About a month ago a Saudi air strike on a detention centre in north-western Yemen, according to Doctors without Borders, killed at least 80 people and injured over 200. The laser-guided bomb used in the attack was manufactured by Raytheon.

I have to wonder what the people in the U.N. thought when Biden said this:

The withdrawal from Afghanistan is nearly half-way complete, and is looking almost unstoppable now.
Of course we won't stop bombing Afghanistan. Sheesh. What sort of imperialist empire doesn't bomb Afghanistan? I suppose you want a unicorn pony too?

Saudi Arabia has committed countless war crimes in Yemen with American planes and bombs.
Not only does the Trump Administration not care about this, they seem proud of it.
But the Trump Administration does care about mass layoffs in Texas during an election year, and by a strange twist of fate Frackers and AntiWar Activists have wound up on the same side of an issue.

Remember in 2002 when the neocons in Washington told us that we had to attack Iraq because of 9/11, eventhough Iraq had nothing to do with it?
So now Iran is being blamed for the attack on Saudi oil fields, and anonymous warmongers claim that they have proof.

Given that gjonsit’s thread from Sept. 15 is still continuing, it may not be necessary to put this up, but I thought I could add a few bits, and you’ll add more.  Needless to say, Iran is getting all the evidence-free blame, Houthi claims of being the authors of the swarm of precision hits notwithstanding, nor are other possibilities. 

The neocons in Washington are playing checkers, while Moscow is playing chess.
There is no strategy to help Russia gain influence in the Middle East. It just works out that way because of Washington's incompetence.

Yemen

Saudi Arabia has been bombing civilians in Yemen (and covering it up) for four years. Yet they haven't come anywhere close to taking back the capital of Sanaa.
The Saudi's most notable victory was defeating the Houthi assault on the old capital city of former state of South Yemen - Aden.

America doesn't actually have troops on the ground in Yemen, but Trump decided to veto the resolution against the genocidal war anyway. So who knows how long we'll be involved in that disaster.
