in the beginning, but I can't find the link anymore. With me I always don't see the forest for the trees. I bet it's somewhere right in front of my eyes, but they just don't want to see it ...
found it. Strange I never scrolled down on dailykos to the bottom part as well where all the fancy links were. Sigh. I don't like to sink to the bottom... /s
since 2-8-15. I sent him an email after he announced his leaving Dkos at Joe's EB to remind him that he's very welcome here, didn't get a response. I think he mentioned giving up blogging for a while in general, not just DKos.
loved those 'green shoots' that never quite sprouted. I was glad to see the back of him. I preferred you, Bobswern and Jerome a Paris. Way back I also followed David Sirota who they ran off but quick.
absence of Mr. Swern, there could be this, from Prof. Robert Zimmerman, of the University of Minnesota:
It was like the unbroken sea of frost that lay outside the window and you had to have awkward footgear to walk on it. I didn't know what age of history we were in nor what the truth of it was. Nobody bothered with that. As for what time it was, it was always just beginning to be daylight.
And I knew a little bit about history, too—the history of a few nations and states—and it was always the same pattern. Some early archaic period where society grows and develops and thrives, then some classical period where the society reaches its maturation point, and then a slacking-off period where decadence makes things fall apart.
I had no idea which one of these stages America was in. There was nobody to check with. A certain rude rhythm was making it all sway, though. It was pointless to think about it. Whatever you were thinking, could be dead wrong.
I hate that ads come up when I pick from the tubing-u the videos, and they clue me in not at all, that people watching will be subjected to mortgages and belly fat.

I know. I miss him too.
If we rode out 2008, hopefully this one will be much less awful.

A while back I pm'd JtC
to ask him what happened to the memberlist. So you are not the only one who did not know that it was moved to the bottom of the page.

I must not be that memorable. I recognize you from DKOS.
My user ID here is the same as there.
Well, I certainly know you.
But never as well as I would have liked to.
Nice to see you, Rome.
You're so sweet.
and sometimes not. that's why I like you.
DKOS is diminished without BS.
Gjohn's thread was on there and I enjoyed that.
DOW down 1,100 points in two days
I tried to engage on DKos but the permabulls have taken over.
I was even told that the professional traders on Wall Street didn't know what they were doing, and that the smart thing to do was to buy on every dip.
This is not normal.
Can't resit, what comes to mind from
Gilbert & Sullivan: "Iolanthe, shall we perambulate through the garden spotting bullfinches and butterflies as they mate?"

He got into a pie fight
and the flying HR brigade swooped down en masse and left him NR.

Just an FYI
NDD on Bonddad blog made fun of my pointing out the commodity crash would have negative outcomes on August 7.
S&P 500 down nearly 200 points since then.
And then made fun of "doomers" (i.e. bears) in general after the bad day on Friday.
S&P 500 down 70 points today.
China is down another 5% so far tonight.
Bondad just
loved those 'green shoots' that never quite sprouted. I was glad to see the back of him. I preferred you, Bobswern and Jerome a Paris. Way back I also followed David Sirota who they ran off but quick.

How ironic
a shadow of a refinance your mortgage ad came up on this youtube. Made me giggle. It was replaced by cut your belly fat. Love this song.
