RIP Anonymous Bosch ---- Yippie!

[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neDnpgZPPvY]

After a long and hoary career as a serial snarker, irredeemable punster, teller of off-color jokes and ribald limericks, Anonymous Bosch, today shed his chrysalis and spread his wings. Beloved by many, except thems what crossed his line, He will be soarly missed.

The family members living inside his head had ample notice to make preparations. And preparations did they make.

Quoting AB's, as he was affectionately called sometimes (almost) last words,

Today all my anxieties of the weekend melted away in swift succession. First, the Therapy Center I mentioned in my essay called back and we completed the initial phone interview. I'm scheduled for a more in-depth interview in 10 days.

Next, I contacted the Mizzoni Center to discuss HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy). Earliest appointments are in Sept. and early Oct. That's fine. It is what it is. At my age, a few weeks go by in the blink of an eye. (I'm getting tingly with anticipation though, I have to admit.)

For the Hat Trick, the electrolysisogist (I'm not sure that's a real word) that I called last week, called back and we have a consultation meeting scheduled for later in the week. Lasers sound cool but they don't work on white hair... like my face hair. And it takes forever, multiple visits to keep at it. Plus, it's not really permanent. (They don't tell you that though. You have to read real-life experiences to find that out.)

That's 3 Yippies! Yahoo       Yahoo       Yahoo

OK. Turn that creepy music off.

and reading posts on this one, sometimes I forget to look at the author's name. In this case, I did not, so it gave me a bit of a jolt.

Tried to change the title? Dang! I haven't figured out how myself and was going to bug you for the tip if you did it. = )

would have been priceless. I could have added indignation* to my little list of "i"s. Mosking

If you're the author of an essay, you have control buttons at the top of the essay. One of them is "Edit". So you edit and change your title... or whatever. I had to do it to this essay a couple of times already because the vids were coming out like wallpaper.

* I would have been an indignator, or maybe an indignatress.

out. = ) Thanks, others are now forewarned.

Thanks for letting me know. I tried that way of changing a title and it did not work (for me). I wanted to take out the "Part 1" in the title as I never got around to doing Part 2. Oh, well, it is long buried now (oh, dear, is that impolite in a RIP essay?), and it is just my perfectionism gene causing me anxiety over it.

My changes wouldn't "stick" for the first couple of times. I know what you mean about "Part 1" I started writing a story way back when, when I got here, and the "Part 2" is still on this side of the keyboard. Keep trying.

Impolite? Depends on whether your audience has a morbid sense of humor. (But I got the joke.)

sleep, I will try again. = ) A Part 2 is no longer needed for that particular theme.

I have an eclectic sense of humor and sometimes people miss when I say something tongue-in-cheek, so I am glad you got it.

SWPUWM and I had another long talk this evening. She's worried because I've been diagnosed bipolar. Well no shit. A lot of us are from what I've read. And left-handed. And double-jointed. I've been very up-front with the doctor I'm going to see. Not going to try to do this on my own. It's difficult for her because everything is going to be turned upside down, and she's used to Gibraltar-like stability. It's going to be difficult and challenging for both of us.

We sort of got into it, which is a pleasant change because we're both avoidance-prone. But as we talked some of the fears are becoming manageable. We are going to help each other make a new life for ourselves. We're best friends. We've been together half of our lives. Neither of us wants to ditch that. We're going to invest in it not happening.

I asked her, "What would you do if your friend got out of prison after fifty years? Would you help her, or would you say, 'Good luck'?" And who wouldn't be a bit clumsy before reintroduction to the outside?

I'm hopeful for both of us. I love her tremendously.

There is a record (what we called vinyls) from my childhood that fits both your change and your avatar. It's called "Herman Ermine in Rabbit Town." I believe you can listen to it online (but I have no idea how to post it here). The story tells that the ermine and the weasel are the same animal. The difference: the fur is white in the winter (to blend with the snow) and brown/black in the summer. Obvious: same inside, regardless of the outside. My parents were left-wingers who wanted their children to know such things. Be at peace with your new exterior---finally.
