Adding one more voice to the Democrats' "best we can do" discourse on health care is the "Biden-Bernie Task Force," which came out with its recommendations Wednesday. As Natalie Shure of In These Times pointed out, what's missing from the health care portion of these recommendations is Medicare for All.
Millions young and old, caught up in the struggle for Healthcare and now there's a consensus.
Last year we were told that we couldn't afford Medicare For All because it would cost an extra $1.4 Trillion in taxes a year. That number was largely accepted by the media.
I got to thinking that there's a real chance that this study was nothing but a guess.
But how would one know?

Whatever you call it, will we ever have a national healthcare system in the United States that ensures access to adequate care and services for everyone, without anyone left out or going broke if you get sick or injured?
If you are such an optimistic person that you believe the answer is yes, or even maybe, or maybe someday, I salute you. My own hope is currently dead in the water.
