Open Thread - 04-14-23 - Gender Memories from the Courtroom
Submitted by on the cusp on Fri, 04/14/2023 - 7:11amNot talking about gender identities, but born to a gender at a time when Women's Lib was trying to accomplish something like societal and work place equity and parity for women, who still make something like 65 cents to a man's $1.00. Specifically, I will address the female gender practicing law back in the 1980s, and wearing dresses and skirts. This is my experience in Southeast Texas courtrooms.
