Mugged

I don’t believe in publicly distributing mugshots. I think it’s cruel. It’s a relict of public shaming, and humans should be beyond that. Like they’re beyond stocks, and scarlet letters. You forcibly photograph someone in what for many will be the nadir of their life, and then you throw out the pics for all and every, so they can laugh, and call them names. No wonder the space aliens won’t let the humans into the family of stars.

Some serious front loops are seeking to become president this cycle, from Vivek Ramaswamy to Cornel West to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., noah crosd.jpgnattering nimrods who are not competent to run their own mouths, much less the country. The temptation is to just ignore them, until they go away. Except that in elevating to the presidency the Kleagle the Americans proved they are so lacking in sanity and decency they will select to sit over them even a pig-ignorant imp of satan. Like Noah Cross in Chinatown, the Americans, they are “capable of . . . anything.”

The wholesale slaughter of Ukrainian foot soldiers in unending waves of failed assaults is leaving psychological marks on frontline Russian soldiers, who up until now, have considered them brother Slavs.

Delusions

The sheer longevity of the “Stop the Steal” movement must cause us to consider its ramifications if only because the fact of so many of our friends and neighbors being so utterly deluded suggests a deep-seated denial of the social compact upon which our nation rests. The depth of passion of its adherents coupled with their dedication to their fearless leader must give further pause.
