The Koch brothers spent $20 million trying to tell the public how great the Trump tax cut was. It didn't work.
Because the adoptive family where I grew up as the only child went out of their way to me be non-communicative, at least with me, I think I must have inherited my gre·gar·i·ous side from my biological mother. Never actually met the woman, but I've discovered that she shared my habit of always wanting to make conversation both friends and strangers. Perhaps this explains why I would want to host The Tuesday Talking stick, and why I continue to enjoy hosting a monthly film discussion group called Spiritual Cinema Louisville.
That group actually has much in common with The Talking Stick and most open threads. After streaming a film or watching a movie on disk, we draw our chairs closer together and wait to see what happens. We, most often I, choose not to screen documentaries since that would be a visual presentation of take it or leave fact(s). We prefer films that provoke conversation rather than try to persuade ... films that speak truth although they may never have actually happened. By talking about what we have seen together, we hope to make discoveries that would not be possible {be sure your volume is turned on} if we stayed home and watched a film alone.

Hello everyone:
Due to a mold issue in our current apartment here in Fort Lauderdale Florida, my husband and I are moving to a newer apartment complex.
The news media seems unhappy that the bombing of Syria is already over.
I've read some smirking comments about Putin's threat of "consequences" that never happened.
But the real story may be that we came dangerously close to an ugly situation - with Iran.
When I previously posted on the charade of the chemical weapon attack, I was overly optimistic about Trump, having bellowed loudly and beaten his chest convincingly, would then pull back as he previously intended. I thought linearly, always a mistake in politics or war. Israel has now interjected itself into the conflict.
Israel lobbing missiles in Syria. 16 minutes.
Clearly the UK Labour leader has gone round the bend.
Not just once, but twice, he's asked for evidence before dropping bombs and killing lots of people.
He first had the audacity of asking for proof on the spy poisoning.
The DNC has been having trouble raising funds ever since the Clinton campaign purchased the organization in order to rig the 2016 primaries against Bernie. So you would think that the DNC leadership would go out of their way to distance themselves from their corrupt past. You would be wrong.
