... but I very much support Bernie talking to Clinton. To be frank, I certainly wouldn't want to speak with her, lol, yet someone should, imo.

In a private conversation they can come to some sort of common connection - after all, they have known each other for a long time, regardless of whether or not they agree on anything (and I can't see Hillary being believed even if she says she agrees).

I'm not sure yet what Bernie wants to put across as the marker for the Democratic Party to accommodate. I don't think his speaking with Hillary (or Obama for that matter) is a chore that will be pleasant for him, but he will do better in his political fight if he knows where Clinton is coming from at this time.

I've noticed since the debacle in California that he is really deep in his game right now, and is making no superficial efforts to hide that.

the Democratic Party. At least, that's my take.

In two appearances, on This Week and on Face The Nation, he made it quite clear that he is going to the Convention to have input in, or contest, if necessary, the Democratic Party Platform.

He also used the exact wording, "to transform the Democratic Party."

Therefore, it seems logical (to me) that he's not considering a run as a Third Party candidate. Or even a write-in candidacy.

Bernie is always very emphatic regarding his desire to defeat Donald Trump. He has stated this over, and over again.

I'll post the transcript and the link from his This Week interview with George S, tomorrow.

I suspect that Bernie knows that FSC cannot be trusted, but that he continues to refuse to endorse her, so that he has some degree of leverage during their negotiations over the next several weeks.

BTW, the first joint campaign appearance (FSC & PBO) was scheduled for the day after the D.C. primary, or Wednesday.

Heard on AP breaking news that they've cancelled, or postponed it--TBA at a later date.

Another Platform bargaining chip, perhaps?

All the cheating...it is amazing Bernie wants to facilitate and support the corrupt corporate demorats. I'm afraid it is just too late.

How about google shifting searches away from negative Clinton stories? I think the corruption is deep, and then I find it is deeper. 12 min video clip worth the time (if you got it)

Spread these videos far and wide. We don't need to be the ones who are fucked. Let's make Google fucked. If people know they are being led by Google, see the proof and come to understand it, Google is hosed. Time to put them on the defensive.

Google makes their money selling the information they gather from what we look for through their service. I've been using Duck Duck Go since Thom Hartmann mentioned it on his show a few years back.

I tried it last year but it was not working great but I have had DuckDuckGo set as my default search for a few days and it works great now

This was posted in November 2014. Do these links still work one and one half years later? And if so, in all countries or only the U.S.?

Although I don't trust Google one
whit, all they're showing for me
are

-Maps searches that I've done
(quite careful what I search for
using Maps);

- nothing on YouTube
oddly enough, because I've
clicked on many c99p as well as
other sites' YT links plus firing up
the YT app that came installed on
my Android phone to watch stuff

- some half dozen google.com
searches I've done over the past
year to compare results with
those I've gotten using StartPage/
ixquick and DuckDuckGo (results
can vary dramatically).

That said, I keep GPS on my
phone turned off; have set
Google not to tailor ads based
on what it knows about me; have
installed maybe ten apps on the
phone (and only ones with non-
intrusives ToSs), of which I may
use three rarely . . .

Try to keep a low profile, BUT I
don't trust Google to honestly
report what it knows about me.
That's what a GOOD corp
*might* do, and Google by no
measure qualifies as a good
corp (except for, like banks, its
top execs paying themselves
obscene compensation).

lotlizard, when I followed the link and checked on item #4, "Find every device that has accessed your Google account," I found a Samsung Galaxy phone listed. I don't have a Samsung Galaxy phone! I use Apple devices. The report showed this Samsung Galaxy had "Full Access" to my Google account!

Needless to say, I immediately nixed the Samsung Galaxy, reset my password, and verified that I had two-step verification turned on. I also set up my iPhone to receive Gmail. I hadn't had Gmail set up on my iPhone till now (I seldom use Gmail). When I checked the Gmail inbox, Google had indeed sent me an email message notifying me that a Samsung Galaxy had been added to my "secure devices" around a month ago. I had not checked Gmail since before then.

Thank-you! for posting that link. I wouldn't have known.

I once made a comment on another site years ago that I found it odd that any time I looked for news, the majority of results lead with FOX links. It wasn't but a couple of minutes later that someone claiming to be a Google employee tried to convince me that their algorithms indicated that people WANTED FOX sources over others, despite the fact that FOX is known to lie, and has legal sanction to do so ( http://www.philly2philly.com/politics_community/politics_community_artic... ).

It's a BIG club, and we ain't in it.

Make it clear Bernie. On Tuesday, tell Hillary they have to get rid of Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Tulsi Gabbard will be appointed as the new DNC Chairperson, and the Revolution goes forward in the best way. When Hillary goes down for all her bad karma, Bernie will be our President, and Tulsi the VP. The Revolution will go on, and on, well guided and watched over. - Nemoshell

pretty sure I read that Tulsi doesn't want and wouldn't take the job. Tis too stinky Smile

Bernie has the advantage of knowing exactly what he wants, and having been as clear in public as he is in private about his agenda, he will not be dominated or co-opted in any way by Hillary.

I believe Hillary will be looking for a hook to use against Bernie after the meeting if she is not pleased, but Bernie knows that, and will not give it to her.

The ruling classes need an extra party to make the rest of us feel as if we participate in democracy. That's what the Democrats are for. They make the US more durable than the Soviet Union was.
