Election night expectations

I am at work (west coast person) and hoping that Alphalop will be online to host the election watching party.

My expectations are low for tonight- everyone is counting on Bernie not doing well and in fact DNC leadership, Hillary supporters and media have asked/demanded him to drop out and to explain why he continues on, and I have one thing to say to all of them- Fuck You! (sorry for the harsh language).

I don't know what it means, but it seems interesting

When I first read the press release announcing Correct The Record was splitting off from American Bridge and that they intended to coordinate with the campaign and DNC committees, it piqued my curiosity about this notion of coordination. Here's the sentence where that is disclosed:

Book launch in NYC - Jeremy Scahill, Glenn Greenwald and others

I so wish I lived on the East Coast.

Jeremy Scahill has published a new book on drone warfare. His first book was on Blackwater and this follows up from that book and his second book Dirty Wars. Since Glenn will be there from Brazil, and probably other notable people will be in the audience, and the tickets are really cheap, and jeremy had a tweet that tickets going fast and would probably be sold out, ...

Corbin Trent and Zack Exely have left the building

On Sunday April 24th an unnamed source told me that Sanders campaign staffers Corbin Trent, the founder of Tennessee for Sanders and Zack Exely, Sanders Senior Digital Advisor had left the Sanders campaign to start something called "Brand New Congress". I was also told the soft rollout for a brandnewcongress.org would occur Monday.

Yet Another Sign of the Broken Nature of Money in Politics: Mark Warner (D-VA) coming to Los Angeles?!

I got an email this morning that I found odd. Mark Warner, one of the remaining conservadem Senators and one of the few to escape the 2014 bloodbath, is coming to Los Angeles in order to raise money. A lot of money. For the cut rate price of $1,000, I could see one of my least favorite Democratic Senators who has literally no real reason for being here; if I'm feeling opulent, I can spend $5,400 to be a host.

About the recent changes in the site layout.

Greetings folks. Real Life has pulled me away from my computer for much of the last couple of days, so I want to drop a quick line about the recent site layout changes. We lost the right sidebar on our two main pages yesterday and rather that leave it at that I temporarily migrated everything over to the left sidebar. I say temporarily because within the next week or two we will be updating the site software and all the current bugs should be ironed out at that time.
