying to a comment about 'lesser evil voting' for Trump, to keep Hillary out.)
They are both psychopathic - and if everyone votes for any Bernie miracle showing up or, failing this, for the Greens, guess who wins.
Then a lawsuit (using the collected proof of expected massive cheating) and protests are needed - no more cheated-in Presidents can be accepted by The People, who, I've read somewhere recently, can ensure that anyone who does use cheating to 'win' will not be recognized as President by the rest of the world, either.
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
People around Clinton may be vindictive . . .
but my impression has always been that the problem is that she is just way too insulated. She is oblivious.
You even hear these pundits saying "it's important for Clinton to move to the center" -- it's as if Sanders didn't receive 13 million votes. The Kaine pick, the Bloomberg move, these are all consistent with that attitude.
I don't think it's necessarily malicious, so much as it is oblivious and indifferent to the feelings of others. It's not that they necessarily want to inflict pain, it's that they don't really care, and cannot understand, because they operate in a completely different reality. It's a failure of imagination and/or empathy as well, which are terrible traits in leaders.
This is the same way that they operate when it comes to foreign policy. For them the bombs dropping are abstractions. It will never be their kids fighting the wars either. DC/NYC seem to have their own kind of bubble too.
My take
The pundits say "It's important for Clinton to move to the center" because they want her to move to the center and they know she will move to the center, so they are giving her cover.
Also, for years, the meme has been "Vote for the Democrat because Supreme Court and the Republican is so horrible." And it's worked on the Party's left, though not necessaryon the Party's right. (More Democrats voted for Bush in Florida than voted for Nader.) Why would they want to change, especially when Hillary is running against possibly the worst Republican candidate in history.
Except their definition of "center" is CENTER-RIGHT
The actual political center in this country is about two baby steps to the right of where Bernie Sanders is. (Bernie a Leftist? Not hardly! He and Eisenhower could have swapped platforms and it would barely be noticed!)
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Amen!
"The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?" ~Orwell, "1984"
This is how the Clintons operate
They insult those who have no where else to go and rub their noses in it. This is exactly what Bill Clinton did to Jesse Jackson with his Sista Souljah speech. It is a tactic they use on purpose. I despise these people to no end. What they are doing is akin to organized crime and they are taunting us with their criminality and no one dares to do a damn thing about it.

Ellen and Chaddiwicker
Hillary isn't worried that it was Russia that released the emails. It's her way of deflecting the damage from the email release. By stating that it was Russia that released them they are also trying to deflect the attention over to Trump and it's working. People are saying that a Trump has ties with Russian oligarchs. I have seen many articles talking about his connection to them.
Ellen, I too find it disconcerting that Russia will get their hands on the uranium, but I don't think people in our government really care or they would have stopped the deal. Everything that Hillary, Bill and the foundation did during her time as SOS was known by Obama and some republicans. Grassley and other republicans knew about the deals she made with foreign governments because I don't think that Hillary alone had the power to make those deals.
Especially Obama because he had to know that she was selling weapons to Saudi Arabia.
When she was sworn into n as SOS she was told by congress and Obama to keep her foundation separate from her duties as SOS.
One article I read stated that if the Clinton foundation was looked at in depth it would show how many tentacles it had to so many people not only in our government, but many foreign governments, corporations like Boeing, Chevron, the Canadian companies involved in the Kestone pipeline and financial institutions.
He told her not to hire Sidney Bluementhal at state so she hired him to work for her foundation as a information specialist and he sent her classified information from Libya and the Sudan that he got from the NSA. They were pissed that he did that but nothing happened to him.
So if an organization as powerful as the NSA didn't do anything to the Clintons, then IMO it shows how powerful they are.
How you seem the video Clinton Cash yet? I watched in yesterday and the amount of money that the Clintons made both personally and for their foundation was absolutely horrible.
They made deals with dictators that has committed heinous human rights violations,
It doesn't matter to them how much misery those dictators caused as long as the Clintons made money.
The Clintons are so devoid of any humanity, it's beyond belief.
And our government is also devoid of humanity too because of all the death and destruction they have caused to the people around the world when they illegally invaded countless countries and slaughtering hundred of million innocent civilians, overthrow elected governments and install brutal dictators and as long as they let US 'interests' steal their resources it doesn't matter how many human rights violations.
As agulfGal wrote recently, too many people in not only this country but others too have lost touch with their humanity.
There were problems with running a campaign of Joy while committing a genocide? Who could have guessed?

Clinton's war with Russia may go from cold to hot
The fantasy the the Russians leaked altered emails--even if they did--perpetuated by the Hillary Lying Machine may turn out to be a dangerous portent. Barack has neatly "improved" our nuclear weapons and positioned them around both China and Russia, which are now virtually surrounded. No love lost between HRC and Putin. No war Hillary didn't like. We may see Iran as a dress rehearsal for confrontation with Russia in Crimea and Ukraine.
The difference between Dems and Repubs
Republicans don't want you to vote.
Democrats don't want your vote to mean anything.
I always laugh when Democrats whine about gerrymandering
districts.
Pot to kettle, hey black bottom
"Democrats 'make sure' your vote doesn't mean anything." There,
I fixed it for you.

