Dear Superdelegate:
I am a lifelong Democrat who lives in Ohio. I have voted straight Democratic ticket for the past 35 years and have campaigned for Democrats the last three elections. For the past year I have been campaigning for Bernie Sanders.
It's a fact that our Democracy is set up to favor a two-party system. Any third party has an extreme uphill climb to get even modest electoral success. I have come to the conclusion that the Democratic Party is not or should not be a private club that belongs to some wealthy elites, even though they may act like it does. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party are both in essence instruments of access for coming to power in our democratic system.
This primary season (as well as the previous ones) has shown clearly how the establishment (the two parties, media, corporations, status quo politicians, etc.) has opposed and unfairly hindered Bernie Sander's campaign for nomination. This is not a new phenomena and has been going on in previous elections as well.
I just wrote this over at the big squiggly orange, thought I'd share it here since I plan to do that with all my writings
