Born in West LA to the children of economic refugees from Michigan and Texas. They were born in 1931 and lived through the depths of the Depression. Their parents were economic refugees from Greece and Ireland. My mother did not have a high school diploma. I am a first-generation college graduate. My father raised me Republican. I was active at the County level. Once I had spent some time in the real world, I discovered that my father was full of malarkey. I left the GOP in 1973 because Watergate and never looked back. Worked in banking, mortgage lending, and hold a CA Real Estate Broker License (dormant.) I earned my BA in 2001, at the age of 50, in the Law and Society Program of the Political Science Department at UC Santa Barbara. Then went straight on to UC Hastings College of the Law, class of 2004. I have been prevented from passing the Bar by illnesses and injury. I have an income tax and legal doc prep business, OneTaxMind.com. I am a candidate in the LL.M. Program in International Taxation and Wealth Management at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. I have been disabled since 1982. I was a passenger in a tiny Honda Prelude. We were in a head-on collision with a 2-ton Chevy van. I look perfectly normal and can walk short distances. I am a very lucky person!