I really need to find a way
I really need to find a way to let go of my anger soon. Bedtime is coming and I'm not going to be able to sleep.
I refuse to give people
power over me by being angry. Anger is a poison I do my ever loving best to refuse when offered. The skill can be learned if you practice long enough.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
What's poisonous is trying to quell your feelings.
Stuffing vs rejecting
is the issue. Rejecting anger can become as simple as saying to yourself "I don't have the time/energy to let this rule me right now." The full process requires that you identify the fear from which the anger grew and deal with the fear. Stuffing the feeling without processing it is what leads people to suddenly "blow" or rage. The habit of taking out and playing with an unresolved fear and the anger it spawns is resentment. I love the comparison of resentment to taking poison and hoping the target of your resentment dies. The most difficult part of learning to reject anger is convincing yourself that you have the power.
I completely agree that we all need to pay attention to how we feel and learn to listen to them. The involuntary response that is feeling often tells us things we don't understand on a conscious level or refuse to deal with. Stuffing feelings only leads to them suddenly demanding attention and really messing up life.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."
That's bull.
Oh, my, I just lost a loved one, ""I don't have the time/energy to let this rule me right now."
Yeah, right.
Anger is the 2nd phase of mourning.
How many people do you know who were stuck in anger for years over a loss? The loss doesn't have to be a loved one. It is a miserable existence until dealt with properly. Each of us has the power to make the choice to deal with the pain or live in misery. Scoff if you must but it is always a choice.
"Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..."

Ask the NSA.
Speaking of-----were all of her communications declared a no-fly zone by NSA?
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Wow. Amazing that that's their takeaway from this.
But actually, not really surprising at all.
The Double-Edge Sword of Highlighting Russian Involvement.
team Clinton may wish to be more cautious about playing up the Russian angel on the DNC emails, otherwise they may accidentally lend credence to a persistent RWTP of the last year: ‘that because the Russians and Chinese are likely to have her personal emails prior to her erasing the 31,000 ‘private emails’ they may have evidence they could use to blackmail her or the U.S. government.
We are aware that the DNC emails and HRC’s personal server emails are two entirely distinct sets, however, should we not be careful after expending efforts over the last year to deny that the Russians might have any of her emails?
If we highlight how aggressive, involved, pervasive, competent, and successful Russian government backed hackers are, and how much interest Putin et. al. have in using these capabilities to interfere with U.S. elections we may open a whole new can of worms.
Former CIA Director Gates and several others are on record saying it is highly likely that the Russians and other foreign government intelligence orgs have the original full set of HRC emails. This is often cited has a reason on right-wing blogs that she should never again have a security clearance. And, that no one other than her, could in this circumstance obtain a security clearance. Putin may use threats of further embarrassing revelations as leverage.
Others are already bringing up the "What did she know and when did she know it?" question. Which if applied to the original server emails leads one to conclude that HRC knowingly lied to the Democratic voters in order to win the primaries. Another topic with lots of implications that the media has curiously not delved into.
The pieces of the puzzle are suggesting that HRC has pulled a "John Edwards" on the Democratic Party. Edwards was willing to gamble a potential disaster for the Democratic Party on the bet that the media would not find out about his affair until too late when he would be locked-in as the nominee. Hillary appears to have done the same thing at a higher level. But she had the assistance of her own media managers as well as DWS and the DNC suppressing media coverage so she could wind the primaries - something she probably would not have done had voters known the truth about her emails and lies to them about them.
Delegates need to replace her with a more suitable candidate before they adopt responsibility for all of her machinations.

Wikileaks already posted the emails from Hillary's server
https://wikileaks.org/clinton-emails/
Funny, I didn't hear about it at the time. I wonder how that could be?
But I think it's pretty fair to assume every government in the world has all the content from that insecure server.
As much as I hate Pence & Trump... well, we might have to just hit bottom so we can start to fix things. Hillary cannot be allowed to be in charge.
And a warning to the HRC camp. You think us lefties are a pain in the butt when we feel cheated? You really don't want to rile up the Trump crowd with any blatant general election shenanigans... That group won't just rant on the internet and show up for peaceful protests.
Trump is "Connected" and you know what that means

Connected
Mossad has better toys than Trump's connections and its people are in better shape. Uncle Bibi will keep little Hillary safe.

Only tactics. They are in survival mode and they are desperately saying anything to deflect any attention off of their own incompetence and malfeasanse.

Their talking points are such a mess right now
They can't overstate the dangers of security vulnerabilities cause that would remind everyone of the gravity of Hillary's email crimes. So they try to blame Russia but whoa look at all of that foreign money flowing through the Clintons. It's not possible to care about Russian interest in Wikileaks on one hand while on the other hand pretending that $29 billion in quid-pro-quo arms sales to Saudi Arabia by Hillary is insignificant.
Look! A squirrel.
