Rachel Discusses No Hootin' or Hollerin' Order for State Dem Conventions

I've stopped watching her religiously, so I had missed this discussion by her:
I live for auditory and visual distractions from the floor! -Rachel Maddow
Me, too, Rachel, me too: I also very much want the right to hoot and holler.
I read the written pieces, and have been told by the head of the campaign in this state that this doesn't mean anything.
Rachel clearly has caution that this is as chilling as I find it.
She said people needed medical attention at the Nevada convention - has anyone heard that?
Comments
Rachel's still spreading that chair throwing lie.
On another, unrelated note, it takes Rachel Maddow more words to say less than anyone on television. Before I figured out that she was a propagandist rather than a journalist, I had concluded she is a bore.

This is an old vid
I believe I've heard her walk the chair-throwing thang back (in fact I thought he had done that in this piece - but hard to keep track).
But it was on the abortion issue in this race where she lost my faith since she was so utterly disingenuous with the propaganda.

Yes, a bore but also condescending.

Right off hand, I do not remember where
I read it (I believe it was on the Facebook page from a person who was there), but there were reports that several people fainted or had some health issues due mostly diabetes at the convention and needed some medical attention.

A 15-hour marathon of horror
...but the medical attention was not due to violence which did not take place.
My state has a countdown clock on the state convention webpage. Ominous,

Rachael is being very disingenuous here
Notice how she first paints Sanders supporters as being frightening. Then she dredges up the "alleged chair throwing" of which there has yet to be produced any documentation that it even happened despite hundreds of cell phone present at the time. Finally, in the same sentence she comments that people needed medical attention which would lead the casual viewer to conclude that people were physically harmed by upset Sanders supporters. I find it appalling that she has twisted the facts so much against Sanders and his supporters without mentioning WHY they were so upset.
Rachael is a corporate hack.

hey gg
my comment below was meant as a reply to you, I keep on hitting the wrong reply button. I'll get it one of these days.

LOL,
been there, occasionally keep doing that myself.

Yes She IS Korporate-
-Owned, just as Shillary is corporate owned, so if we do the opposite of all the things she lies and suggests are roolz and don't buy her factoids, look for and find facts instead, we'll be well off, even *if at times that means battles with Shillarites and other fascist thugs like teabaggers.
::sigh::
My late husband waa diabetic. He KNEW what would bring on a crisis, from a space being too hot for him as a participant or as an audience member. I have mild COPD and I know when a space is too hot or too full of schmutz in the air for me to remain there. I also have a permanent nerve damage issue with both feet and hands and I can tell if I'm going to be unable to be on my feet or walking for very long. I KNOW to leave an area rather than to persist... I also know not to accept a responsibility if I can't fulfill it. The people at a convention or a caucus are adults and as such one hopes they knew ahead of time what their bodies and conditions would or would not tolerate.
OTOH, if the state Dem. chairperson deliberately directs a hall to be left to heat up too much, or pulls some stunt designed to make a lot of people as uncomfortable as possible, then by gum remove them forthwith and fix the problem as it occurs neh? I've seen people make amazing fixes to crowd handling in short order working in live theater and concert venues in rather large spaces from time to time. If a house manager can do these things then a state chairman can get a house manager to do someting in short bloody order.
This is the reason I have a *really difficult time believing a single dadgummed word published about the goings on in NV and why every word that chirping goddamned parrot people think of a America's broadcasting liberull sweetheart" burps out on the air any more

The violence is all on Roberta
The duration of it and the heat are dangerous to delegates, hands down.
Bringing in the police to end it? Wow.

yep
She lies here by both imputation and omission, very clever of her.
Sad to see all that brain-power corrupted in the service of the likes of Hillary Clinton.
Hillary continues to corrupt everyone who supports her, and that's just during the campaign. Imagine who she will corrupt as President.

My Take
Rachel has nothing to add to the discussion, which is a waste of her incredible intellect. I think of the good she could accomplish if she were to act s a journalist instead of a propagandist for Hillary.
But no. She's demonstrated what she will do, and to listen to her now is merely to be distracted from pushing Bernie to the nomination.

Just dump them and do not watch. You will be manipulated if you want it or not. So, let them hang dry.

Honestly wonder why more don't do this...

My "last gasp" teevee person was Thom Hartmann
and I dumped him when his whole schtick was "vote HRC if Bernie doesn't get the nom because scary Republicans." Sorry, that just doesn't cut it anymore. I haven't watched MSNBC for years now...
maddow schmaddow
I've never seen her show. She works on a corporate media outlet. In a world where the debate is limited to center right versus far right, a centrist can appear liberal. When I can hear Noam Chomsky, or Cornell West, or Jeremy Scahill on there, then maybe I'll give it a look...
No need
She was fresh and interesting when she started on Air America. Disappointing to see her morph into an establishment hack.
